The wind was strong that day, and he didn’t think it could be any stronger right now.

The wind made his pale skin even colder than it already was.

The wind made his hair turning into a mess. There was really no use tucking it behind his ears, it would just blow right away.

A lot of papers were in his grip. Those were letters filled with messy handwriting, scribble, and even some doodle here and there. Most doodles were in a heart shapes, and there were a lot of words like I love you and I need you I wish I’d be by your side for eternity written on the paper. Some words were already strike out so thickly, making it impossible to read.

There were also a few photographs of two figures. One showed them holding each other’s hands, some other holding each other’s shoulders, and one showed the two of them kissing each other on the lips. Also another bunch of pictures where they were just posing for the camera with bright smiles and quirky poses.

All he needed was to let them all go. And he did.

All the letters, all the photographs left his hands, blown by the strong wind into scattered mess on the air. It was somehow beautiful, but painful at the same time.

He knew by doing this, he’d never be able to do a visit to his past memory, because they were all blown away by the wind.

He’d just forget everything again like how he had been, starting anew from page one.
