After school ended, Jessica was sandwiched between Taeyeon&Yuri.

"Sica, where are you going?"
"Come back home with me, i'll take care of you" offered Yuri

"Ani, Sica's staying with me"

"Sica's staying with you?!"
"Sica, where's your house?"
"Didnt omma Jung prepare one for you before you came?!"

"Err..i.."
"She did, but i just didnt want to live there"
"For some reasons.."

"I understand, but do you wanna come with me or her?" asked Yuri, raising her eyebrow, pointing at Taeyeon

"Didnt you know its rude?!" spat Taeyeon annoyed

"Yul, Taetae, stop quarrelling please"
"My head is hurting really badly like its going to explode anytime"
"I'll just get back to where im staying now" said Jessica
"Yul, come with me okay?"
"You can stay with me in my room if Taetae doesnt want to spare you a room" added Jessica while massaging her temples.

"Ask her to come stay with us?!"
"Are you kidding me Sica?!"
"She's gonna make life miserable for me!" exclaimed Taeyeon in disbelief

"She wont, Taetae"
"Get to know her, she's nice" smiled Jessica tiredly
"If you really dont like it, i'll go for a hotel room"
"I dont want to be sandwiched in between you girls" said Jessica as she went out to the road to get a cab.

"Wait!" shouted the two of them
"WAIT!"

"Fine fine"
"I'll let her stay with us" sighed Taeyeon a little slightly
"I cant possibly let a patient wander around in a hotel all by herself!"
"With no one taking care of her!"

"Sensible thinking" commented Yuri in agreement
"I agree to what she said too"
"I'll stay in your room with you"
"I'll try to get along with Taeyeon" promised Yuri

"Great"
"Lets go then" replied Jessica as she opened the taxi door.

On the cab, it was a silence trip back home.
Jessica immediately fell asleep after boarding the taxi for a few minutes.
While Taeyeon&Yuri was separated between Jessica, who was sleeping.
They had nothing in common to talk about, so instead of finding a topic to talk about which might lead to conflicts,
they rather keep quiet.

Arriving back to Taeyeon's apartment, instead of Taeyeon,
Yuri had piggyback-ed Jessica back home into her room.
Lying her nicely on the bed, switching on the air conditioner&pulling the covers for her,
Yuri left the room to the kitchen, wanting to cook her something but saw Taeyeon already doing it.

"Err.."
"Taeyeon..?"

"Yup?"

"What are you doing?" asked Yuri awkwardly

"Cooking some porridge for Sica"
"Any idea whats her favourite?" said Taeyeon as while slicing the cucumbers

"HEY WAIT!" exclaimed Yuri in shock
"Put away the cucumbers!"
"She allergic to them!"

"Allergic?" chuckled Taeyeon as she put the cucumbers aside
"Interesting allergy"
"Araesso, i've put it aside"
"So whats her favourite porridge?"

"Oh.. er.."
"If i didnt remember wrongly, her love for abalone porridge is no joke"

"Abalone?"
"Isnt she from a normal family..?"

"Oh?"

Its already a foreign country Sica..
You didnt even tell Taeyeon your family background..
Thats just plain cool.

"I've just remembered"
"I used to bring her out for abalone porridge whenever i have the time"
"Thats when she eats it" smiled Yuri awkwardly

"Is it too expensive?"
"I can go get one for her" offered Yuri

"Ani, its fine" replied Taeyeon who went over to a cupboard&opened it.

"Omo!" exclaimed Yuri, staring the cupboard filled with cans of different abalone.

"Dont be shocked, im just a little sad to hear that abalone is her favourite too"
"Which means someone will fight it with me" giggled Taeyeon
"But nevermind, i'll get more if it finishes"

"Thanks Taeyeon"

"Anytime"
"For Sica" smirked Taeyeon playfully

Later that day, Yuri&Taeyeon went into Jessica's room to check up on her condition but sadly, it didnt get any better.

"What should we do Yuri?"
"Her fever's still high" asked Taeyeon worriedly, staring at the readings of the thermometer.

"I've got no idea"
"Maybe i should give her mum a call"
"Its always her mum taking care of her"
"But why did she even get sick?"

"Oh.. err.."
"Promise me dont scream at me or anything okay?"
"I really didnt know.."

"Err.. Okay?"

"Well, during our breaktime, she went to the toilet"
"And met with some girls of our class.."
"I think she got bullied.."
"Like locked up drenched"

"What?!" exclaimed Yuri

"You promised"

"Aish.." sighed Yuri as she picked up her phone and started tapping on it immediately.

The call,
it was on with speakers so Taeyeon could hear the conversation too.

"Its me, Yuri"

"Yuri?"
"Wow, its been a long time!"

"Erm Yuri, im quite busy right now"

I dont remember omma Jung being so nonchalent when it comes to Sica..

"Whats the conclusion now?"

"Well, you've heard her mum dont you?"

Taeyeon sighed as she shook her head sadly.

"She wasnt like this when i saw her in Korea.."

"Omma, appa can you accompany me on this ride?" asked Krystal pointing at the viking ship with a shy smile

Since we've adopted Krystal,
i think we should give her more love&attention to make her feel comfortable in the house..

After the whole amusement park outing bonding session with Krystal,
Mr Jung sent the two home before heading back to the office to clear up his work.
Before leaving, Mr Jung asked Mrs Jung again what was the call all about.

"That call was about Jessi"
"She fell sick with a high fever"
"I didnt want to mention it infront of Krystal because i thought we should shower her with more love&attention"
"Less to Jessi so that Krystal will feel more welcomed&comfortable in the house"

"High fever?!"
"Then how is she now?"

"Im not sure too, i've asked Yuri to call Tippani-sshi"

"Shouldnt you fly over to take care her or something..?" asked Mr Jung concernly.

"She's already a poor girl from the start after losing her parents to a fire accident"

"I dont know who are you, but Jessica Jung's mum asked me to call you for help"

"Jessica?!"
"How is she now?!"
"Its so great that you've finally called!"

"She's having a really high fever"
"And have been sleeping for hours, didnt even budge from her sleep"
"Could you come over&take a look at her?"
"We're worried"

"Where are you now?"

"Can you please come over to XXX?"

"Okay, help is on the way" informed Yuri to Taeyeon

15 minutes later, Tiffany had arrived at Taeyeon's apartment.

"Wow"
"Anyeong Taeyeon!" smiled Tiffany happily
"And you must be Kwon Yuri right?" asked Tiffany with her hands stretched out.

"Yup i am Yuri"
"But can you quickly go take a look at Sica instead?" asked Yuri impatiently

"Yeah, Sica needs some help" added Taeyeon

"Oh right"
"Sorry" chuckled Tiffany as she swiftly went into Jessica's room.

10 minutes later, Tiffany came out of the room.

"How's she?" asked Taeyeon&Yuri

"Woah chill girls"
"Relax" said Tiffany

"Jessi is alright for now"
"Except for the fact that her fever's far too high"
"I've given her a strong fever reducer jab, plus hanging up IV drip for her"

"I know her fever's too high"
"She's been like this ever since young" said Yuri
"Ever since she's got an asthma attack, she'll get such a high fever" added Yuri

"Hmm.."
"I've heard of it before from herself" smiled Tiffany
"You seemed close to her"
"But dont worry, she's gonna be okay" assured Tiffany

"So what should we do now?" asked Taeyeon

"Yeah what should we do now?"

"Yah, stop copying me!" exclaimed Taeyeon

"I didnt copy you!" replied Yuri

"Hey girls"
"Relax, Jessi's resting inside"
"Im sure you girls dont wanna wake her up right?"
"I know the both of you are concerned about Jessi" smiled Tiffany awkwardly while Taeyeon&Yuri glared at each other.
"Stop glaring, its not going to help"
"There's nothing much you all can do now, except to wait for the medicine to take effect"

"Oh.." chorused the two which made Tiffany broke in laughters

"I really dont know what is wrong with the two of you"
"Forever saying the same thing but scolding each other for copying" giggled Tiffany

The next morning, Jessica slowly stirred from her sleep.
Waking up to the bright sunlight which was shinning through her windows.

"Arghh.." mumbled Jessica as she massaged her head.

"Oh you're up" said Tiffany as she woke up from her sleep
"Head hurting badly right?"
"So why did you even leave?" asked Tiffany as she took Jessica's temperature

"Why are you... here..?"

"Hmm.."
"39.8 degrees celcius.." mumbled Tiffany to herself
"Still not good"
"Well, im here because someone named Yuri called me"

"Then where.. are they..?"
"Yuri&Taeyeon..?"

"Oh, i asked them to go to school"
"I'll be taking care of you here"
"For the time being" smiled Tiffany

"Its okay, you know.."
"You dont.. have to be.. here.."
"My fever.. it will go off.. in a few days.. time.."
"For now.. it will just go up..&down.." said Jessica

"Uh-uh"
"Well, its for me to decide you know that?"
"Im your doctor that has been appointed by your parents" said Tiffany as she took out her tin container of medical supplies
"By the way, i've removed your infus yesterday night"
"I know you're not aware of it at all, but im just telling you"

"I see.."
"My parents..?"
"They dont even.. have the time.. for me now.." said Jessica sadly

"Why do you think like this all the time?"
"They love you, Jessi" comforted Tiffany as she brushed Jessica's fringe away.

"You dont.. understand.."

"Araesso araesso"
"Dont think about it anymore, rest now okay?" smiled Tiffany assuringly before meddling around her tin container of medical supplies
"Here's a fever reducer jab"
"I'll be fast, dont worry it wont hurt" added Tiffany with an encouraging smile.

"Okay.." said Jessica as she closed her eyes.
"Tell me when.. you're done.."

"Done" said Tiffany

"Thanks"

"No problem"
"Now rest well okay?"
"Dont think about anything much"
"Focus on getting well first okay?"

During times like these, Mrs Jung would usually be with her.
Thats why people say, everyone will miss home&family the most when they are sick in overseas.
Sounds true for Jessica's case.

At times like these, omma will always be beside me..
But now it seems like everything's gonna change..
Yesterday..
I overheard Yuri&Taeyeon's conversation subconsciously..
It seems like omma..
Is busy with my new sister Krystal..

Oh yeah right, thats right.
Im an unfillial daughter to them..
Krystal sounds so much sweeter to them..

During the evening time, Yuri&Taeyeon came back from school together.
First thing they did when they reached home was to look for Jessica.

"Anyeong Sica-ah!"
"How are you feeling?" asked Taeyeon happily as she sat beside Jessica's bed

Walking to the other side of the bed was Yuri.
Settling herself down beside Jessica's bed, Yuri's first instinct was to feel for Jessica's fever.

"You're still having a high fever Sica.." commented Yuri

"Yup im afraid so" said Tiffany as she walked into Jessica's room
"I dont understand why her fever doesnt go off" shrugged Tiffany with her arms crossed

"Told you.. dont bother"
"It wont go.. off till.. few days later.."

"How could i?!"

"Precisly Sica, how could she?" chorused Taeyeon&Yuri

"Yah stop copying me!" snapped Taeyeon annoyed

"Obviously you're the one copying me!"
"I was supposed to say that!"

"Who are you trying to kid?!"
"I was the one taking care of Sica when you came out of nowhere"
"And took over my position!" exclaimed Taeyeon angrily

"What out of nowhere?!"
"Who do you think you're shouting at?!"
"Dont you know who am i?!" shouted Yuri angrily

"Who the hell are you?!"
"Why do i need to bother who are you?!"
"I only know that you're here to take away my position in Sica's heart!"
"Im her best friend here not you!"

"Who said you're her best friend?!"

Am i that hot wanted that the both of them want me so badly?

"OKAY!" coughed Jessica
"STOP!"

Taeyeon&Yuri was shocked at the voice they heard&turned to Jessica was a puzzled look.

"The both of.. you are.. my best friend"
"So stop.. quarrelling.. okay?"
"Its meaningless.."

"Precisely, its meaningless to continue quarrelling like this" agreed Tiffany with a soft chuckle
"We know Jessi is important to the both of you okay?"
"Give the two of you, as well as Jessi a break!"

"Yeah.."
"Forever quarrelling.."
"As if there's no day&night.." grumbled Jessica softly which earned a few giggles from Tiffany

"I heard you" winked Tiffany
"Alright now, lets all get out&let Jessi take some rest" said Tiffany as she urged Taeyeon&Yuri out of the room,
leaving Jessica alone to get some rest.
