Out For Blood

Dark Streets of Seoul

“Hello?” Sungyeol said as he answered his phone with a yawn.  He looked over at the clock.  It was 7am. “Who the dares to call me at this time of the day?”

“, Yeol!  You need to get out of town!”

“Seungho?” Sungyeol got up from his bed as he heard the elder’s voice, “What? Why?”

“T.O.P’s men are here in the District. They already murdered Mir and Joon.  They’re in Thunder’s headquarters right now.”

“What?” Sungyeol jumped out of his bed and ran to Dongwoo’s which was across the hall from his.

“You need to get out of here!  Get out of Hoya’s mansion now!” Seungho shouted.  Suddenly Seungho’s scream pierced Sungyeol’s ear.  He heard a gunshot and then a thud as something heavy fell to the ground beside the phone.

“Dongwoo!  Get up!” Sungyeol barged into Dongwoo’s room and was surprised when the blond wasn’t there.

“!  Where the is he?” Sungyeol started calling him.

Myungsoo opened his eyes as the sunlight streamed through the windows.  He jumped back when he realized that he was on the bed with his arm around Sungjong’s waist.  He had no idea how he’d moved from the floor to the bed, but at the same time he couldn’t force himself to move his hand away.  It felt so comfortable.  He inched closer to the boy and let his chin nudge itself behind the boy’s neck. Seconds later he felt Sungjong squirming away from him. Myungsoo closed his eyes and let Sungjong go.

“I know you’re awake,” Sungjong turned around in bed.  Myungsoo slowly opened his eyes and saw Sungjong turn red and avoid his gaze.

“You were joking before right? About us being in love?” Sungjong asked.

“Can’t you see yourself being in love with me?” Myungsoo raised an eyebrow as he brought his face closer to Sungjong.  Sungjong gulped.

Myungsoo brought his face closer and before he could resist, he placed his lips softly on Sungjong’s.  Even though Sungjong resisted at first, he felt himself kissing Myungsoo back.  Myungsoo brought a hand to Sungjong’s cheek and then wiped at the boy’s bangs.

Suddenly Sungjong stiffened as memories of someone grabbing his hair roughly came into his mind. Sungjong pushed Myungsoo off of him as he tried to process what he just remembered.

“What’s wrong?” Myungsoo asked.  He put a hand on Sungjong’s shoulder. The boy flinched in pain.

Myungsoo roughly grabbed Sungjong and reached out to lift the younger's shirt..  Sungjong's instincts kicked in and he was about to punch Myungsoo.

            “Hey what are you---“

Myungsoo grazed a hand over Sungjong’s stomach, “You didn’t tell me you were that injured.”

Sungjong stopped fighting back when he realized that Myungsoo only wanted to inspect his injuries.

“It’s okay,” Sungjong said.  He involuntarily flinched as Myungsoo’s hand touched the gash on his chest.

“Let me take care of you,” Myungsoo said softly as his eyes met Sungjong's.

Sungjong nodded wordlessly at Myungsoo’s warm words.  Even though he wanted to know who he really was, Sungjong didn’t mind if he didn’t know as long as Myungsoo acted this caring towards him.  Especially with the memories that Sungjong was suddenly getting.

“Wow I missed eating breakfast with you,” Dongwoo said as he back-hugged Sunggyu.

Sunggyu laughed as he turned around and kissed Dongwoo, “It’s only toast.”

“You know I didn’t really mean breakfast right?” Dongwoo chuckled as he grabbed the plate from Sunggyu and brought it to the table.  He paused as he saw a note on it.

“Who is Wonnie?” he asked as he held up the note.  His gaze darkened.

“It was just a kid.  His name was Howon.”

Dongwoo dropped the cup of orange juice in his hand, “What? Howon?”

Was it the same Howon that Dongwoo worked for?  Even though few knew that Hoya’s real name was Howon, Dongwoo couldn’t help but start panicking.

But before Sunggyu or Dongwoo could say anything more, Dongwoo’s phone rang.

“Dongwoo we need to get out of here!  T.O.P’s out to kill us!  He’s killed all of MBLAQ!”

“!  Are you kidding me?” Dongwoo got up from his seat and grabbed his coat from the ground.

Sunggyu got up, “Where are you going?”

“Meet me at Fiction hideout.  We’ll figure out what to do from there.”  Dongwoo hung up the phone and gave Sunggyu a kiss, “I got to go.”

“You…don’t really talk much,” Sungjong said as he stuffed some pancakes in his mouth. His cheeks were puffed out and Myungsoo couldn’t help but reach over and try to squeeze them but Sungjong moved away.

“And your gaze is way too intense,” Sungjong blushed as he looked away. They were currently in a diner in a run-down area of the city. Myungsoo looked down at his phone as it rang for the billionth time.

“Why don’t you answer it?” Sungjong was reaching for the syrup.

Myungsoo put his phone back in his pocket, “It’s not important.”

“Stupid er has been AWOL for days!” Sungyeol screamed as once again his call to L was ignored.

Dongwoo spun his pistol around his finger, “You don’t think he already got Sungjong do you? You don’t think he’s keeping him from us?” Dongwoo suddenly thought.

“!” Sungyeol murmured, “Of course!” It wouldn’t be surprising. Sungjong was so cute and innocent looking after all. Who wouldn’t want to keep Sungjong all to themselves? That’s partly the reason how Sungjong escaped in the first place.

“I knew I shouldn’t have trusted you!” Dongwoo exclaimed as he took out his phone “We still haven’t told Hoya his precious prize is gone, the person we hired has gone awol probably with the person we’re looking for, T.O.P is back and we’re being hunted down right now!”

Sungyeol bent down to sit on a box. They were in a storage building.

“Do you think Woohyun will be alright?” Dongwoo thought.

“Would it be so bad if he gets killed? We can say Sungjong died as well,” Sungyeol said.

“Kill him?” Dongwoo smacked Sungyeol on the head, “If they find Woohyun, they’ll definitely take him.”

“I know,” Sungyeol said glumly.

Suddenly they heard gun shots nearby. Dongwoo got up and stole a glance outside the door.

“ I thought we’d be safe here,” Sungyeol murmured as he loaded his gun.

“! They just killed Kikwang!” Dongwoo shouted, “Come on let’s get out through the back.” Dongwoo kicked at the back wall and five wall boards fell down.

“Where are we going? If we can’t be safe with BEAST then where are we safe?” Sungyeol tried to keep pace with Dongwoo who was dodging from side to side in order not to be seen.

“We’ve only been to run-down places. We need to go to a better protected headquarter!” Dongwoo jumped into his getaway car and started the engine.

Sunggyu made his way to the Hoya mansion, making sure that the cameras caught his movements. He grinned at a nearby camera and waved.

It didn’t take long for Sunggyu to jiggy the front door lock and open it. Of course he could always shoot at a window but he didn’t like to get his hands dirty…at least not yet. When he entered the mansion it seemed quiet. No one was there. Some items had been thrown to the ground in haste; some coats had dropped near the coat stand and doors were wide open.

Sunggyu loaded his gun as he entered each room but after thirty minutes of searching the mansion he couldn’t find anything. The mansion had been abandoned; somebody had gotten a head’s notice. He hated to think what T.O.P would do when he heard the news tonight.

The only place Sunggyu hadn’t checked was the basement. He couldn’t find a door but he definitely knew by the layout of this huge house that a basement must exist. After a few minutes of searching, he found a very loose panel in the living room. It was actually already sticking out as if somebody had left or entered without closing the panel behind them.

Sunggyu made his way down the stone steps; he could feel the temperature drop significantly. When he reached the bottom his eyes widened. It was a very high tech room. Metal walls lined the whole room. And there were voice recognition systems on the doors.

Sunggyu laid a hand on one of the many metal cages that lined the walls. The door was hanging wide open. When he looked inside the cage he could see that the bed had recently been used; there was a blanket on it. There was also food on a tray on the ground. Sunggyu squinted his eyes as he took a closer look at the bed. One of the metal rods from the bed was missing.

Chapter 21: This was a great read. Thank you for writing this! I liked the twists in this story. I honestly didn't expect hoya's group to actually be the police force and the other groups as the police force in the other districts. I also didn't see Sunggyu being an undercover agent coming. I'm really happy that none of the infinite members died. The flow was really fast paced and action-packed that I didn't have time to mourn for the death of the others. XD

Chapter 21: Done! Really nice story! Super intense at time, super sweet at others :) I'm kinda curious about what happened to some guys, but they were minor characters, so it wasn't something that needed to be in the story!

God work anyways! ;)
