When he checked in her room, she wasnt there. He looked around the house, she wasnt there too, he quickly goes out, he felt relief when he found her in the garden with modoo on her lap. She's staring at the flowers. Her face, its emotionless. 'arent you cold?' he asks from her back. She startles and turns to her back. Their eyes met. But then, she stares back to the flower, 'am fine' she says. He feels the awkwardness between them. They didnt even talk before. They are together for a week now, but they really didnt share a good conversation. Maybe its time to try. He sits beside her. 'monae ah' he calls her attention. She moves her head a little to him but never meet his eyes. 'i just want to apologize for everything i had done to you. . .am really sorry' he says. She meets his eyes. He looks intently to her, he gives his best smile, 'let's try to be friends atleast for the sake of our child'. He holds her hand and kiss them. 'okay?' he asks.
