'We're gathered here today to discuss a very important matter' The Head Queen of Korea spoke

In the meeting room sat 7 other royal families of Korea and a Butler

‘The Noon Royal family as you all have heard are deceased, their only daughter Noon Ki Byul is the only hire next in line to be crowned as Queen' the Head Queen said

'Ah, she's a very responsible girl I’ve heard, looking after her people and village at a very young age' praised Mrs. Lee

'Truly admirable and worth praising indeed' added Mrs. Im agreeing with Mrs. Lee

'Yes, yes she is. But, like other royals she needs to be qualified just like the rest of the others,' the Head Queen said ' She will be attending Royal Golden Academy and will get qualifications just as the others are.'

The Butler tensed ' Your highness...I’m afraid there may be a problem though... Princess Noon Ki Byul, she won't agree to those terms' the Butler said bowing

The Head Queen nod in understanding

'Yes, that thought had passed my mind. You will inform her, that it was her Mother and Father who had wish for her to do so. It was their dying wish; this was the reason why I had allowed her to be titled still as a royal after they have deceased. If she disagrees with my terms, I will strip away her title of royal. So it is her decision' The Head Queen said

The Butler had no say but to only agree 'Yes, your highness'

- Your Pov-

'UNNI!'

'UNNI!'

'UNNI!'

I heard many voices of the little children, I smiled and stopped working. I was currently helping the farmers, harvesting and planting more crops.

'Hmm? Is there something you need?' I asked smiling at the children

'Unni! It’s break time!' said a little girl smiling

'Unni! We brought everyone lunch!' said another girl happily.

One of the girls handed me a basket as the other children went to also give their fathers lunch.

'OMO! Thank you so much! Please thank your Umma for Unni' I said grinning

'Neh!' the girl replied also grinning

I patted her on the head ' Have you eaten yet? Would you like to eat with Unni?' I asked

She smiled widely and nods her head. She sat down with me as we shared the basket of food.

'HMMMMM~ Your Umma is the best as always!' I exclaimed happily, stuffing more of the food into my mouth.

'Phahaha whoa slow down there Byul, no one's gonna steal your food' laughed one of the farmer

'Noona is such a pig' laughed a little boy

I faked an angry look ' Yah! You little brat! Say that again!' I said angrily as I bonked the boy's head softly

The boy pouted but then burst out laughed along with everyone else. I smiled, liking how everyone was happy and enjoying themselves after doing hard fieldwork. After the break more work was to be finished till it was about 5 in the afternoon, we all bid each other good byes and good nights. I walked through the village doing a few rounds of patrolling, many of the people who were still out and around greeted and bid me a good day.

Feeling that the village was perfectly fine, I headed to my own home. My home was a Mansion on top of a Hill, which had the whole view of the village and the forest that surrounded us.

'I'm Home~' I called out loudly as I entered

The maids and butlers came to greet me. My parents and as well as all of my other blood relatives were deceased, but that didn't mean I had no family. Nope, the villagers and the maids and butlers are my family.

'Byul, your home, Dinner will be served soon' said one of my maids

'Go have a quick bath and change into clean clothes. Your work today must of being really tiring' said another maid

I smiled and nod ' Neh~, Please tell everyone else to join for dinner as well' I said

They nod and left doing as I’ve told. Yes, for every meal I have, I eat them with the maids and butlers after all it feels better to enjoy meals with some company instead of eating alone right?

I quickly bathed and changed before joining everyone eating dinner, as always they've asked how my day was and we all continue to talk about other random things. After eating I helped with the dishes before bidding everyone a good night and went to my room.

'AH~ today's was another successful and great day!' I said falling onto my bed.

I rolled around on the bed

'hmm I wonder when Mr. Sol will be back…' I said to myself

Mr. Sol was my main guardian and butler, his job was to attend all-important meetings with the other royals or just any kind of meetings that are not in the area.

' He left 2 days ago, so he should be back by tonight.' I said to myself

I sat up from my bed

'and the trip is really long...maybe I should go down and prepare some food for him, in case he hasn't eaten yet…' I thought

I went along with that thought and went back to the kitchen again. There was no one around, so I guess everyone must have gone to their rooms already, but just as I was walking down the stairs, the front door opened.

I smiled ' Welcome Home Mr. Sol' I greeted happily

'Ah, Its good to be back Byul' he said

I smiled as I gave him a hug

'Have you eaten yet?' I asked

'Neh, I am fine, but we have a more important matter to discuss' he said

I could see the seriousness in his eyes. We both headed to the living room.

'So what was the meeting about?' I asked

'The head Queen had inform me, that you have to be attending Golden Royal Academy' he said straight to the point

I stared blankly at him for a moment before it processed into my head

'Ww-what?' I questioned

'You have to attend the academy in order to be qualified as a royal...if you do not do this...then' he paused in hesitation to continue ' then your title as a royal will be stripped away from you'

My eyes widened ' WHAT?!' I exclaimed surprised

'That is what the Queen had said... and nothing can change that. The Queen is allowing you to have 3 days to decide.' he said

WHY IN THE WORLD DID THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN?! I was feeling pressured and a whole weight of stress because I didn't know what to do, I didn't want to leave the village it is my home after all.

'Byul, it is up to you whatever your decision is. I know this is a very stressful matter but please keep in mind that everyone here is willing to support you. ' Mr. Sol said ' Now, it is getting late. go and have your rest'

He left the room while I sat in my place. I was having mixed feelings right now...Anger because I had no choice, Worried how would the villagers react to this,  Stress cause I can't make up my mind and most of all sad leaving the village was something that never crossed my mind and if I was to stay that would mean I wouldn't be a princess no more...what would they think!

'ARH! This is too complicated!' I said irritated

But for now...I should just enjoy my time with the villagers’ right?. I head back to my room to sleep.

- 3 Days Later-

3 days flew by like it was a sneeze, I was dreaded and was not feeling the best like I would be every time I woke up.

'Today's the day huh?' I muttered to myself

'Byul...breakfast is done' a maid came in to tell me

I nod and sat up, seeing how I didn't look well the maid got worried

'Byul are you feeling sick or unwell anywhere? How about I call a doctor to come and do a checkup?' she said full of worries

I smiled sadly, nowhere in this world would anyone or place will care and worry for me like here.

'No, I’m fine. Sorry for worrying you' I said

She nod hesitated and left to return to her duties. I slowly got out of bed

' Phahaha maybe I might be able to slow down time if I did this...nah, it would just be a waste of time really.' I joked mentally

I finished getting ready and head to the dinner table where everyone was sitting, waiting for me to join.

' Morning everyone' I said as I sat down

'Good morning Byul' they all replied smiling

Nowhere else would make me feel warm like this.

After finishing dinner, it was time to do my rounds in the village.

' I'm Off!' I said loudly as I always do

'Be safe and work hard!' was the reply I would always get

I walked through the village and would be greeted by everyone and the kids.

'Good Morning Byul!'

'Here! Have some apple pie I’ve made! Just for you!'

'HI~ UNNI!'

'Unni can you play with us today?!'

'Byul, want to join us to go out hunting?'

'Morning!'

'You’re looking beautiful as always Byul!'

Nowhere would ever make me feel at a home like here.

 I force out a grin and greeted everyone in return, deeply inside I was pained and filled with sadness.

' Neh, Unni will play with you all' I said happily.

' I really wish... time would slow down and freeze' I thought

- 3rd Person Pov -

Byul went with the kids to play with them as she had said, when she was out of sight, the smiles of the villagers turned to sadness. Yes, they've heard of the news, Mr. Sol had told them so they could get the heads up of today.

They all knew of course that this was hard on Byul, They knew of what kind of princess they had. She wouldn't ever abandon her people...her families to be exact.

The fact that the princess had lost her family when she was 4 didn't mean that she was alone in this big world... no. The villagers were her family as well as all of the workers in the mansion, they all loved her as if she was their own child, they had their time, chances to raise, and taught her.

' We've all decided already right?'

'Neh'

- That Afternoon-

- Your Pov-

I returned to the mansion after a day of playing with the kids. Outside of the mansion was all of the maid and butlers also a jet plane.

'Byul, its time for your answer' Mr. Sol said

I glazed down at the ground, unsure of my decision

'Byul, what is your decision' He asked again

I open my mouth hesitated

'YAH! YOU HAVE TO ACCEPT!' a voice shouted

I was startled by the sudden shout, turning around I found the whole village behind me. My eyes widen from shock.

'Y-you all knew about it?' I said

They all nod. The children ran out and surrounded me

'UNNI! You have to go!'

'Yea! Noona!’

' We want you to be our Princess!'

' Unni Has to go and come back!'

' I don't want someone else to be princess!'

The kids all shouted

'Going to the academy won't take that long, so we expect you to come back still as our princess'

'We want you to go because we know you will come back'

' SO make us proud Byul!'

Nowhere would be like a family to me compare to here. Because... They. Are. My. Family.

' If this is what everyone wishes...then' I started

I smiled a whole heartedly smile

 'Always please put your faith and belief in me. '

'So when I come back.'

 'I'll be your princess'

'A Princess that you all can rely on'

'A Princess that you all will be proud of'

Tears of sadness because of departure but also joy because I have a reason to go and it was for them. I wiped my tears furiously...I seriously can't cry like this in front of them.

'YAH! WE'RE MEANT TO DEPART COOLY!'

I stopped wiping my eyes and look back at everyone, everyone was crying from sadness of the departure.

'W-WHY DID YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT SO SAD FOR?!'

'BE SAFE!'

'MAKE SURE YOU EAT WELL!'

'YOU HAVE TO LOOK AFTER YOURSELF WELL!'

'IF ANYONE MESSES WITH YOU, MAKE SURE YOU BREAK THEIR BONES'

I laughed at that

' Byul its time to go' Mr. Sol said

I smiled and nod ' I'M OFF EVERYONE' I shouted out happily

' GOOD LUCK AND BE SAFE!' they all shouted

I got onto the jet.

' I'll miss you all' I thought

- Royal Golden Academy-

Royal Golden Academy, the world's finest and richest Academy. Naturally it is only for Royals but wealthy and high status Students are also accepted, there are only rare cases such as a scholarship would be given to Commoners.

- 3rd Person Pov -

'Princess Noon Ki Byul will be arriving today' the head Queen said ' I hope all of the requirements I had asked for is done'

'Neh your highness, everything you had requested for is all being set up and done. We will be waiting for the new Princess's arrival' the Headmaster of Royal Golden Academy said

The Queen nod in approval and pleased ' good, please look after her well' the Queen said before leaving

'Neh, your highness' the Headmaster said and bowed

- Royal Dorm-

'Aishi Stop eating chicken Hyung!' Key scolded at the chicken manic Onew

' You should of known better than to even say that' Minho said without looking away from the book he is currently reading

'Chicken is his life after all ' Jonghyun added

Onew is the oldest amongst the guys in the royal dorm but his personally completely contrasts his age and aside from that...He life is revolved around chickens.

' And where is Taemin?! Seriously that son of mine!' Key said

' Isn't he always with that B****?' Nana asked

Key rolled his eyes ' would it really hurt anyone to pretend that it's not the B**** who his with' Key said irritated

The B**** that Key and Nana was referring to is...Dong Boa, a noble and is a lifetime crush of Taemin.

'Well you can't blame Taemin she is hot' Jonghyun said with a smirk

Jonghyun is the academy's number 1 Playboy and flirt, if math is needed to be done he had already dated 98% of the academy's population of girls, none of his relationship last more than 4 days because as a play boy he gets bored easily.

Key gave Jonghyun a disgusted look so did the others

 ' really? apparently her B****y personally overtakes her hotness' key said bitterly

Key is what everyone would call him the 'Umma' of the royal dorm and also a Nagger as well.

' I agree with Key, no matter how a person may seem, their personality overtakes most of them' Minho said

Minho is properly the most mature male in the Royal dorm and also the most collected and calm.

' What does he see in her?' Jungah asked

'Well love is blind after all ' Nana said

Nana is Minho's girlfriend and is the royal dorm's second Umma.

Jungah is Onew's Girlfriend, one that can only handle his love for chicken.

Ding Ding Ding~

That sound indicates a message is being announced through the speakers

All Royals Please report to the Headmaster's Office

The guys all look at each other

'YAH! JONGHYUN! YOU DIDN'T FLIRT WITH A TEACHER AGAIN DIDN’T YOU?!' Key shouted as he grabbed Jonghyun by the collar

'I SWEAR I DIDN'T!' Jonghyun shouted scared of Key's Evil atmosphere

'If it's not that...then…' Jungah looks at Onew 'YOU DIDN'T STEAL CHICKEN FROM THE FOOD STORAGE AGAIN, DID YOU?!' She shouted

'W-WHAT?! OF CORSE NOT!" Onew shouted defending himself

Minho sigh and shook his head ' Let’s go and find out then' Minho said

- Headmaster Office-

All of the royals came into the Headmaster's Office...well all excluding Taemin.

'Hmm? where is Mr. Lee Taemin?' the head master asked

'Oh...his off to the restroom sir' Key lied smoothly

' Well you can just pass this onto him then' the head master said ' Tonight, a new princess will be attending the academy'

The guys and girls didn't hid that fact that they were surprised.

'A new royal? And now to? That's a bit late isn't it?' Nana questioned

'yes, but her reason is approved, so I want you all to take good care of her' the head master continued

'Neh' everyone answered

'Good that is all, you may leave' the headmaster said

- Your Pov-

8 Hours of flight without knowing how to use anything in the jet was absolutely HELL! I have never thought that I would miss and love land so much in my whole life! As I exited the jet a lady was already there to greet me

She smiled and bow ' Welcome Miss Noon Ki Byul to Royal Golden Academy, I hope your flight had being good' she said

I just gave a smile to hide the truth...of my sad sad flight ' Neh...at some points' I said the last part more to myself

' Well, first off, I'll take you to the headmaster's office' she said leading the way.

The academy was huge...well...it had an island of its own and the only thing that still connects it to Korea is a bridge. The academy in the center of the island, around it was either by the tropical beaches or the woods. Can't image that on the world map can you?

The whole place was damn perfection, it was like a painted picture or a fantasy. Every corner and cm was greatly decorated or looked absolutely perfect. And that was only the outside...

' This is the Academy. All lessons and classes are all held in here' the lady said stopping in front of a very large building

We entered the building, Inside of the academy was beyond any imagination. The floors, walls, and pillar were made from pure marble, which looked, brand new and polished, it was well furnished and yet it was only the hallway...

' It's beautiful isn't it?' the lady asked me

I smiled and nod ' Neh, very' I answered

She smiled proudly ' And that’s just our facilities quality assurance' she said happily

I continue to follow her until we've reach another large double door. The lady knocked and waited for permission to enter.

'Come in' answered the head master's voice

She opened the door for me to enter

'Headmaster, our new Royal has arrived' she said politely

the headmaster nod and told her to wait outside

'Welcome to Royal Golden Academy' he said smiling

'Thank you Sir' I said bowing

' All of your needs are already arranged in your room, which the lady of your assistance will show you where you'll be staying later.' he explained

I nod

' and here is your timetable, Locker and room keys' he said as he handed me each item

'Ah, thank you' I said

He gave me a bright smile ' if there is any problem or anything at all you need please feel free to inform me or any of the working staffs' he said

I nod and thanked him again before leaving the room.

'I shall show you where you'll be staying' the lady said leading the way once again

We were back outside and walked on a different path.

' Royals have their own separate dorms from other students, the dorm is located to the west of the academy' the lady said

We stopped in front of another building and it was huge...well not compare to the academy but still...it was big.

' A lot of other royals must be here' I commented

'there are 7 royals in the dorm, 8 including you to Miss Byul' the lady said

my mouth dropped 'ONLY 7 PEOPLE YET THIS WHOLE DAMN BUILDING IS FOR THEM?!' I mentally screamed

the lady laughed softly seeing my expression 'Our royals do get the best and finest ' she said

She starts walking again but it wasn't towards the dorm but around it, which confused me.

' Um...aren't we going to go in?' I asked

She stopped and smiled ' there was a special request for You Miss Noon, from the Queen herself' she explained

I nod and continue to follow her, we were now behind the Royal Dorm and stopped in front of a magnificent tree house. It wasn't too big and wasn't too small, it was perfect.

'It was personally built for you  Miss Noon, do you like it?' she asked me

'OMO! WE HAVE TO CHECK THE INSIDE OUT!' I shouted excited.

The lady chuckled and was satisfied with my reaction.

'before that though, there is also somewhere else I want to show you' the lady said

' I guess my house tour could wait' I joked and followed her

She walked through the woods and about 10 minutes of walking we came to a stop in front of what seemed like a greenhouse. I gasped at the sight, after all it was beautiful, and the walls of it were made from see through glass. Inside there was a white grand Piano, at the back of one wall was a whole shelf of books, there were also other numerous instruments, which were all new.

'This...This place is your own little secret hid out' the lady said

'WHAT?!" I shouted in shock ' R-Really?!'

She smiled and nods ' the Queen had said that you enjoy some peaceful time alone and that you love traditional music. So this place was built for you and only you, no one knows of this but for me and the head master' the lady said

I squealed in joy and gave the lady a hug of thanks

'THANK YOU SO MUCH!' I shouted in pure happiness

the lady laughed and patted me on the head

' Well, that is all I have to show you. If there is any other needs you have feel free to ask me' she said

I nod and thanked her once more before she left.

'This wouldn't be too bad' I thought to myself

I made my way back to the Tree house and opened the door. The first room I was in was the living room, next to that room was a mini kitchen, and I went up the stairs to find that the first floor was the bedroom and a bathroom.

'First day so far is great!...well minus the flight' I said happily

I went back to the kitchen to have a little snack

'I should also pay a visit to the other royals too huh?' I asked myself

Deciding that I would do that, I headed towards to the royal dorm. I started to feel a little nervous to meet other royals.

'just introduce yourself and ta dah! you have friends!' I mentally encourage myself

I took out the royal dorm's key and unlocked the door

'Here goes nothing…' I whispered to myself

I pushed open the door...

- Taemin Pov -

' So Tired....' I whined

Today's lesson in sport, we had to do 5 laps around the whole island!  WHY WOULD THEY MAKE US DO SUCH THINGS! My whole body was saw and aching so I wasn't really in my best mood. I went to the kitchen to get some Banana Milk but on the way back to the living room, the front door suddenly was opened and there stood a girl...

'OMG! A FANGIRL JUST BROKE INTO OUR DORM!' I mentally shouted in panic.

'Yah! You’re not supposed to be here!' I stated ' and you can't just break in like that!'

The girl didn't say anything only to have a startled look, I guess I was correct then

' You Fan girls have to know your limits! and privacy!' I added

Fan girls these days are really getting more and more crazy and out of control. You would have thought that they are more well mannered because this is an elite academy But...YOU ARE SO WRONG!.

' So you better leave now, or Taeminnie is going to report you!' I threatened crossing my arms

'Is it really a crime when I have the keys to this dorm?' the girl said showing me the keys

OH MY GOSH! SHE STOLE THOSE! NOW THAT’S GOING TOO FAR! I was disgusted.

'Yah! Did you stole those from the headmaster?! I'm going to report you to the police!' I said

the girl frowned 'Hey, don't assume things just like that' she said

'Assume? No, Taeminnie knows that you’re a crazy fan girl!' I said starting to get annoyed

She then glared at me, which surprised me

'You don't even know me or even hear what I have to say yet, and your already concluding things on your own. Talk about being rude' She said annoyed

I gasped because never had a girl talked to me like that.

'Well so much for first impressions...' she said more to herself 'ah screw it'

She left and closed the door....What the heck just happened?!

' What was the problem down here?' Jonghyun asked, coming down from the stairs with the others also coming down

'There was a fan girl!' I said

Yes, I still do believe that she was a fan girl

'Really? A fan girl!' Jungah said not surprised

I nod ' yea, and she even stole our dorm's key and got in!' I explained

This made them all froze

' I know right! The fan girls are crazy!' I said

'Wait...Taemin...did you ask what was her name?' Minho asked

I gave him a weird look ' Why would I ask for her name?' I said

'So what happened?!' Nana asked looking a little worried

'Taeminnie threatened her to leave...but she seem to of left on her own after scolding me' I said a little annoyed that the girl scolded me

'! THAT GIRL COULD HAVE BEING THE NEW ROYAL!' Key exclaimed

I was now very confused at what’s happening while the others were panicking.

- Your Pov-

I opened the door to be only see that there was a guy holding a glass of milk. He had a surprised look on but before I could say anything, he bate me to it.

'Yah! You’re not supposed to be here!' He stated ' and you can't just break in like that!'

His sudden assumption surprised me

' You Fan girls have to know your limits! and privacy!' he added

Fan girls?....What? Why did he call me a fan girl?...Limits?...Privacy?...WHAT?

' So you better leave now, or Taeminnie is going to report you!' He threatened crossing his arms

HE THINKS I'M A BLOODLY ROBBER OR SOMETHING?!

'Is it really a crime when I have the keys to this dorm?' I said showing him the keys

When he saw the keys he had a look of disbelief before it was replaced with disgust

'Yah! Did you stole those from the headmaster?! I'm going to report you to the police!' he said

Why the heck is this guy, keep assuming that I’m a damn crazy fan girl! His so damn stubborn!

I frowned 'Hey, don't assume things just like that' I said

'Assume? No, Taeminnie knows that you’re a crazy fan girl!' he said annoyed

I'm fed up with his crap, I glared at him

'You don't even know me or even hear what I have to say yet, and your already concluding things on your own. Talk about being rude' I said annoyed and irritated 'Well so much for first impressions...ah screw it'

I left and closed the door. It seems like that thought that royals would of being friendly was out of line...so was the idea of having friends...

' does this mean everyone is a snob here?' I thought, I shook my head ' nah I shouldn't be like that guy...assuming things'

I went back to my tree house and went to bed...Preying that tomorrow I might have better luck of meeting people.
