1 week later, Jessica had finally recovered&had returned to school.
In class, she was seated between Yuri&Taeyeon who were giving Jessica their fullest care&concern ever since Jessica got sick.
Well, for Yuri, she's always caring for Jessica.
While Taeyeon, its just the beginning of it.

"Sica, are you cold?" asked Taeyeon

"Yeah, are you cold?" asked Yuri
"I've got a cardigan here"

"Ani, dont worry"

"Then are you hungry?"

"Have you taken your medicine?"

These questions were all flooding Jessica's ears.
She was getting really annoyed by the both of them although they were just concerned for her.

"YAH!" exasperated Jessica in annoyance
"Can the both of you just leave me alone?!"
"I WAS sick"
"I repeat, WAS" said Jessica, emphasizing on the word 'was'.
"Im fine, all well now!"
"Stop disturbing me, im listening to the lecture!"

"Ops" chuckled Taeyeon softly

"Bianeh Sica"
"We're just worried"

"Yeah, we're just worried" agreed Taeyeon

"YAH!"
"KIM DANSHIN!"
"Stop agreeing or copying me to whatever i've said!" pouted Yuri angrily

"WHAT?!"
"You called me a danshin?!"
"So what if you're tall?!"

"Im tall&thats cool"
"Because i can see the crown of your head!" mocked Yuri bitterly

Hearing all these, Jessica gave a soft sigh&got up from her seat,
moved away from the two.

"SICA!" exclaimed the two which earned glares from the lecturer&students.

Jessica's POV

Hell, cant they just shut up?
Stop all those?
Its making me so awkward with all the stares im gaining from the lecturer&classmates!

Apologising to the lecturer&classmates, Jessica gave Taeyeon&Yuri a icy glare.

"What?" mouthed Taeyeon&Yuri with an innocent look plastered on her face.

"Alright class"
"Its 2 weeks before your holidays start"
"So from today onwards, you'll guys will form a group among each other here"
"And work on a project"
"The deadline of the project would be your last day of school"
"Groups are preferably in 3s or 4s" announced the lecturer in the lecture hall.

"Wow project work!" exclaimed Taeyeon excitedly
"Im so excited!" giggled Taeyeon

"Whats so exciting about project work, danshin?" mocked Yuri bitterly

"What?"
"Isnt it exciting?"
"To work on a project as group, being together like sisters for hours just to work on something"
"Having the same goal to work towards to!"

"Geez" sighed Yuri as she face-palmed herself.

"Well, i've yet to finish my sentence"
"Look at these slides im going to show you now"
"Its about what you all should be working for"
"Your very first project work for year 1"
"It is to work at a company&learn how things work"
"Preferably international companies so that you guys can learn more things"
"While working, you'll have to make up reports on different aspect of things you have to take note in running a business"
"Espeically international ones"
"Like what you have to take note of, probably language or cultures etc"
"Im just giving some examples" explained the lecturer as he went through the slides in the lecture hall.
"Lastly, this last slideshas some companies that would be willing to take you in"
"And let you guys gain some experience as well as your project work for the 2 weeks"
"All work will be a 5 days work week, office hours"

Hearing YoonA's name, it made Yuri felt a little sad.
Watching Yuri's expression which fell from the happy one to a sad one,
Jessica could help but sighed a little.

"Didnt mean to mention that" apologised Jessica sadly

Sigh..
Yuri still cant get herself over YoonA..
But yeah, probably..
She loved her so much, i cant expect anything from her in this short timing right..?

Nevermind Yul,
i'll wait for you till you're ready.
For now, i'll just keep my distance away from you.

"And to add on, every group members have to attend work at different companies"
"You're not supposed to work together as i require you all to share you different working experiences in different companies with your groupmates"
"Lastly, also to compile your thoughts&everything into an individual report&submit it to me by the end of next week"

"So please submit to me within this lecture your group name, members&the company you've decided to work for"
"AND EVERYONE! PLEASE! FORMAL ATTIRE PLEASE!" added the lecturer.

"Wow, i didnt know everything's so cool here" commented Yuri
"I think i'll go with my family's company"

"Same here, i'll go with my dad's company" smiled Taeyeon

"What about you, Sica?" chorused Taeyeon&Yuri

"Your family company?" mouthed Yuri

"Maybe i'll try the Jungs" said Jessica hesistantly after thinking through

Jessica's POV

Its a Singapore branch,
no one would recognise me,
im sure.

Plus its just a short 1week plus work.

"Great choice!" cheered Yuri which earned her a weird stare from Taeyeon
"What?"

"Why are you so happy when she chose the Jungs?" asked Taeyeon suspiciously

"Oh nothing"
"You know, just happy for her" shrugged Yuri
"Lets go hand in our particulars&everything to the lecturer"
"In case its been filled up before we can enter" said Yuri as she hurriedly went to the lecturer with our particulars on it.

"So, the three of you are a group i assume?" asked the lecturer after reading through the forms.

"Yup sir"
"We're a group" answered Jessica politely

"I see"
"Okay"
"And can i make a small request for you girls?"

"Sure, anything sir"

"Can you girls please stop disrupting my lectures?"
"Like today? Its a little irritating" said the lecturer bluntly

"Oh, regarding that"
"Im really sorry sir, they are a little over because of me" apologised Jessica
"I guarantee that it wont happen again" bowed Jessica

"Glad to hear"
"You may go now"
"And report to the companies you girls have registered here" said the lecturer, pointing to the piece of paper on his table.
"For work"

Later that day, over at Mr Jung's side, he was going through the names that was going to work in his company in Singapore.
Surprisingly, his daughter's name, Jessica was in it.

"Jessica..?" mumbled Mr Jung
"Great, now she's in my company in Singapore"
"I think i'll seize this chance to fly to Singapore&visit her.."
"Its been so long since i saw her.."

After going through everything&instructing the people to prepare for the newcomers tomorrow,
Mr Jung was finally on his way back home.
Upon reaching home, he was welcomed by Mrs Jung&Krystal.

"Welcome back, dear"

"Welcome back, appa" smiled Krystal sweetly

"Aww, let appa look at our cute daughter!" cooed Mr Jung as he carried the 10 years old Krystal up
"What have you learnt in school today?"

"I've learnt to do mathematics appa!"
"Sangsaenim says im doing well!" said Krystal proudly

"Aww!"
"Well done well done"
"So do you want any rewards for it?" asked Mr Jung as he walked into the kitchen carrying Krystal while Mrs Jung who was smiling behind all along.

"Appa, bring me somewhere for holiday!"
"Krystal wants to take the plane!" whined Krystal cutely
"There's a 4 days holiday starting from tomorrow!"

"Holiday?"
"Why does she have a holiday dear?" asked Mr Jung

"Oh, because it seems like her school is having some events for the graduating classes"
"So those who arent the graduating classes, are given a 4 day holiday" explained Mrs Jung

"I see"
"How about Singapore?"
"Have you heard of Singapore?"

"Singapore?"
"I've heard that its a really really tiny country but beautiful, appa"

"Singapore?"
"Dear, isnt it..?"

"Yup it is"
"Dont you miss her?"
"Its been some time since we saw her" said Mr Jung
"You didnt even visit her when she was sick" added Mr Jung

"I have my reasons.." replied Mrs Jung awkwardly

"Appa, omma who are you talking about..?" asked Krystal innocently

"Krystal, do you remember omma telling you"
"That you have an unnie who is 6 years older than you?"

"Neh" nodded Krystal

"She's in Singapore"
"Do you wanna see her?" asked Mrs Jung

"Oh err..." stuttered Krystal

"Nevermind, its okay"
"We'll take it easy" smiled Mrs Jung

Looking at that, Mr Jung just nodded with a soft sigh.
After dining dinner together, sending Krystal off to bed,
Mr&Mrs Jung returned back to their own bedroom.

"Dear, so are you still going Singapore?"
"Like bring Krystal along?"

"Yup, i mean she wants to take the plane"
"Isnt it?"
"But i wont force her to meet Jessica yet if she's not ready" said Mr Jung

"Glad to hear" smiled Mrs Jung
"Then i think i'll book the plane tickets now?"

"Yup, if possible, book the earliest you can find tomorrow" said Mr Jung
"I heard that the Universal Studios in Singapore is really fun"
"We should bring Krystal go too" added Mr Jung

Mr Jung's POV

And of course..
If possible, Jessica..
She's my flesh&blood, of course i miss her.
I also love Krystal, but Jessica..

"Oh, no problem"
"And we'll stay at the house we bought for Jessica for the few days"
"So we dont have to worry about not getting a place to stay" said Mrs Jung

"Then what about Jessica?" asked Mr Jung a little shocked

"I can just book her a hotel for her to live in it for a few days?" replied Mrs Jung
"Or probably just call&let her know..?"

"And tell her that Krystal's still not ready to meet her unnie?" asked Mr Jung sacarstically
"You've changed, dear"
"Jessica's no longer your first daughter in your heart.." mumbled Mr Jung

"I didnt!" defended Mrs Jung
"I just thought Krystal would need more time, love&concern from us!"
"Because of her sad past!"

"That still doesnt give you the full reason to neglect Jessica"
"Which part does Jessica need us lesser than Krystal?"
"You know yourself well, Jessica's born with a weak health"
"That one point, is already worrying enough"
"And, if you dont know, Jessica's cold attitude to people has actually made her the victim of the bullies"
"Tell how, which part does Jessica need us lesser than Krystal?" questioned Mr Jung with a frown.

"Well, she's grown up now"
"Im sure she can take care of herself"
"Plus, her asthma, isnt it under a good control already?" replied Mrs Jung as she averted Mr Jung's gaze.

Mrs Jung's POV

Im sure Jessi is able to handle herself well.
I mean, how old is she already?
She's like 16 turning 17?

Plus, i really think Krystal's very pitiful.
Krystal really needs our care&concern to bring herself out of the nightmare.

The next morning, at the airport, Mr&Mrs Jung, together with Krystal was at the departure hall,
waiting to board the plane.

"Yoboseyo"

"Ah, sweetie"
"Its me omma"

"Neh omma?"

"Omma will be coming over to Singapore on a holiday with Krystal for 4 days"
"Because its a sudden decision, we didnt have time to book the hotel"
"Can we stay at the house we've bought for you?"

"Neh" replied Jessica coldly

"But you know.."
"Krystal's coming with us"
"She's not ready to meet you yet.."
"So.."

"So..?"
"Im supposed to disappear out of your sight?"
"I get it"
"You wont see me"
"Gotta go, bye"

*END OF PHONE CALL*

"You really told her that?" asked Mr Jung unbelievably

"If not?"

"Aish.." sighed Mr Jung

"Welcome to the Jung's corporation's Singapore branch!" announced the person-in-charge as he brought the group together with Jessica in it.
"In here, we emphasize on discipline&efficiency"
"So, i hope all of you would have self-discipline&is efficient when it comes to dealing with matters"
"I know its just a short period of time working here but i still hope all of you would make full use of it"

Jessica's POV

What a joke!
I have to disappear from my own family's sight.
Thats just plain cool.
It cant get any cooler, can it?

Yeah, i can see that omma's in love with that Krystal.
Im sure she's gonna forget me as time passes.

I'll start getting used to it then.
But probably things are still better since i have both Taeyeon&Yuri by my side.
And Yuri..
I hope that you can forget the pain YoonA has brought upon you..

"Passengers please get ready"
"You'll be alighting slowly" announced the pilot over the public announcing system.

"Krystal, are you ready?" asked Mrs Jung as was getting ready to alight the plane.

"Neh omma" answered Krystal happily

"Come on then Krystal"
"Hold on tight to omma hands" said Mr Jung as he grabbed the luggages

"Neh appa" smiled Krystal as she held onto Mrs Jung's hands tightly

After leaving the airport, the three of them got onto a cab&went straight to Jessica's house to unload their luggages.

Jessica's POV

Appa&omma..
Together with Krystal should be reaching Singapore already right..?
Sigh..

Just then, while Jessica was thinking about her family,
her phone rang.

*WHATSAPP GROUP-Taeyeon&Yuri*

"Hey all!"
"Lets go home for dinner today?"

"Okay"

"Okay"

"But.."

"But?"

"Yeah but what?"

"The first to get home has to cook!"

"What the..?"
"You must be kidding me"
"You seriously wont want Sica to cook"

"Why not?"
"Plus its not guaranteed she'll get home first"

"Precisely"
"Plus, Yul, if its me"
"Dont tell her anything yet, just let her taste it first"

"Then if you get home first"
"Dont cook mine please!"

"Taetae's gonna regret this.." chuckled Jessica softly to herself.

While working hard on her first day of work, Jessica still couldnt take her mind off the fact that her family is coming to Singapore.
But also a sad fact that she cant meet them because her adopted sister werent ready to meet her.
Mrs Jung was afraid that Krystal might feel insecure or something thus, telling Jessica to move out of the house she bought for her.
Temporary.
However, Mrs Jung didnt know that Jessica didnt even live there.
Soon, it was time to knock off from work.
Stretching her body while she stood up from her seat, Jessica was exhausted by the amount of work she has to learn&report she has to write for her project.
Walking out of the lift, at the lobby, Jessica was a little taken aback by who she saw.

"Appa..?" whispered Jessica softly to herself with shocked expression while Mr Jung walked towards her.

"Jessi" called Mr Jung while Jessica started to turn&walk away.
"Wait, dont sweetie!" exclaimed Mr Jung as he chased after Jessica&eventually caught her.
"Why are you running away from me?"

"Because omma says so" replied Jessica coldly, averting Mr Jung's gaze

"Look at me sweetie" ordered Mr Jung as he grabbed onto Jessica's face, moving it to face him.
"Im here alone, without omma or Krystal"
"I just wanna have dinner with my daughter, cant i?"

"Appa.."

"How can my daughter run away from me?" asked Mr Jung
"Come, i'll get you something nutritious okay?" smiled Mr Jung

"Here"
"Your favourite abalone" said Mr Jung as he put a piece of abalone on Jessica's plate

"Appa.." started Jessica

"Hmm..?"

"Why are you here..?"
"I mean, how can you be here..?"
"Shouldnt you be accompanying omma&Krystal..?" asked Jessica sadly as she looked down at her plate

"Well, i lied to you omma that i'll be coming over to do a surprise check on the company here"
"Thats why" smirked Mr Jung confidently
"So dont worry, eat more okay?"
"I heard that you were sick" sighed Mr Jung

"Yeah.."
"I was sick the whole week.." admitted Jessica

"So how are you now?"
"You lost weight, Jessi" commented Mr Jung sadly
"I sent you here just because i hope for you to be independent"
"And to gain more experience you know" explained Mr Jung

"Yeah.."
"Im fine now.."
"For now.."

"Jessi, take good care of yourself"
"Dont make appa&omma worried for you"

"Omma's worried..?" mumbled Jessica
"As if.."

"Sorry?"

"Oh nothing.."
"I'll try.."

"So did you went to Tiffany?"

"Yup i did.."

"Good, if you have anything just look for Tiffany" said Mr Jung
"And dont be too hard on yourself, you've lost so much weight"
"I mean now too, i know you're working in our company but dont be too hard on yourself"

"If you're scolded, bring your name out!" winked Mr Jung jokingly

"Appa!"

"No one knows im your daughter, except for Yuri" said Jessica as a matter-of-factly.
