"So..?" started Yuri slowly with a doubting expression.
"Can.. we..?"

"Err.."
"You sure about it Yul..?"
"You know, i dont want to sorta break the relationship you had with Jessica.."
"I know Jessica loves you.."

"Well, i broke up with her already"
"I thought its weird being together with my bestfriend" said Yuri bluntly
"Plus, its okay"
"I wanted to stay by her side but she just pushed me away"

"But isnt it..?"

YoonA was actually really happy inside because she wanted to revenge Yuri.
For breaking up with her when that was her first time that she put in so much feelings into being with someone.
And that person just broke off with her because of Jessica.
YoonA couldnt recall how hurt was she exactly then.
Causing to her get scolded around by her parents because of her undecisive feelings.
Eventually, YoonA finally managed to get that down and intend to revenge on Yuri.

"Its okay YoonA"
"Really, dont worry about a thing"
"I promise you i wont mention anything about Jessica anymore"
"Not even once"

"If you insist.."
"Of course im willing to!" grinned YoonA happily
"I mean i've never stopped loving you even though you broke up with me" admitted YoonA sadly, with a hurt expression.

"Im sorry Yoon" apologised Yuri as she hugged YoonA tightly
"I didnt mean to"

"Its okay, now that we are back together" smiled YoonA as she broke the hug

YoonA's POV

Now, its the finally the time.
The time for everything.
Kwon Yuri.
You dragged me into heaven,
for loving you.
And you broke up with me for a mere nobody.

Just wait, things will change.

"Hey Jessica"
"Its lunchtime now, do you wanna go for lunch with me..?" asked Sooyoung timidly at Jessica,
taking glances at Jessica at times.

Jessica looked up from the amount of work piled on her table and smiled kindly.
Just when Jessica was about to speak,
Lina, Tasmin and Jenny walked to the table of Jessica's with an evil smirk.

"Here"
"We're doing you a favour by bringing the work Ms Kang had assigned to you" said Tasmin with glee.

Sooyoung glared at them.

"Its unfair"
"Why doesnt the three of you have work to do then?"
"Why are the three of you always pushing work to Jessica!" defended Sooyoung protectively.

Jenny laughed.

"Choi Sooyoung"
"You're from a reputable family"
"Why are you hanging out with such a poor?" said Jenny sacarstically.

Jessica was getting used to all these tauntings.
It happened ever since she was young, in school.
So it doesnt actually matter to her.

"She's not poor!" hissed Sooyoung in annoyance.
"Why are you bullying my friend?!"

"Look, Jessica Jung had officially became Choi Sooyoung's friend" mocked Lina as she rolled her eyes.
"Well, we dont care about who you two are"
"Even to the extend that you two are couple"
"This work is supposed to be for you, Jessica Jung"

Jessica sighed as the three walked off in arrogantly.
Jessica then turned to Sooyoung and threw her a kind smile.

"Dont worry about this" smiled Jessica.

"I'll help you" offered Sooyoung with a genuine smile.
"I've done work like this at my appa's company"

Just then, Sooyoung's stomach growled.
Jessica laughed.

"Its okay, go and grab your lunch Sooyoung"
"Your stomach is calling for you"

Sooyoung scratched the back of her awkwardly.

"You're sure you dont need any help of mine?"

Jessica nodded.

"Alright!"
"I'll grab a quick lunch and be back real soon!"
"Believe me!!" said Sooyoung as she ran out of the office within seconds.

"She must be real hungry" whispered Jessica under her breath to herself with a soft giggle.

After everyone left the office for lunch break,
Jessica got up from her seat went all the way to Mr Jung's office.
She was supposed to help her father maintain the company after Krystal's accident.
And also to visit Krystal.

But wait, where was she going to find so much time?
At this rate, she wont even have time for herself to rest.

"Good afternoon Jessica-sshi" greeted the secretary of Mr Jung's.

Only the people of the higher position could recognise Jessica in the company.
Jessica smiled slightly before dropping her expression back into the cold her.
Her cold aura, cold gaze.

"Whats there for me today?" said Jessica coldly as she flipped through the files that was on Mr Jung's table.

"I've received the call from Mr Jung this morning"
"I've prepared the work for today for you Jessica-sshi"
"And the meetings were all pushing to 7pm and later for today"

Jessica mentally rolled her eyes.

"How great, meetings and work" mumbled Jessica softly to herself.

"Sorry?"

"Nothing"
"So thats the work for appa today?" asked Jessica, pointing to the stack of documents.

Mr Jung's secretary nodded.
Jessica then walked over and carried the documents back down to her internship office.
Back at the office, her head was buried in the piles of work.
Her work, was Mr Jung's, Tasmin's, Lina's, Jenny's as well as her own.
It was too much for her.
And it was just the first day.
Jessica was exhausted yet she couldnt tell anyone.
She didnt have anyone to turn to.

"Hmm.."
"What should i get for Jessica..?" mumbled Sooyoung to herself as she was reading through the restaurant's menu.
"She looked really tired and exhausted"

Sooyoung was recalling the tired yet kind smile Jessica threw her.
Jessica's smile, towards Sooyoung was heartwarming.
But her cold aura, came back right after the conversation stopped.
Sooyoung was determined to break Jessica's cold aura.

"Hey, can i have this?" said Sooyoung as she tapped onto the menu,
showing the waiter who was waiting for her order.

"Of course, Ms Choi"

"Take away please" added Sooyoung as she wiped with the provided napkin.
"And, please make it healthy"

"Will do" smiled the waiter before exiting back into the office.

45 minutes later, the waiter came back with a paper bag in his hands.
Handling it over to Sooyoung with respect, Sooyoung left a few 50,000 won bills to the waiter as a tip before leaving the restaurant with a satisfied smile.

Strutting into the office happily,
Sooyoung was concerned when she saw Jessica's buried in the mountain of documents.
It seems like Jessica have yet taken a break from the work ever since she left for lunch.
Standing beside Jessica, Sooyoung left the paper bag on Jessica's documents.
Jessica looked up and Sooyoung smiled.

"Your lunch Jessica" said Sooyoung proudly, pointing to the paper bag.

Jessica's eyes widened in shock.

"You bought it for me..?"

"Of course!"
"You need food and energy to work Jessica!"

"Call me Sica" smiled Jessica thankfully as she opened the bag and found a lunch pack.

It was filled with expensive seafood.
And most importantly, there were abalones.

"Wow"
"It must have costed a lot" said Jessica to Sooyoung.
"How much is it?"
"I'll pay you back"

Sooyoung shook her head immediately.

"No, its free"
"Its my treat!" insisted Sooyoung.

Deep inside Sooyoung,
She thought Jessica couldnt be able to afford the lunch.
But neither does she know that the company she's intern-ing for,
actually belonged to Jessica.
Or at least, it belonged to her partly.

"Thanks Sooyoung" replied Jessica with a smile before turning back to her work.

"Hey stop working"
"Eat something, at least!"

Jessica stopped and sighed.

"I've to finish all these first Sooyoung"
"Ms Kang is gonna start nagging at me if i dont"

"I'll help you"

"No"
"What is mine is mine"
"I dont want anyone to help me"
"Its unfair to you"

"Then why did the three throw their work to you yet didnt you say its unfair?" protested Sooyoung with a pout.

Jessica paused for a few seconds before letting out a huge sigh.

"Thats different Sooyoung"
"I dont want to create trouble"
"Nor look for trouble"

Sooyoung sighed sadly.

"Alright, continue with your work"
"But please remember to finish up your lunch!" said Sooyoung as she returned back to her seat after noticing their colleagues were all returning from their lunch break.

Hours later, when its time for the interns to knock off from work,
Jessica didnt quite managed to finish her given work.
As everyone left the office, Sooyoung stood beside her seat and watched Jessica.

Jessica sighed sadly as she pinched the bridge of her nose in stress.

"Sica!"
"Kwenchana?!" asked Sooyoung worriedly.

Jessica turned to her a smiled.

"Dont worry, im fine"
"Just a little tired thats all"
"Why havent you gone home?"

"Im waiting for you" said Sooyoung with an obvious look.

"You dont have to"
"Im not going home any time sooner" said Jessica sadly.
"You have to go home and rest and be recharged for tomorrow Sooyoung"

"You have to rest too" protested Sooyoung defensively.

"I will"
"I promise you i will rest alright Sooyoung?"
"But now you'll have to go home first"
"Okay?"

Sooyoung nodded seconds later and left the office with a dejected look.
Jessica plopped back down onto her seat, exhausted.

Jessica's POV

Why is Sooyoung so attentive to me..?
Its weird..

But how i wished the attentiveness was from my parents or Yuri.
Right, i know im no longer my parents' favourite.
And i've hurt Yuri with the words i've said earlier on.
Nothing's gonna help now.

Im sorry Yul.
I didnt mean those words earlier on.
Im really falling deep for you, but do you know?
I really love you, but do you know?
I love you yet im afraid to get hurt again.

Getting hurt twice is more than enough to be scared Yul.

End of Jessica's POV

Hours after hours,
Jessica was confined to the whole Jungs building.
To be honest, she only had a meal today.
Which was the meal Sooyoung had bought her.
And now?

Its alright past midnight.
Jessica had just finished her last meeting an hour ago.
The fatique is taking a toll on her body.
Jessica cant be over exhausted, her health isnt like any other.

Asthma, if werent treated properly and with care,
everything will turn haywire.

"Jessica-sshi" called the secretary with respect.

Jessica looked up from the work piles.

"Since the last meeting is done"
"Can i leave first?"
"My husband and son is waiting for me at home, Jessica-sshi" said the secretary timidly yet with an awkward look.

Jessica nodded.

"Thanks for today"
"Have a good rest"

"You too Jessica-sshi"
"Please head home and rest soon"
"I'll see you tomorrow"

With that, the secretary exited the room.
Jessica then packed up all her unfinished work and headed off to the hospital.
To visit her sister, Krystal.

Jessica's POV

I should visit Krystal..
I've visited right after her accident but i've yet to visit after she has woken up..

I wonder how is she right now..
She must be really scared now..

Jessica stepped into Krystal's ward quietly and saw her parents,
Mr and Mrs Jung, sleeping on the side of Krystal's bed.
Their expressions were really tired yet worried.

Looking at the scene here,
Jessica was reminded of herself when she was younger.
She had been entering the hospital for umpteen times since young and whenever it happened,
Mr and Mrs Jung would always be by her side like how they are for Krystal.

Walking to the side of Krystal,
Jessica smiled slightly as she carressed the pale latter's face.

"Unnie's sorry for not being a suitable donor for you Krystal.."
"Unnie wanted to help you, unnie's so sorry for being unable to Krystal.."
"Im willing to give up my life for yours since you've made my parents much more happier in their life"
"Except for me.." whispered Jessica sadly to Krystal as a tear escaped Jessica's tired eyes.

Jessica sat in Krystal's ward for hours.
Working for the company, holding onto 2 position in the company.
A high position and a low position.

Soon, the night was going to end and the sun was going to rise.
Watching the sky turning brighter and brighter,
Jessica decided to just pick up her stuff and leave.
Right before she left, Jessica went down to the cafeteria and bought breakfast for the three who were still sleeping.
Leaving a note on the bag of breakfast, Jessica went off.

Yuri was lying on her bed,
arms and legs are spreaded widely on the soft queen size bed.
Yuri had intentions of skipping work.
Well, the whole company knows that Yuri was the only heir to it.

So by her skipping it,
it doesnt matter much.
Its either she gets a good diploma or none of it.
Despite that, she will still be taking over the company.
Yuri wanted to spend much time with YoonA since she had officially gotten back with YoonA.

Smiling to herself,
thinking about what had happened the day before,
the confession etc,
Jessica had accidentally entered Yuri's train of thoughts.

Yuri's POV

That pabo..
Why did she push me away..?

I thought she loved me..
I know i've hurt her but why?
At times like these, cant you look at me like your best friend?
You need one by your side, dont you?
