Haebyeol bowed her head, smiling proudly as she looked back up at the aging Japanese man standing before her. "Thank you so much for putting up with me all these months," she addressed politely. "With my stubborness, and my crappy acting, and my randomness," she giggled playfully, squealing as he pulled her into a hug.
"I couldn't have been a happier PD," the man whispered warmly, patting her head. He left, then, smiling as Hongo made his way over to Haebyeol, his own bags packed as well. He looked ahead at the vast meadow ahead of them, smiling nostalgically. "It's only been a couple of months," he stated affectionately, "how could I have possibly grown so attached to you and this place?"
Haebyeol nodded kindly, eyes glistening as they focused on the meadow. "Here," she whispered, "at this meadow... it was my favorite scene to shoot."
"The final scene, right? Where Junko finally is able to rest in peace?"
"It was heart-warming," Haebyeol whispered.
Hongo nodded, abruptly turning to bring Haebyeol into a tight hug. "Listen," he croaked hoarsely. "I'm sorry about the kiss scene, if it bothered your boyfriend. But I also thank you for being such a good sport; I also thank your boyfriend for not personally coming here to beat the out of me, too," Hongo chuckled, releasing the flustered Haebyeol.
"Yeah," she giggled. "And.. I hope I didn't you know.. steal your first kiss or anything."
Hongo shrugged, dismissing the casual topic. "It's been months since that day, and we're just talking about it now?" he inquired with humorous rhetoric. "You didn't just fyi," he chuckled. "But.. you must've put on quite the show; my boyfriend called me right after the episode was launched, and lectured me all night about how I looked like I enjoyed your kiss better than the ones I share with him."
Haebyeol's head shot up. "Boy-boyfriend?!" she echoed incredulously.
Hongo chuckled, throwing his head back with witty laughter. "A waste of a handsome face, isn't it?" he joked casually, giving a nonchalant shrug of his shoulders. He glanced down warmly at his shoes, before locking his eyes with Haebyeol. "Dongsaeng, was it?" Haebyeol nodded fervently. "Maybe you could meet him sometime, my boyfriend," Hongo offered kindly. "If you know.. maybe it could give you an excuse to visit me sometime?"
Haebyeol laughed, throwing her head back as well, grinning ear to ear. "I'm going to miss you, you know, Hongo-kun."
"Well, I'll be here in Tokyo... maybe if you do decide to come again, you can bring your own boyfriend."
"Ah," Haebyeol sighed playfully, "I'd rather not."
"Why not?" Hongo whined, blinking childishly.
"You just might steal his heart!" Haebyeol giggled, nudging him.
Hongo glanced up, giggling boyishly. "C'mon," he whispered warmly, throwing an amiably arm around Haebyeol's shoulders. "Your flight is boarding, tomadachi."
Kyo jin looked up bashfully at Onew. "You didn't have to walk me home," she whispered, giggling shyly. Onew, in reply, chuckled huskily, planting a soft cheek on Kyo Jin's cheek.
"I know," he returned shortly. "But I'd rather know personally you made it home safe than risk you being swept away by some other guy."
"That wouldn't happen," Kyo Jin assured him confidently. "No one could compare to you..."
Onew smiled gratefully, pulling Kyo Jin into a knee-wobbling hug. "I'll see you soon," he whispered softly into her ear.
His voice lingered at her ear warmly, the sensation of his cool breath trickling down her spine as she waved dreamiliy to him; she finally slipped back into the comfort of her dorm room, once she was sure he was safely tucked away behind the corner. "Bye, oppa," she giggled softly to herself.
She sighed happily, leaning her back against the door. "Someone either just got laid or asked out, or kissed by her ultimate bias."
"Or all three," Hannie chirped, leaning casually against Kisa.
"I vote for all three," Kisa nodded, watching Kyo Jin limply stalk back into her bedroom. "Definitely all three."
"Or more than just those three," Hannie mused, blinking. "It's been months. I'm surprised she's not used to the fact that Onew is pretty much calling her yeobo already."
"And what about you, Hannie-kins? Kevin's pretty much begging you to call him jagiya!"
"We're not even together!"
"Says the kiss he gave you last night!"
Hannie rolled her eyes. "It was not a kiss."
"His tongue was practically down your throat!"
"It was not! I'm 17, thanks! Not ready for explicit stuff yet!"
Kisa rolled her eyes. "Says the one that has wet dreams about B-Bomb."
"Hah, as if you're one to talk! Having wet dreams about a with Hyunseung-hyung and Junhyung-hyung?! Who's sicker, now, huh!?"
"I'm a grown woman, it's only natural!"
"My foot, unnie!"
"This has nothing to do with your foot, Hannie!"
"Mehrong!"
"Aish, this brat!"
Anna stared at Taeyang awkwardly, who glanced back at her with an equivalent discomfort. "So," Taeyang started awkwardly. "I think --"
"I want to seriously start a relationship," Anna declared breathlessly, playing with the hems of her skirt. "Like.. a serious one.. with you."
Taeyang blinked incredulously, a shy smile twitching at the corners of his lips. "You're... serious, right?"
Anna nodded. "Yeah."
Hyun Suk scanned Ava and Haebyeol intently, a prideful smirk lining his chapped lips. "I'm actually proud of you two."
"Style would've been a lot better with us, though," Ava retorted softly.
"Much better," Haebyeol agreed.
"Relax, girls. Don't get yourselves in such a knot. I've already planned a full-on comeback with you two back in the group. It's a new, techno-pop sound that will really reach the teenage audience, as well as the young-adult ranges. ELiTE will be back as one, you'll be a whole again, fans are happy, my crews are happy, and they're happy ever after for the rest of their careers," Hyun Suk joked earnestly. He grinned at the two confused girls, chuckling lowly at their knitted eyebrows. "It's my way of saying I missed you girls more than you could imagine," he whispered warmly.
Ava beamed, with Haebyeol following suit. "Well, we missed you, too, Abeoji," Haebyeol giggled.
"So uh.. when do we start training again?"
"And what's the song title?"
"When's our comeback date?"
"Our dating ban is lifted, right?"
Hyun Suk sighed playfully, feining an annoyed look. He glanced back up seriously at the girls, before softening his gaze on their hopeful looks. "You start training tomorrow; it's called 'Pop Pop Pop'; the comeback date would be around December; and yes. I have lifted your dating ban, since these past few months, you girls have been behaving so well."
Ava and Haebyeol snickered, recalling their past phonecalls and video chats with the collective members of their beloved music entourage. Not as innocent as he thought, to be honest.
But hey, who were they to tell.
"Ne, Abeoji!"
"Welcome back, girls."
Seungri twirled his finger around Vivien's hair aimlessly, cradling her in his arm as she engrossed herself in the latest episode of To the Beautiful You. "He's not even that handsome," Seungri complained, gesturing to Hyunwoo. "What do you like about him so much?"
"Everything," Vivien retorted mindlessly, brushing away Seungri's puckered lips.
"Yah!"
"I have seven minutes; just wait till then and I'm all yours."
Seungri growled, shutting off the tv fiercely, as he yanked the bowl of popcorn away from Vivien. "No!" he stubbornly declared. "You're going to play with me, now!"
Vivien gritted her teeth together, drawing nervous giggles from Seungri. "Jagiya," he cooed, blowing her playful kisses.
"Lee Seunghyun, you're too much."
"But you love me, so it's okay. Now off to the bedroom!"
"Don't push it."
"Off to the ice cream parlour~!"
