-3 Weeks Later- - Night Before The Play-

-Taemin Pov-

The last 3 weeks, everyone had been working very hard for the play tomorrow. I could say that in the last 3 weeks of practicing had been…awkward. Yes, shocking isn’t it? You would of expected me to say it’s the greatest moments of my life but really it was just awkward. I know I should be happy that Boa is the lead female role and all…but I felt slightly uncomfortable for some odd reasons…like for example the dancing scene…does the dance require us to stand that close to each other? Sure I know we hugged when she first confessed to me but that was barely 5 seconds…this is a dance scene that lasts for 5 minutes!

Also! I always get Goosebumps when I think of the kissing scene…the kind of Goosebumps you get when you think things aren’t right and makes you feel like you want to avoid it… why did I feel like this? Maybe I was just too nervous and plus this will be my first kiss after all.

‘I should just go to sleep…i’m thinking too much.’ I thought and went to bed.

-The Next Day - - The Play Day-

-Your Pov-

The Academy’s auditorium was filled, I along with the instrumental group were setting up our chairs and instruments just in front of the stage, seeing that it was all set up and done, I decided to head to the backstage to see how things were going. Behind backstage everyone was rushing around getting things ready, actors and actresses were getting their make up done and get into their costumes and stage people were setting up the crops for the first scene.

I could see Minho ordering people around on where to place the crops, Jonghyun was rushing around also ordering backstage workers around such as the lighting wasn’t right. Chunji was discussing things with the teacher in the corner…

‘HEY Byul~’ I heard Uee’s voice called me

I smiled ‘Hey guys. Pretty hectic huh?’ I said

L.joe laughed ‘you have no idea.’ He said

Uee shook her head ‘you think out here is hectic? You should check out the dressing rooms in there is chaotic.’ Uee said

L.joe nod ‘yeah, you should drop by there for a bit, wish the others luck and all’ L.Joe said ‘well me and Uee better head off, we have to discuss things with the teachers.’

I went to the dressing room, and was greeted with the sight of Key nagging all of the casts.

Key saw me and went to me ‘You won’t believe these people! I just gave them their costumes and they almost destroy them!’ he whined

 ‘BYUL!’ a voice shouted as I was tackled into a tight hug.

‘Hey…Nana Unni’ I choked out chuckling.

‘Your choking her! She needs to breath!’ Kahi scolded from the corner while working on Jungah’s make up.

I smiled ‘whoa everyone looks really good.’ I complimented looking at Nana’s costumes as well as everyone else in the room.

‘Of Course! Cause THE ALMIGTHY KEY made them!’ Key stated full of pride.

Nana rolled her eyes ‘Tsk tsk. This diva wouldn’t stop nagging everyone in the room since he gave us our costumes. It was ‘don’t do this…’ or ‘don’t do that…’ and ‘You know how long that took!’ ‘ she said

‘Well it is true! They took me forever!’ Key whined before seeing someone almost ruining their costume which cause him to run to that person and nag them

‘so where are the others?’ I asked looking around the room

‘Well you know Onew…his eating somewhere before the play starts…The B****? Don’t care where she is….oh and Taemin is getting changed into his costume.’ Nana said

At the very next second, the changing room door opened…revealing the prince Taemin, I would be lying to myself if I didn’t admit that Taemin was indeed very adorable and looked very suited in his costumes.

‘What do you think?!’ Taemin questioned grinning

Hearing Taemin’s voice, Boa appeared out of no where and was complimenting him.

‘Where the F*** did she come from?’ Nana said unhappily

I laughed and shrugged my shoulders ‘ well wish you guys luck’ I said before leaving the dressing room and back to the instrumental group.

- 3^rd Person Pov -

-The Play-

Onew being the narrator, he was to remain on the stage through out the whole play, sitting on the side to narrate. The curtains remained closed as the play began.

‘Once upon a time in a faraway land there was a tiny Kingdom, peaceful, prosperous and rich in romance and tradition. Here in a stately chateau there lived a widowed gentleman and his little daughter Cinderella. Although he was a kind and devoted father and gave his beloved child every luxury and comfort still he felt she needed a mother's care. And so he married again choosing for his second wife a woman of good family with a daughter just Cinderella's age. It was the death of this good man, however, that the stepmother's true nature was revealed. As time went by the estate fell into disrepair, for the family fortunes were squandered upon the vain and selfish stepsister while Cinderella was abused, humiliated and finally forced to become a servant in her own house. And yet through it all Cinderella remained ever gentle and kind for with each dawn she found new hope that someday her dreams of happiness would come true.’ Onew narrated, trying not to gag as he had to complimented Cinderella as the script was written.

The curtain opens displaying a kitchen, Boa as Cinderella was cooking breakfast.

‘CINDERELLA!’ the stepsister shouted as she entered on to the stage. ‘Did you clean my shoes?!’

‘Yes, I did’ Cinderella replied politely.

‘Did you wash my dress?’ The Stepsister continued to question ‘and did you make my breakfast?!’

‘Yes, I did. And your breakfast is ready’ Cinderella said.

Nana, role as the step mother came on the stage.

‘There's the largest carpet in the main hall. Clean it! And the windows, upstairs and down. Wash them! Oh yes, and the tapestries and the draperies.’ The stepmother ordered ‘And don't forget the garden. Then scrub the terrace, sweep the halls and the stairs, clean the chimneys and, of course, there's the mending and the sewing and the laundry.’

‘The evil Stepmother and the bad Stepsister wanted Cinderella to work a lot.’ Onew narrated.

The curtains then closed.

‘At the same time, over at the castle. The king was not pleased that his son has not being able to find the rightful princess yet for in hand of marriage.’ Onew narrated.

The curtains reopened to a new scene which was the king’s room.

‘ My son has been avoiding his responsibilities long enough. It's high time he married and settled down.’ The king said unhappily ‘I'm lonely in this desolate old palace. I--I want to hear the pitter patter of little feet again’

‘Now, now Your Majesty. perhaps if we just let him alone. He’ll one day find his one true love’ the duke said

‘Then I shall help him find his true love!’ the king announced ‘We’ll arrange a ball, we’ll invite every household there is on this land to the ball. My son will surely find someone!’

‘As you wish your Highness.’ The duke said.

The curtain closed, ending the scene.

‘The Duke wasted no time as he prepared the invitations and head out to send off the invitations. Back in Cinderella’s household, Cinderella was doing as told. Washing and cleaning the house, when knocking were heard’ Onew narrated.

The curtains opened, showing the living room. Boa went to the front door and opened it.

‘Open in the name of the King. An urgent message from his Imperial Majesty.’ The Duke said and left

Nana and the step sister entered the stage.

‘A Letter just arrived from the palace.’ Cinderella said as she handed the letter to the step mother.

‘Form the palace?!’ the step sister gasped

‘I’ll read it.’ The step mother said ‘Well! There’s a ball. In honor of his highness the prince and by royal command every eligible maiden is to attend’

through out the whole reading, the step sister was squealing in joy.

‘That means I can go too!’ Cinderella exclaimed happily

‘Ha! Her. Dancing with the prince?!’ the stepsister mocked

‘well, why not? after all I'm still a member of the family. And it says by royal command every eligible maiden is to attend.’ Cinderella said

‘Yes so it does. Well I see no reason why you can't go, if you get all your work done.’ The step mother said ‘And there are so many chores to be done, so I won’t think you’ll be able to attend.’              

 ‘Oh…okay Stepmother ‘ Cinderella said sadly                                                     

The curtain closed.

‘The night came as it was the night of the ball. Sadly Cinderella bid her step mother and sister as they left to the ball whilst she was left behind to clean the house.’ Onew said

The curtains reopened. A scene of Boa sitting in the garden crying.

‘Oh how I wish I could go to the ball’ Cinderella sobbed

‘While Cinderella is crying in tears of sadness, a fairy appeared’ Onew narrated

Jungah as the fairy godmother entered the stage, trying to hide her scowl face and force a smile.

‘Now now Dear. Stop those tears, smiles are what make you most beautiful’ the fairy godmother said

‘Oh my! Who are you?!’ Cinderella asked surprised.

Jungah controlled herself from rolling her eyes and continue to smile against her will ‘I am your fairy godmother, Beautiful Cinderella, I am here to help you go to the palace tonight.’ She said

 ‘The fairy godmother moved her magic wand, chanting magical words and turned Cinderella’s ragged clothes into a beautiful dress. On her feet were shinning glass slippers and waiting before her was a golden coach with majestic white horses.’ Onew narrated

‘Oh what beautiful dress this is! I love these slippers! Such wonderful horses and what lovely coach.!’ Cinderella exclaimed in awe.

‘Now, now, now just a moment. You must understand my dear. On the of twelve the spell will be broken and everything will be as it was before.’ The fairy godmother said

‘Oh thank you so much! This is so much that I could ask for!’ Cinderella said gratefully.

‘Goodness me! It's getting late! Hurry up dear. The ball can't wait. Have a good time.’ The fairy Godmother said making Cinderella get into the coach.

The curtains closed.

‘At the ball the prince was bombarded by many maidens, but none of them had caught his eyes or even his interest. That is…until Cinderella had made her entrance. Many of them were stunned by her beauty. The prince didn’t hesitate to ask Cinderella for a dance. The stepsister fumed in anger and envied the lucky girl who got to dance with the prince while the step mother was glaring unhappily at the girl’ Onew narrated.

The curtains opened, viewing the ballroom, filled with many dancers but the spotlight was focused on Taemin the prince and Boa as Cinderella. Both were dancing closely.

‘You look very handsome Taemin Oppa’ Boa whispered to Taemin.

Taemin smiled ‘and your very beautiful Boa-ah’ he whispered back to her.

 However inside, Taemin felt uncomfortable…by the closeness.

‘The magical moment for the Prince and Cinderella came to an end as the sound of the clock stacked 12. ‘ Onew narrated.

‘Oh! I must go! Thank for the dance!’ Cinderella said quickly as she turned to run.

‘Please don’t go!’ The prince shouted ‘What is your name?!’

‘Unknown to her she had lost one of the glass slipper’ Onew narrated

The curtains closed as it was the end of the scene.

-Back Stage-

- Chunji Pov-

I smirked as the scene came to an end…it was now time to put the plan in action. Boa came back behind the stage and went immediately to the changing room, on queue I saw Jonghyun walking pass the door and locked it. Jonghyun looked at me and smirked, giving me a thumbs up.

I went to Key and Kahi who were waiting near the toilets, way at the back of the stage.

‘Okay, guys. Time to get the real Princess up.’ I said smirking

Key grinned ‘hahaha once again Chunji. You’re a genius.’ He said

‘I’ll go get our princess~’ Kahi said cheerfully.

- Your Pov-

As far as I was concern, the play was going very well. It was all just 2 more scenes left.

‘Everyone get ready for the ending’ I whispered to the instrumental group.

They nod with a proud smile, they should be proud, they all had been working really hard.

‘PSh! Byul! Byul!’ I heard a voice whispering my name.

I turned looking around for the source, only to find that it was Kahi peeking out from the corner of the stage…Confused I went the back way to the backstage.

‘Kahi Unni, is there something wrong?’ I asked

Kahi frowned and nod ‘Neh, that B**** had wondered off somewhere, and no one could find her.’ She said

I was starting to worry, not much for Boa but more for the play’s sake. ‘Maybe she had gone to the toilets’ I said

‘Well Uee had gone and checked there already as well, but she’s not there. Aishi that B**** is really messing everything up.’ Kahi said annoyed

‘Well is there a sub that can take her place out there?, Maybe you can get one of the extras’ I said

Kahi thought for a moment before a large grin came on to her face…one that scared me a little.

‘You’ll go!’ He declared

My mouth dropped opened ‘WHAT?!’ I couldn’t help but to accidently shouted out.

Kahi continue to grin ‘Yeah! That’s a good idea. Now C’mon! You have to get changed and I need to do your make up!’ she said.

With no words of justice or choice, I was being dragged to the toilets…where I saw a grinning Key there with a dress in his hands.

‘This will be fun!’ Key said happily.

‘Wait don’t I get a say in this?!’ I stated panicking

‘No.’ Both Key and Kahi stated

-3^rd Person Pov-

-Stage- -Play-

‘The king had heard the news of the beautiful girl who had captured his son’s heart but had left the ball without being identified.’ Onew narrated

‘Your Majesty I see no point in beating about the bush. I regret to inform you sire that the young lady has disappeared leaving behind only this glass slipper. ‘ The duke said

‘Well that won’t do. This time shall I hold an event for all princesses from this country to attend?’ the king suggested 

 ‘But Sire he loves her. He won't rest till he finds her. He's determined to marry her.’ The duke said    

‘What? What did you say?’ the king questioned                                                  

‘The prince, Sire, swears he'll marry none but the girl who fits this slipper.’ The Duke said

 ‘Well then, You'll try this on every maid in my kingdom! And if the shoe fits bring her in.’ The king ordered

‘Yes, Your Majesty.’ The Duke bowed and left.

Curtain closes.

- Back Stage-

-Your Pov-

‘Guys…I really don’t think this is a good idea.’ I said

Kahi and Uee had forced me to wear the costume…and here I am now waiting behind the back curtains.

‘What do you mean? You look so pretty!’ Nana squealed

I let out a stressed sigh ‘I don’t know the lines and plus what am I suppose to do if Boa gets back and sees that I am playing her role.’ I said

‘Byul, what did I say about being selfish…’ Key state giving me a warning look.

‘Well there’s not changing it now, it’s too late anyway.’ Minho said ‘the next scene is coming up soon.’

-Taemin Pov-

The next scene was going to be the final scene…but for some reason I couldn’t find Boa anywhere…but what caught my attention was seeing Noonas and Hyungs crowding on the stage…beside Jonghyun who wasn’t there.

‘Has anyone seen Boa-ah?’ I asked walking towards them

But I came to a stop and stared wide eyed at the person in the center on the crowd.

‘B-Byul!?’ I exclaimed surprised

‘Boa had wondered off somewhere and we couldn’t find her. So in this situation we called Byul to take the role of Cinderella’ Chunji explained

I continued to stare at Byul who was dressed in her costume…it wasn’t no lie that she looked really pretty maybe even more then that.

‘W-Wait so you guys can’t find Boa-ah anywhere?’ I questioned

They all nod ‘Yeah, she just wondered off somewhere like Chunji said. We’ve searched everywhere for her but we couldn’t find her.’ Jungah said

‘You don’t mind right Taemin?’ L.joe said looking at me

I gave him a questioning look ‘Of course not…why would i?’ I said

‘Oh well we all thought you might be upset and all since you’ve love to do the kissing scene with Boa.’ L.Joe stated

That’s when it hit me…I had completely forgotten about the kissing scene! But wait! Was I hearing this right?!

‘K-Kissing…S-Scene with B-byul?!” I stuttered in shock

I glanced at Byul to see that she also was shocked.

‘WHAT?!’ Byul shouted ‘No No! I am not doing that. NO! Must find Boa at all cost!’

Before Byul could run off to find Boa, Everyone had held her back.

‘It’s too late now. The scene is starting now.’ Minho said smiling

‘Well, c’mon! let’s get off the stage, before the curtains open. Luck Byul!’ L.Joe said

I was being dragged back by Key, but my eyes never stopped looking at Byul who was left gapping standing on the stage with the step sister and Nana.

-Jonghyun Pov-

I sat grinning in front of dressing room door that was lock and held the evil B**** behind it. She was screaming, shouting and banging on the door for someone to open it, but everything that was going on around was too loud to even hear any of it.

‘Scream all you want B****, your not getting out anytime soon.’ I thought smirking

-Taemin Pov-

I watched as the play continued from the side, feeling nervous more then ever. Why now did I suddenly felt nervous? Maybe it was because I was going to kiss Byul any moment right now. But you know what’s the funny thing was? Why was it that the thought of kissing Byul didn’t bother me like it did with Boa? Instead, I was anticipating it…

My eyes widen ‘WHY WOULD I WANT TO KISS BYUL?!’ my mind screamed ‘I have Boa! I should be wanting to Kiss her!’

-3^rd Person-

-Stage-Play-

‘The Next Day, the Duke and Prince began their search for the mysterious maiden who had danced with the Prince. But no luck had came to them yet and now they had reach the final house.’ Onew narrated with a big smile.

The curtains opened Nana, the step sister, Duke and Taemin were on the stage.

‘It is upon this day decreed that a quest be instituted throughout the length and breath of our domain the sole and express purpose of said quest to be as follows to wit. That every single maiden in our beloved kingdom without privilege or exception shall try upon her foot this aforementioned slipper of glass and should one be found upon whose foot said slipper shall properly fit--- ‘ The Duke read the pledge but was puffin from tiredness of  his long journey

 ‘You must be quite fatigued Your Grace. May we offer you some tea?’ the step mother asked

 ‘Ah no thank you. We must proceed’ the duke said as he got the slipper out of the bo           

‘There! I knew it was my slipper. Exactly my size. I always wear the same size. As soon as I saw it ‘ the stepsister said seeing the slipper

‘However, the slipper did not fit on to the step sister’s feet’ Onew narrated      

‘Young man, are you sure you're trying it on the right foot?’ the step mother questioned the Duke

‘Oh it's in the right foot but it must have shrunk or something. A glass shoe isn't always reliable.’ The step sister said unhappily.

‘Sorry but as it can be seen that, that the slipper doesn’t seem to fit you’ the Duke said

Taemin let out a sigh of relief as being said in the script.

‘You are the only ladies of the household, I hope---, uh, I presume.’ The duke said

Now it was Byul’s queue to enter the stage.

‘Cinderella who was not knowing of the event, had gone in to clean the room as usual.’ Onew narrated with a big smile

‘Oh and who is this lady may be?’ the Duke questioned

Byul didn’t know what to say or do since she was never given the script to learn of. Taemin could see this and couldn’t help but to smile, to him Byul looked adorable clueless and blank.

‘Oh she is just the maid of this house’ the stepmother said ‘ pay no attention to her. ‘   

‘Madam my orders are to let every maiden try on this slipper’ the duke said before looking at Cinderella ’Come my child.’

‘But as the duke came to put on the slipper for Cinderella, he had accidently tripped and broke the slipper into pieces’ Onew Narrated.                                                                                                               

‘No, no, nothing can help now.’ The duke cried

Taemin acted out a sadden look. Byul who only knew the next line, got out the other slipper out of her pocket.

‘But you see. I have the other slipper.’ Cinderella said

‘Everyone was shocked and surprised to see that the other slipper was in Cinderella’s hand’ Onew narrated

Taemin smiled ‘You are the one I’ve been looking for!’ he said happily acting out his role ‘what is your name?’

Byul bowed ‘My name Is Cinderella’ she answered

 ‘C-cinderella, You are my princess.’ The Prince said

‘The Prince and Cinderella shared their first kiss….’ Onew narrated as he grinned wider watching Byul and Taemin.

On the side of the stage, Uee, Jungah, Kahi, Jonghyun, Minho, L.Joe, Chunji and Key all stood watching in excitement.

-Taemin Pov-

I swallowed nervously before saying my last line ‘C-cinderella, You are my princess.’ I said trying not to stutter

‘The Prince and Cinderella shared their first kiss….’ Onew narrated

I nervously close the distance between our faces, my arms wrapped themselves around her waist pulling her in towards me slowly.

Why am I so nervous?!

-Your Pov-

I knew i was enjoying this, but I shouldn’t be…the thought of kissing a guy who had already has a girlfriend isn’t right. But my heart was pounding loudly against my chest and my mind was blank. All I could do was just stare into Taemin’s eyes, as his face got closer to mine.

-Nana Pov-

I stood on the side next to the step sister and the duke who were all anticipated the kiss that will happen in front of us...I was getting irritated by the slowness of how the kiss was processing. Byul was blanked out and Taemin was too nervous. Being the Noona and Unni of my two Donsaeng my hand flashed out quickly and gave Taemin a quick but rough push, making him jerk forward and their lips meet.

Not exactly how their first suppose to be…but hey at least it was to each other.

I smiled widely mentally.

-Taemin Pov-

I was suddenly pushed forward and my lips meet with Byul’s. My eyes widened in shock as well as Byul were also…but my shock wasn’t from the sudden kiss but rather…it was the unknowing feeling that was building up strongly in my chest.

‘Yah, you two act better!’ I heard Nana whispered to me

Realizing that it must of looked funny, how our lips were connected but our eyes were staring at each other’s wide open…so I closed my eyes…my arms that were still around Byul’s waist pulled her closer to me if that was even possible since we our body were already against each other. But my next action surprised me, I uncontrollably deepened the kiss…WHY WAS I DOING THIS?!

Even when my mind was screaming at my actions, somewhere inside it felt right. Somehow it didn’t make me feel uncomfortable or dislike it…rather…I was enjoying this. I was liking Byul’s lips on mine.

‘And they Lived happily ever after!’ Onew narrated

Loud sounds of clapping and cheering were heard, but my mind paid no attention to it.

‘Yah! You both can stop now!’ Nana once again whispered

I snapped out of my thoughts and pulled away, breaking the kiss. I stared in a daze at Byul who’s face was pink, she turned away avoiding my glaze…cute.

We bowed and the curtain closed.

‘Great job everybody!’ the teacher shouted happily.

‘Yah, yah did you enjoy it that much that you can’t even get rid of that creepy smile?’ Chunji teased me

My face flushed pink as I looked away avoiding facing Chunji, which caused him to laugh

‘Never knew my innocent cousin was such a player ‘ Chunji said continuing to laugh

I frowned ‘What do you mean Taeminnie is a player?’ I questioned

‘It means you already have a girlfriend yet you kissed another girl that isn’t your girlfriend’ Jonghyun said smirking

My eyes widen…BOA! I had forgotten about her!

‘B-Boa-ah still hasn’t returned yet?’ I questioned looking around in slight concern.

‘Something must of came up or just had other things to do’ Jonghyun said shrugging his shoulders

That’s true she could of gone somewhere with her friends, though that matter didn’t seems to be on my mind or the least on my priority . Right now… my thoughts were filled with only one person and the smile on my face wouldn’t leave.

‘Byul~ Are you okay? Your spacing out.’ Kahi said patting Byul on the head ‘You did a great job.’

Byul let out a sigh ‘What am I suppose to do now? Boa will definitely kill me’ she said

I smiled ‘she wouldn’t since it was just apart of the play and we were only acting’ I said, completely having my whole attention on Byul.

Byul’s expression went blank ‘I’m having a timeout.’ She said, leaving.

I had a confused face on…did something happened to her?

‘Byul~ are you going to your secret hideout?! I wanna come!’ Chunji shouted chasing after

My eyes widen ‘ TAEMINNIE IS COMING TOO!!’ I exclaimed

Before I could follow, Jonghyun and Key had held me back, while as L.Joe had tackled Chunji down…thank goodness for that.

‘YAH! WHY THE F*** DID YOU TACKLE ME?!’ Chunji shouted

L.Joe grinned ‘Your not suppose to be chasing after her.’ He said

‘Yah, Taemin your really insensitive you know that?’ Minho said

Nana nodded agreeing with Minho ‘That was Byul’s first kiss, Yet you even said it was nothing?’ she added and shook her head ‘Your really insensitive.’

‘I’m Byul’s first kiss?!’ My mind screamed

Though I couldn’t be happier…I smiled, I was hers first and she was mine’s…that didn’t bother me at all.

‘Taeminnie is going to find Byul~’ I said happily leaving.

- 3^rd Person Pov-

‘Aishi, that boy honestly…’ Jungah said shaking her head

‘Hey…I just remembered something…’ Onew said

Everyone looked at him

‘I remembered something, it seems like we’ve forgotten something…’ Onew said clueless

Everyone face palmed ‘That doesn’t even make sense!’ Key said

‘I don’t think we did…’ Kahi said thinking for a moment and shook her head ‘Nah, we didn’t. C’mon let’s go and get something to eat.’

‘Yeah, I’m starving.’ Uee said agreeing

The royals all left heading to the cafeteria….unknown to them…Onew was indeed right, they had forgotten something…well more like someone.

-Dressing Room-

‘YAH! SOMEONE GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!!!’ Boa shouted banging on the door.
