Saemin looked up and saw Taemin and Minho.

 

She stood up and Taemin’s dad turned to look at both of them and smiled.

 

“Sit down, both of you. You missed desert so we thought that we could save you some.”

 

Taemin’s dad said and gestured for both of them to take a seat.

 

Minhoand Taemin looked at each other and walked to their seats and sat down and began to slowly each desert.

 

“So did you guys sort everything out?”

 

Saemin asked and Taemin nodded his head.

 

Taemin’s dad turned back to Minho and stood up and walked up towards him.

 

Minhoand Taemin stopped eating desert and stood up.

 

Taemin’s dad looked at his son and Minho and then, taking both their hands, he put them together.

 

Minhoand Taemin looked at each other, their hands holding each others hand.

 

Taemin’s dad put his hands on Minho’s shoulder.

 

“My Taemin-ah is the type of boy who likes to get what he wants and he whines and-“

 

“Dad!”

 

Taemin whined and everyone laughed.

 

Saemin walked around the table and stood next to Taemin’s dad.

 

“And,”

 

She continued for him.

 

“He has some very weird habits that you ought to know.”

 

“Mum!”

 

Taemin said, embarrassed.

 

Once again, everyone laughed and Minho smiled down at Taemin.

 

“It doesn’t matter Taemin. He’s going to find out anyway!”

 

Saemin said and everyone laughed.

 

“Mum! Dad! You sound like as if I’m marrying him!”

 

NOW, everyone was laughing and clutching their stomach.

 

“What?! I’m saying the truth!”

 

Minhostopped laughing and looked at Taemin, one hand on each of his shoulders.

 

“Do you want to marry me?”

 

Taemin stared at Minho.

 

Taemin pouted.

 

“That isn’t a very good joke hyung~”

 

Taemin whined and Minho smiled and hugged him.

 

Suddenly, the grandfather clock in another room chimed 8 o’clock.

 

Minholooked at Taemin and then back down at Taemin’s parents.

 

“I have to go. I have some homework I need to finish before I sleep.”

 

Minhosaid to Taemin’s parents and began to leave.

 

When he left the house, Taemin stood there, his parents behind him.

 

Suddenly, Taemin was pushed forward by his parents. Taemin fumbled a bit and turned to look at Saemin quizzically.

 

“Go send him off.”

 

Saemin said and continued to push him away.

 

“Shoo! Shoo!”

 

Saemin said and Taemin pouted and then turned around to catch up with Minho.

 

“Hey…”

 

Taemin said and Minho turned around to face Taemin whilst walking slowly towards Minho’s face.

 

He suddenly, grabbed Taemin’s hand and held it in his, their finger entwined with each other.

 

When they had reached Minho’s empty and black house they turned to each other.

 

Minhokissed Taemin’s forehead and kissed his nose.

 

“I’ll pick you up from school tomorrow okay?”

 

Taemin looked up at Minho and smiled, nodding.

 

“Okay. I’ll see you tomorrow then.”

 

And Minho walked off, opened the door and went in, waving to Taemin before closing the door behind him.

 

Taemin looked at the closed door and suddenly he blushed.

 

He didn’t know that things would turn out this way and he certainly didn’t plan things to become like this either.

 

He just wanted to be friends with Minho.

 

Nothing more.

 

But now…

 

Taemin didn’t know what to think and he turned around and began to take a short but slow trip home, his mind thinking about how he was going to face Minho tomorrow and occasionally wandering back the bit when Minho kissed him on his bed.
