the way your chest rises and falls and your soft snores
I miss the surprise I get and the smile
when you suddenly open your eyes and laughs
I miss the mornings when we sit at the table
wearing your warm sweater with my cold feet on top of yours
I miss the coffee you make and the tattered eggs
your pretty fingers around the mug
I miss the sound of your heartbeat
that soft voice of yours when you say those three words
I miss the pinks on your cheeks
you don’t like saying mushy things but you said them still for me
