Tiffany walked into Jessica's office worriedly,
with fast paced footsteps.

"Jessi, how are you feeling now?"

Jessica was massaging her head,
with Yuri by her side watching her with worry.

Tiffany turned to Yuri and gave her a nod.
Immediately,
Yuri scooped Jessica up and placed her on the sofa of the office,
lying down.

"This doesnt seem good" muttered Tiffany as she examined Jessica with concern.

Tiffany shook her head as she rolled Jessica's sleeve arm.
It was what Tiffany had been thinking about the whole night after Jessica's call.
Tiffany sighed.

"Lets go to the hospital for proper treatment okay?"

"Just a while more i'll be fine" insisted Jessica as her heavy rough breathing filled Tiffany's ears.

"Please, unnie"

"Secretary Shin" called Jessica tiredly as she massaged her head.

Hours after dealing with Yuri and Tiffany,
finally able to get them leave her.

"Yes Jessica-sshi?"

"Im feeling really awful now.."
"Can you try call Mr. Choi and postpone the meeting later?"

"Okay" replied the secretary as she left the room.

Upon pushing the meeting away,
Jessica rested her head against the cool glass table top and closed her eyes,
intending to take a nap.
The exhaustion is really taking a toll on her.

Hours later,
Jessica was awoken by a sudden noise.
Jumping up from her seat,
she was shocked to see Mr Jung standing infront of her with an angry expression.

"How could you stay here and sleep while the meeting is still on?!"

Secretary Shin who was watching by the side gasped.

Jessica was feeling really unwell then.
All she could do was to give Mr Jung a slight nod.

"What are you trying to do?!"

"I've trusted you to put the company in your hands!"
"And you dont seem like you can be trusted!"

Tears were falling off her face now.

"Im.."

"Forget it!"
"Im leaving!" shouted Mr Jung angrily as he stormed out of the office.

As soon as Mr Jung exited the room,
secretary Shin came in immediately and bowed at Jessica 90 degrees straight.

Back at the office,
Jessica was feeling really dizzy at that time she fell onto the ground with a loud thud as she loses her consciousness.
Hours, shes been there till Yuri and Tiffany came in the evening time.

to see the unconscious figure lying on the ground with a barely audible breathing.
Cold sweats were trickling down Jessica's creased forehead,

"The medicine is too strong for her because she aint resting Yuri"
"Bring her home" instructed Tiffany as she went over and grabbed Jessica's bag while Yuri put Jessica over her bag and ran out of the office, building and into her car.

"Please, Sica.."
"Stay with me.." whispered Yuri softly to herself.

As soon as they entered the Jungs mansion,
Mrs Jung just happened to be by the living room saw the messy situation and hurriedly ran after Yuri and Tiffany.

"Whats wrong with her?" asked Mrs Jung worriedly as Yuri placed Jessica down,
and tucked her bed.

Tiffany shook her head as she turned to Mrs Jung.

"Whats wrong with her?"
"Didnt i tell you before whats wrong with her?!"
"Shes your daughter for goodness sake!"
"I told you before she needed a lot of rest"
"I dont understand why is she always working her butts off at the office whike you three stay at home and relax!" exclaimed Tiffany furiously.

Yuri just kept quiet as she took her sleeve to wipe the cold sweat of Jessica.

"You dont know how much shes going through right now"
"Yet you parents would only care about your younger daughter and neglect your older one!"

"I've brought her for the full body check up already" defended Mrs Jung.

"Isnt it tad too late?"

Mrs Jung watched the two latter conversed with confusion.
Tiffany then let out a huge sigh as she went over to grab her medical kit.
Opening it up, was the 2jabs Jessica was supposed to be receiving earlier on.

Since Jessica was semi conscious,
with Yuri's help, Tiffany managed to get Jessica to lie on her side.

"Unnie.."
"What are you doing..?" asked Jessica weakly,
unable to even move much.

Jessica's body was totally drained of energy.

"Shh.."
"Jessi, just rest" cooed Tiffany as she gently pulled Jessica's pants down,
revealing a side of her bum.

Getting an alcohol swab,
Tiffany gave it a light wipe before jabbing the jab in,
causing Jessica to let out a painful wince.

"Pain.."
"Please, unnie" cried Jessica in English.

Tiffany's eyes widened at the sudden change of language.

"Whats wrong Jessi?" asked Tiffany in English as return while she slowly releases the liquid into her bum.

"Pain.." repeated Jessica in English again as tears streamed mercilessly down her face.

This was the first time,

"Is it really painful?" asked Mrs Jung as she watched Tiffany get another and jabbed it into Jessica's bum.

Yuri pulled up Jessica's cover and kept her warm.
Brushing off Jessica's fringe, Yuri gave her an encouraging peck on her forehead.

"You did well, baby" whispered Yuri sadly into Jessica's ears.

Keeping her stuff back into her bag,
Tiffany stood up with a firm expression.

accidentally brushing against her swollen arm.

"Arrghh.." winced Jessica with her eyes shut tightly because of the pain.

"Have you always been feeling like this?"
"Why didnt you tell omma or appa?" asked Mrs Jung as she gently rolled up Jessica's sleeves and gasped in shock.
"What happened?!"
"Why is it so swollen now?!"

"Please.. dont touch it.." begged Jessica subconsciously.

Mrs Jung sighed as she exited the room and came back minutes later,
with a piece of warm cloth in her hands.
Walking over,
Mrs Jung put the warm cloth over Jessica's swollen arms which made her cry.

"But i do hope you will tell omma about it.."
"Bear with this first alright?"
"It will help with the swell" explained Mrs Jung with concern as she wiped the cold sweats off Jessica's pained face.

Later that night,
Mrs Jung went back to her bedroom and let out a huge sigh.

"Whats wrong dear?"

"Dear, whats wrong with Jessi?"
"What do you think is wrong with her?"

"What happened?" asked Mr Jung concernly as he massaged Mrs Jung's tired shoulders.

'i dont know too.."
"Jessi seemed to have fainted in the office today and she looked like shes in a lot of pain.."
"Wait give me a minute" said Mrs Jung suddenly as she stood up and grabbed her phone.

Giving it a few tap,
Mrs Jung put it over her ears.

"Yoboseyo"

"Doctor, Mrs Jung here"
"I was wondering if you could fasten Jessi's lab report"
"Im willing to pay more, just get it faster"
"Can I?"

"Oh sure"
"We can do it for you Mrs Jung"
"But the fastest we can get the lab report for you is after tomorrow evening" replied the doctor.

"Okay, i'll be there after 7pm tomorrow to collect it"
"Thanks doctor"

After ending the call,
Mr Jung watched Mrs Jung with a puzzled expression.

"Dear, you have to tell me whats wrong?"

"Im not too sure too"
"But i have a bad feeling.."

"Is Jessi really unwell?" asked Mr Jung with a frown.
"Why cant she take care of herself..?"
"Krystal's just recovering and now shes bringing us more problems"

"its our fault for not being able to take good care of her!"

"I thought you were the one who said Krystal needed more concern and care!" defended Mr Jung defensively.

"But Jessi's our daughter too!" exclaimed Mrs Jung in return.

The talk soon became a heated argument whereby the volume actually exceeded within the room area and went over to Krystal's and Jessica's room.
Out of curiousity, Krystal peeped into Mr and Mrs Jung's room but was shocked to see the argument going on.
She had never seen her parents quarreling this badly before.
Not even once.

"You claimed to have love her the most!"
"But now, look at you!" blamed Mrs Jung angrily as she pointed at Mr Jung.
"You dont even bother with her anymore!"
"You only want my Jessi to work for you!"

"What do you mean by 'my' Jessi?!"
"Shes not only your daughter but mine too!"
"Shes our daughter!" shouted Mr Jung back angrily.

Just then the door creaked open.
Holding onto the door weakly stood Jessica and Krystal behind her back.

"Stop.."
"Appa.. omma.."
"You're scaring Krystal.." said Jessica weakly as she shook her head a little to clear the dizziness away.
"You dont have to take care of me.."
"I'll do it.. on my own like how.. it used to be.."

Jessica turned to her back and staggered back into her room,
heart hurt from the words that came out of her parents mouth.

Jessica was thinking,

Jessica nose started feeling watery but with a thick liquid dripping onto the documents.
Silently cussed inside her, Jessica quickly brought her head forward.

Krystal ran in and passed Jessica a few pieces of tissue paper,
eyes filled with worry.

"But you dont look like you are"

Jessica ruffled Krystal's hair with a chuckle.

The next morning came,
Yuri, as usual were outside Jessica's mansion waiting for her.

But this time round,
Jessica didnt come out nor did she pick up her phone.
Panicked,
Yuri pressed onto the door bell of the mansion till the gates shot open,
entering it with only Mrs Jung half awakedly by the door with a yawn.

Yuri didnt even take a second look and rushed to Jessica's room,
leaving a baffled Mrs Jung by the door and a confused Mr Jung who had just came out of his room.
The Jungs couple then followed behind Yuri, half-awakedly.

"Sica!" called Yuri worriedly as she shook the unconscious figure on the ground,
with her nose bleed not stopped yet.

Files were scattered around her.
Assuming that Jessica had accidentally pushed the files onto the ground when she was about to black out.

Mr and Mrs Jung rubbed their eyes in shock.

"Omo!"
"Sweetie!" exclaimed Mrs Jung worriedly as she rushed over to Jessica.

Yuri glared at them as she rudely pushed Mrs Jung's hands away and carried Jessica,
in bridal style down and out of the mansion towards her car.
Right after settling her onto the car seat,
Yuri sped off to the hospital.

"Doctor!" called Yuri worriedly as she carried Jessica into her usual ward.

The doctors were already waiting for Jessica for her treatment in the room.

"Whats wrong with her?" asked the doctors as they quickly got Jessica onto the bed,
and settling her down.

"I dont know"
"I found her on the floor when i was going to pick her up"
"Her nose was bleeding too"

"I think it was due to lack of rest" said the doctors as they concluded their diagnose,
with the nurses aside hanging up a few bags of solution up her infus.
"Let her rest here for now"
"We'll be back later"

"Doctor, can we talk for a minute first?" asked Yuri with a concerned expression.

"Sure, come over here" said the doctors with a smile,
directing Yuri out of the room.

"Whats wrong?"

"Doctor, i want to know Jessica's exact condition now"

The doctors frowned.

"To be honest, its not looking very good"

"Whats her chance of succeeding the treatment?"

"If its the truth you're seeking"
"I guess its better if you're mentally prepared" said the doctors with a sad sigh.
"She's working very hard to keep her life going, Yuri-sshi"
"But that wont work if she doesnt have sufficient rest"
"The medicine we're giving her is the strongest for now"
"And what we assume are the only source to keeping her alive now"

"This cant be.."

"I cant lose her.."

"We try our best coming out with the best treatment"
"But the patient has to cooperate with us and listen to us in order for things to work well"

Yuri's eyes watered.

"Im afraid i wont be able.. to see them soon.."

"Baby, the doctor cant let you home like this"
"We're all worried for your condition"
"Your appa and omma will come soon.."
"I promise.."
"Please be good, sleep now?"

Jessica let out a few sniff as she snuggled into Yuri's embrace and fell into a deep slumber almost immediately.
As the doctors and nurses dispersed,
Yuri found Mr and Mrs Jung standing there with tears falling down their faces.

Yuri slowly put Jessica back onto the bed and walked towards them.

"This is what Jessica has been going through everyday"
"Thrice"
"Can you imagine?"
"She needed you all, so badly.."
"Can you at least stay here for the night till she sees you two?"
"Please?"
"Take it as im begging you two.."

Mrs Jung wiped her tears away and gave Yuri an apologetic look.

"Give me some time, Yuri.."
"Im sorry.."
"I really am" apologised Mrs Jung sadly as she turned to the door,
Mr Jung following behind.

"No wait!"

But it was useless.

Mrs Jung couldnt bear to see Jessica in that state,
much less to say that she had neglected Jessica so so much.
Same goes for Mr Jung and to think that hes been scolding her for messing up his company matters,
to sleep and rest at home.
He didnt know Jessica's condition had been this bad.
He didnt take note of Jessica's condition.

Hours later,
Jessica had awoken from her sleep and she scanned her eyes around the room,
to see Yuri sleeping on the sofa,
with her tongue sticking out,
arms crossed.

"Appa.. omma.."
"Not here.." whispered Jessica sadly to herself as she started to sob.
"Yul.. you lied.."
"Appa and omma doesnt want me.."
