That day, when Baekhyun was busy chewing the kimchi spaghetti that Kyungsoo made, Chanyeol suddenly rushed into the kitchen, and set his eyes immensely at the munching boy.

The situation became heavy all of the sudden. Baekhyun stopped eating, Kyungsoo stopped cooking, and both were aware of Chanyeol’s bloodshot eyes and a serious expression etched on his face. It must’ve been something was wrong.

“You,” he pointed at Baekhyun, but then he didn’t say anything else as he dragged the boy from his seat, through the living room (where Jongin and Sehun were watching TV together), to their shared room.

And Chanyeol practically wasted no time trapping Baekhyun between the wall and his long arms.

“W-w-what happe—” Baekhyun’s words were quickly muffled by Chanyeol’s large hand, the taller of the two still looked at him very seriously. Baekhyun really wondered what was going on, what did he do until he got this treatment from his roommate.

“You make me unable to sleep,” Chanyeol accused the shorter boy. Baekhyun stared back at him, his vision clouded with confusion because why would he become the reason to the other boy’s insomnia?

“All night, I’ve been listening to your whimpering. And when it stopped, your face conjured up in my mind again. It happened for days already, and I can’t sleep because of it. I don’t know what’s going on, but I know it must’ve been you who caused it. Now tell me, what have you done that makes me feel like this, huh?”

Baekhyun blinked once after listening to the younger’s rant. When Chanyeol let go of his hold on the boy’s mouth, Baekhyun couldn’t help but start giggling after that.

“What’s so funny about this?” Chanyeol asked seriously, but the way his eyebrows frown made Baekhyun wanted to laugh at full force. But he managed to calm himself down after a couple of seconds.

“That must mean... I did something.” Baekhyun looked at the taller with a mischievious glint in his eyes. “I admit, Sir, I stole a piece of your heart.”

Chanyeol was taken aback by his answer. “You...you did?”

“Yeah.” Baekhyun nodded, pretending to be solemn about it. “But there’s a way to give it back to you.”

“What is it? Tell me!” Chanyeol gripped Baekhyun’s shoulders and shook it until the shorter of the two felt a little dizzy, but his smile resurfaced with a curious look on his eyes.

“Kiss me. Right here.” He touched his own lips with his finger. Chanyeol’s eyes widened at the requirement, as he seemed hesitating for now, his hands leaving Baekhyun’s shoulders slowly.

But in the next second, he crushed his lips against the elder's.

“You should try harder if you want to get it back~”
