As Key sat there and Onew stood there they didn't know what to say, or what to do.

“Umm…”

“Umm…”

Key and Onew said at the same time.

“You go first.” Key said politely.

“It’s fine…you can go first.” Onew said with a gesture of a hand.

“You’re older. You first.” Key insisted.

Onew sighed and began to speak, giving up on arguing with Key.

“Did you…really mean it…?

“Mean what?” Key asked.

Onew looked at the boy in front of him.

He wanted to ask.

But he didn’t want to force Key to answer him.

“Never mind.” Onew said and tried to change the topic.

“Do you want to have some fruit? Apples or pear? I’ll cut the skin off.” Onew asked, looking at Key.

“What do you mean? I don’t understand the question?” Key said, his eyes serious, his voice insistent.

Onew didn’t speak and chose and apple seeing as Key loved apples the most.

“What do you mean?”

Still Onew didn’t reply and concentrated on peeling the skin off the apple.

“Onew.”

Onew still didn’t say anything.

“YAH! LEE JINKI! ARE YOU DEAF?!” Key shouted at Onew.

Onew stopped peeling the skin off the apple and put it down on the white bed side table.

Onew looked at Key and sighed.

“Jinki…-“

“Onew.” Onew said.

“Oh…Mianhae Onew hyung…” Key said, an apologetic smile on his face.

-SILENCE-

“What did you mean by that question hyung?” Key asked again, becoming desperate for an answer.

Onew sighed again and gave Key a bright smile.

Key’s heard raced and he blushed.

“I just wanted to know if you were serious…about…”

Onew trailed off, looking at his hands.

“What I said to you when I woke up?” Key said, finishing off Onew’s sentence.

Onew looked at Key.

“You were acting…?”

Onew said, his voice quiet and cold, his eyes filled with thunder and looked murderous.

“Mianhae Onew hyung…I didn’t mean to…”

Onew began to get up but Key’s hand shot out and grabbed Onew’s hand.

Onew looked down at Key, his eyes as hard as before.

Key gulped and whispered to Onew.

“Mianhae…”

Onew’s hand slipped out of Key’s hand and he began to walk towards the door, out of the room.

*CRASH*

Onew heard a loud sound and his head snapped back towards the bed and saw that the bed was empty, the bed sheets everywhere.

Onew’s eyes instantly shot down to the ground and saw Key’s back facing up and his arms and legs sprawled everywhere.

“What do you think you’re doing?!” Onew shouted at Key, his voice filled with panic.

Onew’s mouth was about to shout out more things when he say Key’s face.

Tears were streaming down Key’s face and his eyes were read from crying.

Onew looked at Key and his heart ached at the sight of his best friend and lover.

“Mianhae hyung… I didn’t mean to…”

“Hush Key…get back onto your bed and get some rest okay?”

Onew tried to help Key and when he was sitting there on the bed Key began to talk again.

“I was just embarrassed so I tried to act oblivious to you’re question…” Key continued to say, tears dropping every second onto his clothes and occasionally on the bed.

“I know…I know…” Onew said, still trying to get Key onto the bed.

“NO! YOU DON’T KNOW!” Key shouted.

Onew froze and looked at Key.

“Mianhae Key…”

Onew said quietly, his hands by his side.

“I meant it. Every single word I said was true. Every single one.”

Onew looked at Key and gave him a smile.

“I’m glad that it was my imagination running away with me…I’m glad…”

Suddenly, Onew was crying.

Key was shocked at seeing his lover cry like this.

“Hyung…why are you crying? Shouldn’t you be happy?”

“I am! But…when you dropped into my arms by the street…I thought that I was never going to hear you voice again…let alone those words…I thought that I was dreaming…” Onew cried, smiling at the same time.

“Hyung.”

Key said.

Onew stopped crying and looked at Key.

“I love you.”

“I love you.”

“I love you.”
