"You're up?"

Jessica shot her a weird look as she slowly sat up from her bed.

"Why?" replied Yuri with a frown.

"Baby..?"

"Well, i've officially considered you as my girlfriend" said Yuri proudly with a smirk.
"I know you wouldnt accept me if i've asked"
"So being a little more thick skinned than usual, i've decided to self proclaim you as mine"

Jessica's mouth dropped open.

"What..?"

"You dont like it?"
"I thought you always said that you love me"
"And like so much more than me"
"Now you dont want to be mine?"
"Or you want me to confess and ask you to be mine?"

Jessica's eyes turned watery.

"Yul.."
"How could you.."
"How could you do.. this to me..?"
"How..?"
"When im already.. half way into.. my grave.."
"Im not someone.. who could last.. long with you.."

Yuri frowned with her arms folded together.

"I dont want to hear another word that links directly or indirectly to death"
"You hear me?"
"Now that i've self proclaimed you as mine"
"Everything of yours belonged to me"
"I have to right to intervene"

"Yul.."

"What have you decided?"
"To take up the treatment?" asked Yuri bluntly.

Jessica didnt know how to open up to Yuri.
She has sort of lost her sense of feel.
She doesnt have any feeling to anything anymore.

"Yul.."
"I told you..-"

"You told me you would consider" replied Yuri immediately,
completing Jessica's sentence for her.
"And i believe you will come out with a sensible answer"

Jessica shook her head sadly.

"Baby, look"
"I know, i know you've lost hope and faith in everything"
"I know im partly to blame too"
"But now, can i be a little more selfish and make you think about my stand?"
"Like how i will be without you in the future?"
"How can you give yourself up without putting on a fight?"

"Im tired.."
"Im tired of everything Yul"
"Imagine yourself being confined to the hospital"
"Without your family members by your side"
"How scary would it get?"
"How depressing would it get when your family members brushed your health aside"
"And not bothered about you?"
"I cant.."
"I just cant.."

"But there is still me, Tiff unnie and Taeyeon"
"We're gonna be here for you"
"Your parents, i'll convince them for you"
"At least, heed the doctors' advice"

"I know about my body.."
"I know.."
"Its never going to work out the way you think it will"
"Yul, its just a waste of time"

"But you're mine now"
"I want you to go through the treatments!" insisted Yuri firmly.

Jessica sighed silently.
Yuri didnt know what she was asking for.
She was indirectly asking Jessica to go through those exhausting and painful treatments without her family by her side.
Even though Yuri promised to be with Jessica,
but everyone knows that family has always been Jessica's number 1.
Followed by Yuri, being her number 2.

Jessica pondered for awhile.

"Fine, Yul"
"I'll listen to you"
"If thats what you want, but it cant promise you anything"

"Really?!"
"You're willing to go for the treatments?!" squealed Yuri excitedly.

Jessica nodded.

"But on a condition"

Yuri looked at Jessica seriously.

"What condition?"

"You've to promise me first"

Thinking for a few seconds,
Yuri nodded.

"I'll go for the treatment only if its on an outpatient basis"
"I dont want to be confined to the hospital"
"And treatment timings must be in the morning"
"Early morning"

Yuri's eyes widened at the listed conditions.

"Why?"
"Why cant you stay in the hospital?"
"Why cant the timing be up to the doctors?"

"Because i hate the hospital"
"And i want to spend the rest of the day doing other stuff"

"But you'll be exhausted after it" argued Yuri strongly.

"Well, then i guess our deal is off"

"HEY!"
"How can you!" exclaimed Yuri angrily as she chuck her hands on her waist.

"You promised, didnt you?"
"Self proclaim dont work well at times, dont you think so?" challenged Jessica as she snuggled back under the covers,
shutting her eyes tiredly.
"And i want to be discharge by today"
"Before nightfall"

"Baby.."

"..."

"Please..?"

"..."

Jessica shut her eyes,
ignoring Yuri's pleas.
Personally, Jessica didnt want to stay in the hospital because she knew staying in the hospital wouldnt work as fine.
Plus, her parents would definitely scold her from missing work.
What will she do?
Will her parents even believe that she has to be confined to the hospital?

Yuri walked out of Jessica's ward in distress and towards the doctors' office to have a mini discussion about Jessica's condition and treatment.

"Doctor, is it possible for her to get the treatment as an outpatient basis?"

The doctors frowned.

"Well, its a little dangerous.."
"Why doesnt she want to stay in the hospital..?"

Yuri shrugged as she continued.

"I've got no idea too"
"i've tried persuading her but thats the only thing she's wants in order to accept the treatment"

"I see.."
"Because if its in the hospital, she would be able to receive adequate and full medical help and support"
"If she were to receive as an outpatient, because i dont know how will she be taken care of..-"

"I'll help take care of her" offered Yuri immediately.

The doctors who were wearing glasses pushed their glasses up with a weird look.

"You?"

"Yup, i will"
"Together with Tiffany unnie"

"Dr.Hwang, you mean?"

"Yup"

The doctors turned to each other with a glance before giving a short nod.

"In that case, i think we'll go with that"
"But if the case turned too serious, we'll abort the outpatient and have it in the hospital"
"Is it okay?"

Yuri nodded immediately with a wide smile.

"Thank you doctors!!" added Yuri with a 90 degree bow.

"Dont worry, its our job"

"And Jessica wants to be discharged today.."

"What?!"

Yuri's head dropped as she averted the doctors gaze awkwardly.
The doctors sighed and continued.

"We get it"
"I'll come over in an hours time to brief her about her treatment schedule before discharging her"

"Hmm.."
"I love you.. Kim Taeyeon.." mumbled Tiffany unconsciously as her arms were hugging onto Taeyeon tightly.

Taeyeon turned to look at Tiffany and chuckled softly.

"I love you too pabo!" whispered Taeyeon dorkily but ended up with a bad coughing fit.

Tiffany immediately fumbled from her sleep and sat up immediately,
hair all dishelved and with a lost look.

Taeyeon chuckled.

Tiffany turned to Taeyeon and frowned.

"Are you feeling better our baby Taengoo?"

Taeyeon nodded with a smile.

"I doubt so"
"I tought i heard a bad coughing fit that woke me up?"

"Nope, that was from my TV" lied Taeyeon with a dorky chuckle.

Tiffany sighed as she put her hands over Taeyeon's forehead.

"You're still boiling baby" said Tiffany with a worried sigh.
"I want you to stay in bed today also okay?"

Taeyeon shook her head.

"Lets visit Sica"
"You told me about her, im really worried"

Tiffany shook her head firmly as she pushed Taeyeon back onto the bed.
Scratching her hair unawakedly, Tiffany continued.

"You cant go to the hospital when you're sick Taetae"
"Its gonna make you worse"
"When you're sick, your immune system is at its lowest"
"And not forgetting the viruses and germs around the hospital"
"You'll be defintely affected"
"For your info, i hate the fever you're having now" said Tiffany with her tongue stuck out at Taeyeon.

"But Sica needs your help.." mumbled Taeyeon with a worried frown.

"What makes you think that my baby taengoo doesnt need me now?"
"There are so many doctors out there to help her"
"There are so many with much more skillful skills in medicine"
"Why me?"
"Im for my taengoo"

Taeyeon smiled.
And sneezed.

"Im pretty sure you've to stay in bed now taetae"
"Im serious"
"I'll go and wash up before bringing something for you to eat"

"Wait, i dont want to eat" said Taeyeon with a pout.

"Why?"

"Because.."
"My arm hurts.."

"You dont have to move your arms"
"I'll feed you" replied Tiffany immediately.

Taeyeon shook her head.

"Its not it.."
"I dont have any appetite.."

"How can it be like this Taetae?"
"You've to eat to get well!"

"But i really dont feel like eating.."

Tiffany sighed with a surrendering nod.

"Arasso.."
"I'll be back in 5minutes"

5 minutes later,
Tiffany was back looking more refreshed only to see her lover falling back to a deep slumber.

Tiffany chuckled softly as she pulled the covers over Taeyeon,
not wanting anything to aggravate her cold anymore since the aircondition was on.

Sliding the ear thermometer gently into Taeyeon's ears,
Tiffany pressed on the button and a soft beep was heard.
Bringing it out. Tiffany frowned worriedly at the reading.

"I've never remembered you getting so sick Taetae"
"I've never remember your fever to not break after a day or two.."
"What is wrong..?" mumbled Tiffany to herself as millions of different medicine theory and concepts filled Tiffany's mind.

"Taetae.."
"Wake up.."

Taeyeon rolled on her bed for a few times before opening her eyes slowly.
Her whole body was aching really badly then.

"Wae..?" replied Taeyeon drowsily as she sat up on the bed,
eyes half opened.

"Taetae, im going to get your blood for some tests" said Tiffany bluntly as she picked up a syringe and headed towards Taeyeon's direction.

Taeyeon's eyes widened and quickly went under the covers.

"YAH!"
"You cant recover at this rate!" scolded Tiffany desperately as she pulled Taeyeon's covers away.
"Taetae.."

"Please.."
"I will recover, get the needle off me.." sobbed Taeyeon as she pointed to the infus that was on her and also the needle that Tiffany wanted to approach her with.
"You put this into me while i was asleep"
"Now you want to stab this into me and my blood away?"

Tiffany chuckled bitterly.

"Taetae.."
"Your fever refused to break"
"Im suspecting it to be more than a bad cold.."
"Just let me do it and as long as you're fine"
"I'll let everything go"

"It hurts!"

"No taetae, it dont!"

"It does!"
"You're not the one going through it of course you said it isnt!" protested Taeyeon with her arms folded against her chest.

Tiffany sighed.

"Okay, fair and square"
"Let me take your blood and i'll take mine to show you that im going through the same thing as you okay?" coaxed Tiffany,
helpless at how baby her lover could get.

"Deal!"

Shaking her head, Tiffany put her lover's arms on the bed,
laid up nicely and tied the rubber tubing around her milky white arms.
Giving it a light tap, Tiffany gently inserted the needle into Taeyeon's arms.

Taeyeon let out a little wince.
As Tiffany's attention was fully on Taeyeon's arms,
Taeyeon watched her girlfriend with interest.

Her girlfriend was so serious into her job.
She love the seriousness in her girlfriend.
As she watch Tiffany got tubes after tubes of blood from her,
Taeyeon frowned.

"Why are you taking so many?"

"Because its the usual procedure taetae"
"Its the usual procedure to head on with 4 tubes"

"Why do you need so many for a test!"

"We need to run a few tests, taetae" explained Tiffany as she put a green pea plaster over the cotton ball placed on Taeyeon's arms.
"Here, we're done"

Taeyeon stared at Tiffany intensely,
expecting her to do something.
Tiffany watched with a confused expression but nodded in the end.

"Arasso arasso"
"I know what you want"
"I promised you i'll do it" said Tiffany with a nod,
as if she has surrendered to her girlfriend.

Tiffany was helpless when it came to Taeyeon.
She wants to know what is wrong with Taeyeon.
She wants to help Taeyeon feel better.

Picking up the rubber tubing, Tiffany had it tied around her arms.
Tiffany didnt even give her arm a light tap to look at any obvious vein but immediately poked the needle into her arms,
and swiftly gotten 4 tubes of blood to appease the sick baby Taeyeon.

"See?"
"It dont hurt, right?" said Tiffany as she took a cotton ball to wipe the blood off before throwing it away.

"You didnt put any plaster" pouted Taeyeon as she pointed to Tiffany's arm.

"I dont need to"
"Im just showing it to you that drawing blood is not painful at all Taetae" explained Tiffany with a forceful smile.
"I donate blood regulary, dont worry"

Taeyeon felt guilty inside her for making Tiffany draw her own blood,
just to appease her and to coax her into it.

"Sorry.." apologised Taeyeon sadly as she averted Tiffany's gaze.

Tiffany put everything down and smiled.

"Its okay baby"
"Its okay, dont feel sorry"
"Its my job to coax you into everything thats beneficial to you baby" cooed Tiffany sweetly as she hugged Taeyeon,
caressing her hair.
"I want my baby to feel better before we can go out for a date"
"Its been a long time, isnt it?"

Taeyeon nodded.

"So our baby has to rest now, right?"
"To feel better"

"But dont leave me" pouted Taeyeon as she broke the hug.

Tiffany smiled and nodded.

"I wont"
"I'll just get one of my colleague to help me pick these blood samples up"
"And bring it back to the hospital for the tests"
"Dont worry"

The group of doctors walked into Jessica's ward while Jessica and Yuri were packing their belongings.
Jessica had been issued a discharge by the doctors,
unwillingly.

"Jessica-sshi"

Jessica looked up to the doctors with a nod.

"Before you leave the hospital"
"Here's your follow up card" said the doctors as they passed Jessica a white piece of card.
"There's the stated treatment date and times that Yuri-sshi had discussed with us"
"Please bring it for every treatment"

Jessica flipped open the card and read.

"What?!"
"Its 7 days a week.."

"Its 7 days for the first week"
"6 for day second and so on"
"They will decrease"
"After the whole 7 weeks, we'll come to monitor your condition before continuing it again"

Jessica sighed silently as she closed the card and put it into her wallet.

"I get it"
"I'll come by tomorrow morning at the stated timeslot.."

The doctors nodded and left the room,
leaving Yuri and Jessica in the ward alone.

"Baby.."

"Hmm..?"

"Dont be afraid, i'll be with you throughout everything"

"Yul, you dont have to do this"
"You know?"
"You have the internship to do"
"And many other stuff"
"Plus the timings for the treatment is during those kind of period when normal people arent even awake"
"I dont want you to be tiring yourself out"

Yuri smiled as she brought Jessica into a tight hug.

"Nothing is more tiring than what you're going through baby"
"I dont want to lose you"
"I've lost too much opportunity to be with you" whispered Yuri into Jessica's ears.

"Thanks Yul.."
"Thanks for being here.."
"But i think i'll get going now"

"Where do you wanna stay?"

"Back to my own house of course!"

"Your parents wont take care of you" said Yuri with a frown.

"I thought you said you will?"

"I will, but i cant possibly be in your house everyday!"
"Your parents would think theres something wrong with us!"

Jessica smiled.

"Dont worry, i'll take care of myself"

"I second that"

"Come on Yul"
"Trust me!"

"Hard"

"Nevermind then!"
"Im still going home!" said Jessica finally as she picked her bag up and left the ward.
