Chapter XL: The Caller no. 2

Jessica was already at the balcony when she answered the phone.

“Hello Sooyoung? Sorry if I didn’t answer it immediately.”

“Hi also Jessica. It’s ok, sorry if I disturb you.” Sooyoung was on the other line.

“No it’s alright, by the way how’s your cold?” Jessica changed her mood all of the sudden when she heard Sooyoung’s voice.

“I’m fine and no more sneezing. By the way, thanks for the porridge because of that I am feeling well now.”

“Really? That’s good. I’m happy to hear that.”

“Anyways, about the lunch and the dinner Jessica. I am so sorry I can’t make it again.”

“I knew that.” Then Jessica was back to her mood awhile ago when she remembered about Krystal.

“Huh? How come? Did Krystal told you already?”

“No. I figured it out.”

“Ah I see.. Sorry about that. I didn’t expect it though.”

“It’s alright. You don’t have to feel sorry, it was my fault actually. I mean, I can’t discipline my sister.”

“So it’s okay if I ask her out then?”

“You mean, you ask her out?”

“No.. No.. I mean, she’s the one who ask me and I can’t say no.”

“Just as I thought, she’s just like you Sooyoung, stubborn.”

“Hehehe.. I guess you’re right. So Jessica, it’s a yes or no?”

“Hmm.. Is it today right?”

“Yup.. Lunch and dinner.”

“What?! Two in a row?”

“Yeah.. You can say that.”

“Aish.. That Krystal.. She really read the message and call you after right?”

“Yeah.. You’re right again. So what now?”

“Why you’re asking me Sooyoung? I mean, she’s the one who ask you right? So it’s up to you.”

“Well, I can’t resist your sister Jessica.”

“Then you said yes. So yes, go out with her.”

“Okay.”

“Okay then.”

“Umm, Jessica? Is still there?”

“Yup.”

“I see. So it’s really a yes? I mean, we can set up our dinner ahead.”

“It’s up to you Sooyoung.”

“Alright. I will plan it later.”
