Myungsoo couldn’t bear to see Suzy around school as if they had never known each other. He didn’t want to fight his pride to go beg for Suzy; he did have a reputation after all. I really haven’t learnt anything… He lowered his head in guilt and roughly pushed passed the people who were gossiping about him.

“Wait what? Suzy broke up with him?”

“Seriously? They were so cool together. And if that did happen, I’d expect Myungsoo to break up with her.”

“I’d expect Myungsoo to break up with her.” Those few words rang in his head and he couldn’t help but feel stings of tears in his eyes, threatening to come out with every step he was taking. Drip, drip. They fell onto his cheeks, taunting him. Myungsoo held his fists as his eyes threatened to pour more than they already did.

Suzy felt the triumph of a successful revenge. She could say that a whole load had been lifted off her shoulders. However, she missed the company. Having someone to actually care about her was something she didn’t want to lose. She could tell Myungsoo was sincere about his feelings this time round, even though she denied it in his face on the day they broke up. Myungsoo had really fallen in love with her, which was her original intentions obviously, but it surprised her that she had felt nothing.  Maybe it was his past, maybe she wanted more?

The awkward atmosphere never met them, as they never used the chance to be near each other in the first place. It was like the first days of school; they had only heard about each other.

It was finally the day Fei was coming back. It was a while and Suzy was excited her unnie was coming back. Although they weren’t the closest, she still felt the need to be near her. She was anxious but excited to tell her about the successful revenge, but she hoped that Fei’s reaction was worth being excited about.

Suzy was mildly surprised to see Fei. She had gained weight. A lot of weight. She knew it wasn’t right to judge people, but she couldn’t help but feel that something was strange. Fei was the one who had looked after her body the most of out of everyone in the group. And Jia was the type of person who still felt she had to impress people with her looks, even though she had Woohyun. Even Min, who was the least self-conscious would have to look into a full lengthed mirror for at least a minute to see if the clothes she was wearing made her look fat. Which Suzy thought was silly; Min was perfect and Suzy felt jealous of her on many occasions.

Suzy smiled into Fei’s hug and Fei in turn sighed in happiness and relief.

“Unnie, I did it.”

“I-I know.”

“Is there something wrong?”

Suzy knew it straight away from Fei’s unreadable expression, but when Fei shook her head, she looked at her worriedly and left her to greet the others who had come to welcome her back. Min poked Fei’s stomach jokingly.

“Gained weight, haven’t you?”

“U-Uhm…yeah.”

It seemed that the others had noticed that Fei was extra jumpy today. Although she was the type to care about the slightest things, she normally hid them very well. But today, she seemed restless at the slightest movement.

“Myungsoo…can I talk to you?”

“What do you have to talk about? How you made Suzy break my heart? Or something to ruin me even more?”

“N-No. It’s not that.”

“Well go on. I don’t have all day.”

“Myungsoo…I’m pregnant.”
