While Jessica was dining with Mr Jung,
something striked her mind.

"Ah!"
"Im dead!" said Jessica as she quickly took out her phone&tapped a few times before putting it by her ears

Mr Jung who was looking at what happened was a little puzzled.
Nevertheless, he continued listening to their conversation.

*PHONE CALL*

"Yoboseyo"

"Yah Yuri-ah"
"Its me"

"Oh Sica"
"Why arent you back yet?"
"We're cooking already"

"Bianeh Yul"
"Im having dinner outside with my dad tonight"
"Explain more to you when i get back okay?"

"What?"
"You dad's in Singapore?!"
"Araesso"
"I'll wait for you then"
"Be safe!"

"Thanks Yul"
"Pass the message to Taeyeon too"

*END OF PHONE CALL*

"Is that Yuri?" asked Mr Jung

"Yup"
"Well, im living with her together with another Korean girl i met in school" said Jessica

"Another Korean girl?"

"Yeah, she's from a pretty well-to-do family"

"Well, arent you one too?" joked Mr Jung

"No one knows i am"
"Anyway, her name is Kim Taeyeon"
"Daughter of the famous fashion brand - The Dorkshionista"

"Oh"
"Its the Kim family"

"Yup" replied Jessica, munching her food away.
"So.."

"Hmm..?"

"How's omma&Krystal..?" said Jessica, carefully picking her words.

"Your mum?"
"She's doing very well from what i see"
"She cared a lot for Krystal"
"Oh ya, you've yet to see Krystal right?" asked Mr Jung with his eyes a little lit up
"Here" said Mr Jung as he passed his phone over to Jessica with a bright smile

Pressing on the home button of Mr Jung's iphone,
the wallpaper of his phone was a photo taken with Krystal.
A family photo without her.

"Oh.." said Jessica a little disappointed
"She's pretty.."

"Yup she is pretty"
"You are too, Jessi" smiled Mr Jung as he took his phone back from Jessica

"Thanks appa"
"I've just remembered i've got something important to do"
"You have fun, thanks for the meal"
"Have a fun holiday here" said Jessica as she abruptly stood up from her seat&left, leaving Mr Jung dumbfounded to to Jessica's sudden behaviour.

Mr Jung's POV

Whats wrong with her?
I came here specially to have a meal with her&she just left like this?

Walking out of the restaurant, standing by the streets hailing for cab.
Jessica was holding onto her tears.
If she were to stay in the restaurant, her tears would definitely fall before anything could happen.
Within minutes, she got onto a cab&went straight home.
On the cab, tears started flowing down her face.

Jessica's POV

I thought appa really came&to have dinner with me..
Or is it..?
I thought at least appa still remembered me..
But why is it that he had his phone wallpaper changed..?
Everyone was inside except me..

Did you know how sad i was, appa?
It looks like you all are starting to forget me..
After sending me to Singapore..

The taxi driver, who saw Jessica crying so bitterly in the cab,
but tried her best not to make any noise passed her a box of tissue.

"Feel better"
"Its sad to see such a pretty lady crying in my cab" smiled the taxi driver kindly

"Thanks.." sobbed Jessica as she took the tissue box from the driver

After around 15 minutes, Jessica had arrived back at Taeyeon's apartment.
Going up to her apartment feeling all disappointed, but decided to put on a smile in case Yuri&Taeyeon gets worried for her.

"Welcome back Sica!" greeted Taeyeon happily as she opened the door for Jessica
"Did you have fun with your dad?"
"I heard from Yuri he's here"

"Oh my dad?"
"Yup of course" lied Jessica

"Sica-ah, why is your dad here?" asked Yuri who was chewing onto chips while watching the TV

"He's here on a holiday" replied Jessica
"Im going back to my room"
"Im tired today" lied Jessica

"Ops"
"Whats wrong with her?" asked Taeyeon puzzled

"I've got no idea"
"Is the workload at the Jungs heavy?" said Yuri

"Probably?" shrugged Taeyeon

Yuri's POV

Whats wrong with Sica?
She doesnt look really happy..?

Thinking about it for a few minutes, Yuri decided to go into Jessica's room.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"Sica-ah, its me"
"Are you asleep?" asked Yuri

"..."
"..."
"..."

"I guess you are.." sighed Yuri as she walked back into her room

The next day, Mrs Jung went to Krystal's room&woke her up.

"Wake up sweetheart" called Mrs Jung as she lightly nudged Krystal

"Hmmm.." said Krystal as she rubbed her eyes
"Yes omma..?" asked Krystal half-awaked

"We're in Singapore for a holiday, remember?"
"Come on, go&wash up"
"We'll be visiting their famous Universtal Studios today!"

"Jinjja?!"
"Araesso omma" smiled Krystal happily

Later part of the day, the trio arrived at the Universal Studios Singapore (USS),
bought their tickets&entered the attraction.
It was filled with plenty of foreigners as well as locals, mascots of different characters were also walking around the whole attraction.
All these made Krystal really excited&happy being in there.

"Did you have fun sweetheart?" asked Mrs Jung

"Yup omma!"
"Krystal having so much fun!" grinned Krystal happily

"Great to hear that"
"Shall we go&grab some food?"
"Where do you wanna eat?" asked Mr Jung
"Madacasgar?"

"Oooo"
"Is it the one with all the animals that will talk?" asked Krystal innocently

"Yup thats right"
"Or do you wanna have your lunch at transformers section there?"

"Ani, i want the animals one" smiled Krystal

"Araesso"
"Lets go" smiled Mr Jung as he held on Krystal's hand together with Mrs Jung&headed off to the place they have decided.

Later at night, after the sun set&night came, it was time for Hollywood After Hours.
Or at least, this is what they called it.
The rides were all closed, while the places that sells food were all opened.
In the end, after walking for 1 whole day in USS, they decided to dine at a nearby fast-food restaurant at the Hollywood-Walk-Of-Fame.
The fast food restaurant was built in a retro style, with bright neon lights as their signboard.
Food served was pretty delicious too.

"Sweetheart"
"Are you happy today?" asked Mrs Jung as she looked at the satisfied look of Krystal

"Of course!"
"Im so happy!" said Krystal happily
"Everything's so nice here"

"Glad that you're happy Krystal" smiled Mr Jung as he ruffled Krystal's hair
"Lets go home after this okay?"
"Appa&omma's exhausted" yawned Mr Jung awkwardly

"Araesso appa" smiled Krystal

Soon the whole week slowly passed for Jessica while it passed quickly for Mr,Mrs Jung&Krystal.
It was then the night before the last day of school whereby they had to hand in their project.

While rushing their project after the last day of work in Taeyeon's room,
the trio were also chatting away on their plannings for this upcoming holiday.

"So how?"
"Where are you guys going?" asked Taeyeon

"Im going to America"
"My dad's there, he wants to spend some time with me"
"So he had gotten me the plane ticket for tomorrow evening once i finishes school" said Yuri

"What about you Sica?"

"I dont know"
"Most probably back to Korea?"
"I've booked the tickets for tomorrow evening too" said Jessica

"Oh, back to Korea?"
"Same!"
"Are you taking Singapore Airlines too?"

"Yup"

"Omo!"
"We must be on the same plane!" exclaimed Taeyeon excitedly
"Flight XXX right?"

"Yup"

"ASSA!"
"Same plane!" giggled Taeyeon

"Taetae"
"Just complete your work first"
"We've to rush it"
"Plus, same plane doesnt mean we'll be seating with each other"

"I know i know" said Taeyeon

After rushing the whole night for the project, the girls had finally gotten everything done completed.
They were really proud of their work but was really exhausted since they didnt manage to get any sleep&has to get ready for school already.

"Sigh" grumbled Yuri
"So tired!"

"Same here" complained Taeyeon tiredly as they left the house

"Sica?"
"Where is she?" asked Yuri suddenly, realising Jessica wasnt with them.

"I remembered waking her up.."
"Hmm.."

Walking around the house, looking&calling for Jessica but to no avail until Yuri heard Taeyeon's ahjumma laugh.

"HAHAHAHA" laughed Taeyeon loudly, falling to the floor.
"SICA-AH!" shouted Taeyeon

Yuri who walked in to join Taeyeon also started laughing at Jessica.
She actually fell asleep in the toilet.
The smart part was, she pulled the toilet cover down&sat on it.

"HUH?!" startled Jessica but then turned to an ice cold glare after seeing her friends laughing at her
"Yah, stop it" said Jessica annoyed

"Sica-ah" chuckled Yuri
"How could you even sleep in there?"

"Im a pro, didnt you know that?" snapped Jessica as she grabbed her bag&walked out of the house.
Following behind was the two giggly girls, cant stop laughing at Jessica's cuteness.

After handing their projectwork, the girls heaved a big sigh of relief.

"Phew!"
"Everything's done for now" exasperated Taeyeon
"Time for some fun!"

"Im going back to get my luggage&to the airport" said Yuri
"What about you girls?"

"Me?"
"Same as you, i bet Taetae is too" replied Jessica

"In that case, lets go!"
"Everything's finally over"
"Im gonna catch all the sleep i've lost last night on the plane later" grinned Yuri

"Me too"

"Dont oversleep Sica!"
"You'll miss the landing!" joked Taeyeon who still couldnt get over what happened in the morning

"Are you seriously gonna continue laughing at me like that?" asked Jessica, a little annoyed

"Ops"
"Bianeh Sica" apologised Taeyeon
"I wont, i promise"
"Please dont be mad at me!" whined Taeyeon

"Danshin!"
"Stop whining like a kid!"

"Whats wrong with you, giant?"
"I cant even whin now?"
"Sica~~"
"You're best friend is bullying me~" whined Taeyeon

"Sica!"
"Look at her, forever so whiny!" complained Yuri

Jessica who couldnt stand their childishness, covered her ears&walked off to the main road&hailed for a cab.
On the cab, the two were still complaining about each other while Jessica just plug in her earphones&shun the whole world out.
After they reached home, grabbing their luggages&back to the airport, Jessica&Taeyeon bid farewell to Yuri who was taking another airline to America.

"Anyeong Yul"
"We'll see each other back here again" said Jessica as she threw Yuri a warm hug
"Take care!"

"Anyeong Sica"
"Take care too!" replied Yuri, returning the hug

Hope you can get YoonA off your mind during your bonding time with your dad..

"Take care!" waved Yuri as she walked into the departure hall

"Anyeong giant!"

"Dont shrink to a danshin when you're back!" joked Taeyeon playfully

"Lets go Taetae"
"Its time for us to check in now too" smiled Jessica as she dragged her luggage into the departure hall together with Taeyeon

Yuri's POV

Its finally the holidays..
I hope that i can take YoonA off my mind during the holidays..
I dont know why, although i broke up with her,
i still missed her a lot..

On the flight towards Korea, while Jessica was seated by the window seat,
someone familiar came&put her carrybag into the storage about the seats.
Taeyeon, on the other hand was seat at the other seats far away from Jessica since they didnt book the tickets together.

"Hey..?"
"Are you Jessi?"

Jessica turned her head from the window&was surprised to see Tiffany.

"Unnie..?"

"WOAH!"
"Its really you Jessi!" exclaimed Tiffany
"I cant believe im seated beside you!"

"Okay..?"

"Ops, sorry"
"What about your dorky friend Taeyeon?"
"She's cute, isnt she with you?" asked Tiffany as she sat down on her seat

"She's on this plane too"
"Just different seats, we didnt book the tickets together"
"Thats why" explained Jessica
"By the way, why are you here?"

"Going back to Korea, obvious isnt it?"
"My cousin is getting married, so im flying back to attend his wedding dinner"

"Oh"
"I see"

"What about you?"
"On holiday?"

"You can say so"
"Its school holiday now"

"No wonder.."
"Can i ask you something Jessi?"

"Yup?"

"Are you still like.. you know bullied in school..?"

"Huh?"
"Err.."
"Not really, maybe getting taunted&teased at?"
"Not the physical ones 'cause after that incident i didnt go alone to anywhere" explained Jessica
"I went with either Yuri or Taeyeon"
"Anyway, it doesnt matter much, im used to all these" added Jessica

"Used to it?"
"Why?"

"Well, i looked cold, appear cold"
"People take my coldness as arrogance"
"Cant stand it"
"Then it happened"
"Both in Korea&Singapore"

"Oh my"
"Does you parents know about it?"

"No"
"Didnt want them to worry"

"Dont worry, life's gonna get better" smiled Tiffany

"Thanks"

6 hours later, they had finally reached Korea.

"AHHH~"
"This is where i really belong!" cheered Taeyeon dorkily as soon as she stepped out of the arrival hall

"Anyeonghaeseyo agasshi" greeted one of the men in suit
"Let us help you with the luggages"

As the men in the suit grabbed the luggages from Taeyeon, Taeyeon turned around to Tiffany&Jessica.

"Need a lift?" offered Taeyeon with a genuine smile.

"No thanks"
"My dad's chaffeur's coming"
"But thanks for asking" replied Tiffany with an eye-smile.

"Omo"
"Stop eye-smiling already"
"Im gonna melt!" giggled Taeyeon cheekily
"How about you Sica?"

"Me?"
"Dont worry, go ahead&head home now"
"Your parents must be waiting"
"I can get home on my own, its Korea"
"Not somewhere foreign"

"You sure?"

"Yup 101% sure"
"Thanks for asking" smiled Jessica

"No problem"
"Then i'll get going already" waved Taeyeon as she went out with the men in suit

After Taeyeon left, Tiffany turned to Jessica.

"Didnt your dad send someone to pick you up?"
"Did you tell them you're coming back?" asked Tiffany

"Nope" shooked Jessica
"They also cant be bothered with me"
"I'll just hail a cab&get home"
"No problem" replied Jessica

"Why not like this?"
"I'll send you home?"
"Like give you a lift?"
"My dad's chaffeur's already outside waiting"
"Come on, lets go" smiled Tiffany as she pulled Jessica out of the airport&into her dad's car.

Around 45 minutes later, Tiffany dropped Jessica off infront of her mansion.

"Wow, your house is big"
"Much bigger than mine" commented Tiffany

"Its nothing unnie"
"Anyway, thanks for your ride" bowed Jessica politely

"No problem"
"I'll see you around" winked Tiffany before the chaffeur drove off.

Walking to the gate, ringing the bell, Jessica was waiting for someone to open the gate for her.
Surprisingly, the gate didnt open but a voice was heard from the doorbell.

"Nuguseyo?" answered a sweet little girl

"Nuguseyo?"
"Open the gate for me"

"Omma omma!" shouted the little girl
"There's someone weird outside asking me to open the gate for her"

"Seriously?"
"Im weird?" muttered Jessica

"Oh its you sweetie!" exclaimed Mrs Jung as she quickly opened the gate for Jessica after looking at the screen
"Its your unnie" whispered Mrs Jung to Krystal

"Oh.." replied Krystal as she hurriedly ran back to her room

Jessica, who was entering the house saw what happened.

"Whats wrong with her?" asked Jessica as she tried carrying her luggage up

"Ahjumma"
"Come over&help her" called Mrs Jung
"Sweetie, why are you back?" asked Mrs Jung

"They are having holidays now"
"So i am back here.." replied Jessica a little disappointed
"Im on holidays&you didnt even know.." muttered Jessica sadly

"Ops"
"Bianeh, omma didnt even know" apologised Mrs Jung awkwardly

"Aniyo"
"Kwenchanae"
"What about Krystal?"
"Why did she run away?"

"I think she's still shy about meeting you"
"Go up&rest, sweetie"
"You had a long flight" smiled Mrs Jung

When Jessica was about to go up, she heard Mrs Jung called the housekeeper.

"Ahjumma!"
"Can you please throw away all the dishes with cucumbers in it?"
"Jessica's back!"

Upon hearing that, Jessica's heart ache a little.

"Omma"
"Dont need to do that"
"Its okay" said Jessica

"You sure?"
"We didnt know you're coming back"
"Thats why" explained Mrs Jung
"Plus, Krystal loves cucumbers ever since i told her its good for her skin" smiled Mrs Jung awkwardly

"Yeah its fine" assured Jessica as she walked up the stairs

"Ahjumma"
"Its okay, dont clear it"
"But from tomorrow onwards, dont cook anything with cucumbers in it!" ordered Mrs Jung

"Neh Mrs Jung" replied the ahjumma

Back in Jessica's room, she plopped back into her bed,
feeling rather sad.

Jessica's POV

Back then, when i was here,
there wasnt even a cucumber in the house because of my allergy.
Just because i left Korea to study in Singapore,
everything changed so much.

Isnt it better off with me staying in Singapore?

While Jessica was staring into the ceiling, she realised that there was a little figure standing behind her door.
Jessica then sat up on her bed, stared at her for a few seconds.

"Whats wrong?"
"Do you wanna come in?" offered Jessica

But Krystal just stood there shyly.

"Come in?"
"Dont you wanna meet your unnie?" asked Jessica

Jessica was trying her best to accept this new member into her life even though all the attention she had gotten for the past 17 years were totally taken away by her.
But she couldnt actually vent her frustration on this tiny fragile figure.
After persuading for sometime, Krystal finally took timid steps into Jessica's room&eventually infront of her.
Jessica carried Krystal up onto her bed&seated her comfortably there.

"So tell me"
"Do you know who am i?"

Krystal nodded shyly

"So who am i?"

"..Un..nie..?"

"Dont you wish you see me?"
"Why did you run away from me?"

"Err.." said Krystal softly as she averted Jessica's gaze

"Its okay"
"Dont be shy" smiled Jessica
"Do you wanna do a self-introduction like we always did in school?" offered Jessica

"..."
"..."

"I think i'll start the ball rolling first?"
"Anyeonghaeseyo"
"Jessica Jung imnida" introduced Jessica as she stretched out her arms to Krystal

"Anyeong.. hae..seyo.."
"Krystal.. Jung imnida" said Krystal softy as she returned Jessica her handshake

"Thats the way" smiled Jessica
"I think we should go down soon"
"Its time for dinner right?"

"Neh" nodded Krystal shyly

"Kaja!" said Jessica while Krystal shyly held onto Jessica's hands.

While they were walking down to the dining hall, they met Mr Jung who had just returned home.

"Jessi?"
"Is that you?" asked Mr Jung unable to believe his eyes

"Yeah?"

"Why are you back here?"

"Why is it that all of you are asking it?"
"Is it because that you all are not happy to see your FIRST daughter back home?" asked Jessica sacarstically, emphasizing the word 'FIRST'.

"Ani ani"
"Just asking" said Mr Jung
"Go on for dinner then" smiled Mr Jung

At the dining table, Mr Jung was actually pretty glad to have a dinner like that.
With all his family members together.

"Dear"
"Why are the dishes all filled with cucumbers?" whispered Mr Jung to Mrs Jung
"Didnt you know Jessi's allergy?"

"I know" whispered Mrs Jung back
"I told the ahjumma to clear it away but Jessi said it was alright"
"Plus i didnt know all the dishes were filled with it"

"Kwenchaena"
"Omma&appa, its okay"
"You all enjoy your dinner" said Jessica coldly
"Krystal, have fun with your dinner okay?" smiled Jessica before getting up from her seat&back to her room

"Aish.." sighed Mr Jung
"You arent considerate enough!" blamed Mr Jung

"What about you?"
"You didnt even tell me she's coming home"

"Well, i have to work"
"Cant you get to know her more?"
"First day back home&she didnt even get a nice dinner!"

"Omma.."
"Appa.." called Krystal almost crying
"Dont quarrel.."

"Look, its all your fault!" blamed Mrs Jung
"Aww.."
"Dont cry sweetheart"
"Appa&omma wont quarrel, enjoy your dinner okay?" smiled Mrs Jung

Jessica's room

"Wow, what a joke.."
"What have i actually became in this family..?"
"An unwanted daughter or a forgotten daughter?" mocked Jessica bitterly as she spinned her chair in rounds.

An hour later, Mr Jung came into Jessica's room with an apologetic yet awkward expression.

"Jessi, do you want something to eat?"
"I know the dinner wasnt suitable for you"
"I can buy you some takeaways"

"Its okay"
"I think i'll just give it a miss"

"Anyway, i know you're back here on holiday"
"But do you mind like helping me out for awhile..?"
"My vice-CEO went on a maternity leave.."
"So yeah.."
"Most of the work are already done before she left"
"So you only need to handle the upcoming ones" explained Mr Jung awkwardly
"I know its a little bad to ask you to help me out.."
"But i thought since you had a short internship in Singapore, you should know how things work in our company"

"I see.."
"Okay then.." sighed Jessica slightly
"I'll help you then.."
"When do i start..?"

"Is tomorrow fine with you?"

"I think so.."
"Tomorrow then.."

"Thanks Jessi" smiled Mr Jung happily
"You came back just on time to help me!"

Yeah yeah..
So i shouldnt have came back right?
Found so much trouble for myself..

Sigh..
Im missing you so much Yul..
Have you safely arrived in America?
Hope you're having fun there, forget about YoonA but not me!
