Of course I smiled at Lay. Oh unicorn. Why must you be so observant? We gotta badass over here, ya'll. Uh-oh. Brotha. You did not just observe me like a pro.
"Lay Lay lay, why oh why, you're so funny!" I squealed like a seal and hit his shoulder.
"Ms. Zhang, are you sure you were watching Running Man?" He asked and gulped down the apple juice. His Adam's apple moved in a certain fashion.
"Ne. I wasn't partying, you silly youngster." I told him. Noona mode on, but we're both 20 years old.
He acts like a 40-year old . He's not fond of skinship. Explains everything. I sometimes laugh at Lay because he's like a mute. He doesn't talk a lot.
Either way, I'm quite threatened. He's got the skills. Ayt. He's got the skills.
"You weren't partying? Oh, alright. I stand corrected." He voiced. He's got that noble kind of voice, the one that sounds regal and righteous... the type of voice that never seems to crack.
I nodded. Lay squinted his eyes a bit and nodded back. "If that's what you say, Ms. Aya Zhang." He said. He looked convinced.
But obviously, I'll keep on pretending. I have to guard myself from Lay's prying eyes.

I just kept myself busy with my job. I didn't really pay much attention to Lay because it seemed like he believed me when I said that I wasn't partying.
