It had been really nerve-wracking in the beginning. All these times, I had always been spending my time in the practice room, dancing and singing according to the music, but this time, I was going to do it in front of the public, with thousands pairs of eyes watching his every move, eyes full of anticipation, of what’s going to be showed for them.

“Hyung.” Sehun sat next to me; a bottle of water shoved in front of me. “You seem so nervous, Hyung. Maybe you can use some water.”

“Thanks a lot, Sehun-ah.” I accepted the bottle of water and gulped about half of it. “Well, it had been seven years for me after all. The training has ended...and I’m only a few more steps away from my dream.”

“Our dream, Hyung. All of us.” I gave back the bottle to him, and this time he drank the remaining water.

“I hope those people outside will like us,” I muttered to myself, but I guess Sehun heard me, because after finishing the water, he looked at me with some sort of insurance in his gaze.

“Of course they will, Hyung. You need to relax for a bit.”

“I don’t know...” This time I dared myself to look into his eyes. “You’ll be there till the end, right?”

He nodded with slight aegyo. “You should be there till the end too, our Leader Hyung, since you are my lucky charm!”

Somehow I felt my insides melt hearing those words.

“All right, Guys, we’re starting!” One of the crew called out to us, but before that, we did our group cheering first. We put our hands together in a circle, and then we shouted the words together.

“EXO, saranghaja!”

And then we walked towards the stage, to the beginning of our dream.
