This is just a filler btw sorry guise but I'm lazy but I just thought you'd want an update so I'm here bc I love yall.
"I'm not saying it's a bad thing she's found someone she's interested in in; it's just bad if it gets out to the public right? And that could cause a lot of problems for ELiTE as well as her own personal well being. Ava is capable, but a lot of scandals and rumours and hate can cause anyone to break down. Even Kisa-unnie once, got fired and riled up over hate comments. She wouldn't come out of her room for hours, and once she finally did, it was because she had to go pee from too much alcohol intake, and --"
"You're worried," Onew chuckled, patting Kyo Jin's head. "But really, don't worry yourself and put your health at risk. As you said, Ava is capable. Let her handle it for now on her own, and once things really get out of hand, then help her." The elder male flashed Kyo Jin a heart-warming smile, taking her breath away for just a second. ANd for that one second, Kyo Jin nearly forgot what she was talking about.
"R-right," she coughed, clearing awkwardly. She scooted over, widening the distance between them on the barren park bench. It was late; late evening at most, with the sun barely setting. Kyo Jin had called up Onew in hopes of releasing stress. And being the dependable man he was, he took her out for crepes and ice cream, for a stroll along the Han River, managing to clear her mind for the most part, until now.
"What if Ava really does get into trouble?" Kyo Jin pouted. "ELiTE is already under a lot of trouble because of Byeollie."
Onew chuckled, his euphonious laughter ringing through Kyo Jin's reddening ears. "As I said, you seven are all capable girls that are perfectly fine as individuals. You're all strong. Just let her handle it for now, and if she needs help, she'll tell you guys. She's brighter than you take her for," Onew noted warmly. He nudged Kyo Jin playfully. "And why are you so far away? Do you still think boys have cooties?"
"O-of course not!" Kyo Jin blurted, sprawling her fingers over the bottom half of her face with embarassment. She sniffled, clearing . "I mean, no," she stated blandly.
Onew chortled heatily, clutching his stomach, using his free hand to intertwine itself around Kyo Jin's right hand. "Let's go," he remarked, smiling radiantly down at the shorter party. Kyo Jin blinked innocently up at him. "Where?"
"I'm gonna walk you home," Onew stated defiantly.
"But it's not Byeollie-unnie's fault," Hannie finalized. "So what if she likes Lu Han-hyung? Can she control that? No. So what if she's in a relationship? Being an idol means you can't date? That's blasphemy!" she cried out, flailing her arms. "Kevin," she whispered, "you're an American. They accept idol couples there, right? Don't you think we should just ship off Byeollie-unnie and Lu Han-hyung there?"
Kevin laughed brightly, fixing his cardigan as he wrapped his scarf tighter around his neck. He pushed up his fake glasses, humming indignantly. "I wouldn't necessarily deem that to be a good idea," he contradicted wisely. "If we ship them off, people might start rumours about them eloping or about Haebyeol secretly bearing Lu Han-shii's child or something. It's best the way it is now. With Haebyeol-shii in Japan and the other in China, rumours die down quick since they have no gossip on them. Let it die down and they can be together again; this time, being more careful."
Hannie blinked boredly at Kevin's tedious soliloquy. "No," she objected. She lifted her hands, indicating her speech, "Haebyeol and Lu Han," she slurred slowly, "to America. Boom, happily ever after."
"No," Kevin drawled, chuckling warmly. "Lu Han and Haebyeol," he repeated, childishly pouting, "is a no no, Hannie."
Hannie rolled her eyes, leaning back in her chair, her disguise nearly falling off from the sudden gesture. "Then you come up with something, you oppa-genius," she scoffed, sipping on her coffee. Her thick fedora fell just above her thick-framed glasses, but Kevin could still see her peering up curiously at him from behind her short lashes.
"I already did come up with something," Kevin contrasted matter-of-factly, "and it's the exact same thing your president is proposing. We keep them in two different countries till everything clears up."
"I mean something that doesn't involve six desperate love-sick girls missing their seventh sister," Hannie groaned.
Kevin lfited a brow. "Six desperate love-sick girls?" he repeated incredulously. A mischievious determination flashes across his picturesque visage.
"Isn't that what I said? Six," Hannie confirmed.
"Without Haebyeol, there are six of you guys," Kevin stated slowly, hoping Hannie would realize her [not-so] mistake.
Hannie nodded. "Yeah," she voiced, volume increasing with a pending impatience. "Six desperate love-sick girls.. all, excluding Byeol-unnie."
Kevin smiled wistfully, chuckling lowly. Hannie arched a probing brow, about to question his strange tactics, until Kevin opened his mouth snarkily:
"Does that mean, then, Hannie-ah, that you're one of those six desperate love-sick girls?"
Ava slipped cautiously through the back doors, having successfully dodged the waiting fans outside. She let out a soft sigh, pulling off her cap, but squeaking at the sound of tapping feet resonating behind her. She cursed herself mentally, praying desperately to the gods above. Slowly, she turned, clutching her hand bag to vent out her pending trepidation and suspicion.
A sigh of sweet relief escaped her lips as she found Jiyong standing there idly, in his pink-haired glory and stage outfit vanity. He smirked at her with a brotherly affection, walking up to her. He gave a ruffle to her already disheveled hair, chuckling lowly as he conspicuously shook his head. "Abeoji wants to see you in his office," Jiyong stated plainly. "Checked your room and you weren't there, so I thought I'd wait for you here."
Ava bit her lip. "Does... How long has been expecting me?" she whispered.
"Since last night," the elder replied briskly.
"Does he know where I was? Who I was with?"
Jiyong was silent, bringing the worst possibilities to Ava's mind. She shook her head, incredulous. "Did they rat me out?" she blurted.
Jiyong's nod evidentally confirmed her contemptuous suspicions. "We all did, so don't just blame the girls," Jiyong stated sternly. "You know better, Ava-ah," he whispered scoldingly. "What were you thinking?"
"Obviously that I could get away with it!" she whispered furiously.
Jiyong paled strangely, turning his head quickly before turning on his heel, and stalking off quickly. Ava was about to open to yell at him, when a loud cough sounded to her left. She turned, jumping suddenly.
Her hand full upon her heart, grasping it as she gasped for air. "A-abeoji!"
"Have fun last night.. Hara?"
She winced.
Because it seems like Abeoji was dropping the stage names, and going straight to a first name basis.
