He woke up with a sudden jolt.

He had a nightmare. A vivid one. A horrible one.

He watched the person he loved the most, died in front of him.

It was unbearable. The terrifying images wouldn’t stay away from him. He felt like he was going crazy at the moment.

“Kyungsoo hyung?” A hand reached to his shoulder, and he looked to the owner of the hand. The person he loved the most was there, with a pair of sleepy eyes and an equally sleepy smile. For a moment, he was relieved that the nightmare wasn’t real.

“Jongin-ah.” He couldn’t help wrapping his arms immediately at the said boy, tightly and protectively.

“What’s going on, Hyung? Did you have a nightmare?”

“I, uh,” he hesitated for a bit, but he shook his head after a moment, “It was nothing. Let’s just go back to sleep.”

“Mmm. Okay.”

Even though he couldn’t see it, he could feel that the younger boy in his arms had decided to close his eyes back, his breathing slowly became steadier. He was sure that the boy was falling asleep really quickly.

He decided to sleep as well, but the nightmare was still bugging him a lot. He felt like he couldn’t sleep at all. He was afraid of the possibility that such a nightmare would come true.

“It was just a dream...” he tried to reassure himself again, whilst tightening his hold of the person he loved the most.

tbqh I felt restless too when writing this .__. but it's done so it's all good I guess (except for the quality idek u_u)
