First day of school

"Sica!"
"Wake up!" called Taeyeon loudly at Jessica's ears
"We're gonna be late!!"

"Just give me 5 more minutes!" whined Jessica as she covered her ears with the pillow

"NoOoO~"
"I've give you five of the 5 minutes!" said Taeyeon as she pulled open the covers of Jessica

"Its cold Taetae!"
"The aircondition is on!" pouted Jessica angrily as she sat up on the bed

"What did you just call me?"

"Ops"

"Omo!"
"Sica-ah! Dont keep a distance from me!"
"Im sure we can become best of friends"
"Just keep calling me Taetae" said Taeyeon happily as she dragged Jessica's half awake body into the bathroom
"Im just giving you 10 minutes~" chimed Taeyeon before leaving Jessica in the bathroom

"Hell"
"Why did i call her Taetae!" grumbled Jessica while brushing her teeth
"I must be in the wrong mind!"
"Im always like this when i woke up"

10 minutes later, Jessica groggily carried her bag out of the room.
Into the living room, was Taeyeon sitting there impatiently waiting for Jessica.

"Finally~"
"The ice princess is ready to go~" exasperated Taeyeon, earning a cold glare from Jessica

"I didnt even ask you to wait for me" Jessica spat back rudely

"Now now"
"Where did all the manners you've learnt back home in Korea?" teased Taeyeon as she opened the door for the both of them to get off

"Fine, just cab to school"
"I'll pay for it" surrendered Jessica tiredly, yawning all the way.

"Why are you so tired?"

"Im always tired in the morning" replied Jessica

"Thats why you have to sleep so long?" asked Taeyeon innocently

"Yeah, i sleep a lot only in the morning"

Jessica was trying to teased Taeyeon, since Taeyeon looked really gullible.
Easily deceived, as expected, Taeyeon believed what Jessica said all the while.

"Oh, really"
"So how do i wake you up?"

"Make me laugh in the morning"
"I'll be up immediately" lied Jessica cunningly

"Make you laugh?!"
"How am i supposed to do that early in the morning!"
"Where should i find all those gags for you!" exclaimed Taeyeon in the cab

"Well, thats just up to you"
"Or you can just leave me in the room"
"I'll attend school when im up"

"You're so mean"
"You dont wanna attend school with me!" whined Taeyeon as she looked out of the window

Jessica's POV

Ops?
I was just fooling around
But i cant deny the fact that Taeyeon's cute at times too..
Her accompany might help me take my mind of Yuri..

End of Jessica's POV

"Alright fine!" said Jessica suddenly
"I'll wake up on time next time" surrendered Jessica with a slight pout on her face

"I cant hear youuu~"

"Then thats too bad" snapped Jessica as she got off the cab&walked into the campus leaving Taeyeon behind.

Weeks just passed by like that for Jessica&Taeyeon.
As weeks passed, Jessica started to accept Taeyeon,
as her friend.
Well, she hasnt got any friend till now in class except for Taeyeon.
But the bad thing is, there are some girls in their class were always targeting Jessica for her cold personality as arrogance.
During lectures/practicals, Jessica got teased&mocked at all the time.
Taeyeon tried to stop but always got pulled away by the guys who liked her.
On an ordinary day, while the class were having a break time of 30minutes,
Jessica went to the toilet without telling Taeyeon.

In the toilet, Jessica was in the cubicle.
Giggles were heard outside but she just simply brushed it off,
Thinking that it was nothing.
Just some normal girls who were joking around with their friends.
But to her horror, a bucket over water was placed right above the cubicle she was in,
right before Jessica was about to scream for NO,
the whole bucket of water just fell right over her.
Jessica rolled her eyes as she kicked the door in annoyance.

"How does that feel?"
"Dont you like the cold yet arrogant feeling?"
"I bet you love the cold water that soak you inside out too!" mocked the girls outside the cubicle sacarstically
"Enjoy your cooling time in there!" chuckled the girls as they hurriedly left the toilet, leaving Jessica in the toilet.

Jessica quickly got up, wanting to get out of the cubicle.
But was then later shocked to find out that the cubicle was locked on the outside.

"Damnn.." cussed Jessica angrily as she kicked the door in anger again,
hoping that someone will come by and help her out.

But to be honest, who would hear it when everyone was having lesson?
And the lesson wont end in another hours time.
Giving up, Jessica just pulled the cover down and sat on the toiletbowl.

Then, an idea striked her - to call for Taeyeon.
However, when she got her phone out of her pocket,
the phone screen was flickering and the buttons werent working.
Guess it must be soaked too which explains the malfunction.

With a sigh, Jessica just rested her chin on her hands while waiting for some kind soul to enter the toilet.


Taeyeon's POV

Where is Sica..?
Why isnt she back yet?
All our classmates are already back..
Plus, she went even earlier than them..

Lesson had already started..
Should i call her..?

End of Taeyeon's POV

Taeyeon took out her phone secretly from her bag,
calling Jessica with her phone under the desk.
Well, using of phone in class for poly is not forbidden.
But, respect is the thing Taeyeon's concerned about.
She didnt want to show her lecturers that she's disrespecting them.
The thing now is that Taeyeon's worried for Jessica.

While the lecturer was giving the lecture,
Taeyeon was calling Jessica but just couldnt get through Jessica's phone.
It was always directed to the voicemail.
Worried, Taeyeon quietly packed Jessica's items together with hers&crept out of the lecture hall with their bags.
Walking into the toilet with a heavy heart.
 

Out of nowhere,
Jessica's to wheeze as she felt her chest tightened.
Holding onto it, slowly regulating her breath,
hoping that it will help since it used to help her when she was in Korea.

Sadly, it didnt help a single bit.
The last thing she wanted to happen had eventually happened.

"Sica?" called Taeyeon who was outside the toilet but rushed straight into it when she heard some weird noises coming from the toilet.
"Sica! Is that you?!" shouted Taeyeon who was fussing about the door which got locked by the mop&some twines.

Within seconds, the weird noises went dead.
And all Taeyeon could hear was a slight thud&straight after that,
revealing a familiar arm sliding underneath the cubicle.

"" cursed Taeyeon as she took out a penknife from her bag&swiftly cut the twines to get the door open.
"Sica!" called Taeyeon as she violently shook the unconscious body.
"Sica!!"

Piggybacking Jessica on her back, Taeyeon hung all the bags over her neck,
fishing her phone out of her pocket, she quickly dialed for her chaffeur.

*PHONE CALL*

"Yoboseyo"

"Chaffeur Lee!!"
"Pali pali!!"
"Come over to my school now!!!" exclaimed Taeyeon, panting badly

"Agashimida agasshi" replied the chaffeur

*END OF PHONE CALL*

10 minutes later, Taeyeon had finally managed to piggyback the unconscious Jessica out to the front of the school.
Well, it must be amazing yet a little unbelieveable that such a petite figure could actually carry Jessica all the way out.
As soon as the chaffeur saw Taeyeon, he quickly went over to her&got Jessica from her.

"Bring her to the hospital now!" instructed Taeyeon as she got onto the car

On the way to the hospital, Jessica had slowly regained conscious but was really weak.

"Taetae.." called Jessica weakly, barely audible for Taeyeon to hear.

But Jessica's hand lightly grabbed on Taeyeon's wrist.

"Sica?!" exclaimed Taeyeon as she turned to Jessica with a shocked expression
"What happened to you?!"
"Why are you all drenched?!"
"Dont worry, im bringing you to the hospital!"

"Dont.."
"Just.. bring.. me to.. Tiffany.." mumbled Jessica weakly as she fell into her unconscious state again.

"Tiffany?!"
"Who is Tiffany?!" questioned Taeyeon to herself as she fumbled Jessica's bag&found a hospital card.

There was this contact number on it, it was written on the card that the doctor-in-charge was - Tiffany Hwang Miyoung

Taeyeon's POV

A Korean?
Thats just great, since i'll be having some language barrier with the locals since the only common thing they speak is ENGLISH.

End of Taeyeon's POV

After tapping on her phone for a few times, Taeyeon brought her phone up to her ears.
Within seconds, the other party picked up.

*PHONE CALL*

"Hello?"

"Yoboseyo"
"Are you Tippani-sshi?"

"Ah-neh"
"Nuguseyo?"

"Do you know Jessica Jung?"
"It was written on her hospital card that you're her doctor-in-charge"

"Oh, yes of course"
"Whats wrong?"

"Well, i dont know whats wrong with her"
"She appeared very weak, she fainted in the toilet"
"Or apparently from what i saw, she was locked out, soaked" explained Taeyeon while looking at the unconscious Jessica
"And, she was clutching her chest very tightly too" added Taeyeon
"She had a few seconds of consciousness just now, then she told me not to bring her to the hospital but to you"

"WHAT?!"
"Araesso"
"Bring her to XXX now"
"I'll rush home now"

*END OF PHONE CALL*

"Erm change of destination"
"To XXX now"
"Pali pali!" instructed Taeyeon worriedly as she felt that Jessica's hands are getting colder.

Within 30 minutes, Taeyeon&Jessica finally arrived outside a pretty big private house.
While Taeyeon got off the car, following behind was her chaffeur carrying Jessica.
Ringing the doorbell, the gate suddenly opened&was welcomed by a worried looking girl.
It was Tiffany.

"Pali pali"
"Carry her in here" instructed Tiffany as she led them into a guest room which actually appeared like a hospital room to Taeyeon.

Taeyeon's chaffeur left Jessica on the bed gently while Tiffanny squeezed through them,
asking the two of them to excuse her&Jessica in the room.

While Taeyeon was outside the room, pacing to&forth,
worried for Jessica, she suddenly went to the room,
trying eavesdrop what was happening inside the room.
Unfortunately, Taeyeon couldnt hear anything except for the shuffling of feets in the room.

Taeyeon's POV

Aish!
Why cant i hear anything!
Is this room sound proof or anything?!
This is so worrying!

End of Taeyeon's POV

After a good 15 minutes, the door finally clicked open.
It was Tiffany walking out of the room with a concerned frown.

"How is she?" asked Taeyeon worriedly

"Well, her condition is stable for now" sighed Tiffany
"What exactly happened to her?"

"I've got no idea too"
"But my guess is that she got bullied by my classmates.." said Taeyeon softly

"Are you kidding me?"
"Bullied?!"
"Its already poly!" exasperated Tiffany giving a "for goodness sake" expression

"I know but i cant help it because they were too childish"
"But can she go home or something?"

"I think its better for her to stay here for these few days"
"But dont worry, you're welcome to visit her"
"I'll stay here to look after her till she's well again" winked Tiffany as she let Taeyeon into the room

Walking into the room, Jessica was lying on the bed.
Sleeping peacefully, with an nasal cannula over her face&an infus on her hand.

"Sica, what happened..?" asked Taeyeon softly as she caressed Jessica's cheeks.

Taeyeon's heart was actually aching a little looking at her best friend,
being so sick.
