He’s been waiting for his girlfriend to arrive at the park. Well, he had offered her to pick her up at her place, but she refused, telling him to meet at the park where they first met instead. So he complied with her request, and has shown up at the designated place five minutes early. Meanwhile, it’s been ten minutes he waits there. She’s not usually late when they’re going out or something. He wonders why.

A few seconds into his thought, a taxi can be seen stopping by the entrance of the park. A girl with stunning look, with a nice looking dress and stiletto comes out of the taxi, slightly wobbling. Her hair is up in a tidy bun, and she’s also holding a purse that he’s never seen before. When she finally catches a glimpse of her boyfriend, she waves frantically at him.

“Chanyeol-ah!” she calls excitedly, almost running to him if not for the dangerous stiletto. She walks attentively, definitely not used to the feeling of her shoes, and instead, Chanyeol runs to her to save her the trouble of walking in high heels.

“Wow… what happened to you, Jeje?”

She looks down embarrassingly, holding her purse tight. “Well… my friends suggested me for a makeover for once. They say you might be bored by my ‘nonchalant’ look or whatsoever… If only they didn’t promise me to buy me ice cream for two weeks I really wouldn’t agree to them!”

And she keeps on blabbering on plenty of reasons why she has this sudden transformation, until he puts a finger on .

“Hey, hey, I get it, okay? But just you know, I don’t really mind about how you look outside, because you’re still beautiful to me even if your hair gets messed up. I won’t mind about it, as long as your feelings for me don’t change.”

She smiles charmingly at him. “Well that’s a relief to hear. But thank you.”

All of the sudden, she crouches, fumbling with her shoes. He looks at her curiously, and realizes once she lifts one of the removed shoes in the air.

“Then I can remove this and you’ll still love me, right? Because it’s such a burdensome to walk in these heels.”

Chanyeol laughs shortly at her antics. “Well, yes, I’ll still love you. But you can’t just walk without any shoes around on our date, right?”

“Then give me a piggyback! Or buy me a new pair of shoes that doesn’t have high heels like these!”

Chanyeol dreads the first option, so he goes with the second. “Okay, let’s buy you some new shoes.”

“Ah, thank you so much, Chanyeol-ah!” She removes the other shoes and says, “Let’s go!”

“Hey, you seriously are going to go to the shoe store without any shoes?”

“I dread these stilettos! Let’s just go now before I change my mind!”

Before I change my mind, you mean, Chanyeol retorts mentally, but he complies anyway. They lace their fingers together, as they leave to the nearest shoe store by the park.

Saturday night brings out my desire to go on a date with someone. And I am really just... biased today. LOL /hides in the corner
