Myungsoo’s POV

I arrived at a close shop after school today. Krystal told me to meet her there.

“Myungsoo!” she waved and smiled.

*Not oppa anymore...* I thought.

“Deh?”

“I’m happy that you’re moving on now.” She said. “I’m really sorry if we didn’t work out.” She awkwardly told me. “But nevertheless, I’m happy for you.” She beamed.

“Yes. I guess you could say that. And I don’t think that we still need to really say it out obvious that we already broke up. I think people knew from that day...” I said.

“I kind of sensed that too.”

FLASHBACK

“Myungsoo.” Krystal called me to meet her at the school fields.

“Jagiyaaaa~” I cooed and stood next to the bleachers with her. *Why is she calling me myungsoo?* I chuckled and just shrugged it off.

“Myung.. I... I just don’t want to hurt you anymore..” she said.

“What?” I furrowed my eyebrows.

“You must have noticed that I’ve been trying to be distant from you these days.”

“Aisht! That’s no proble---“

“No Myung. I lied that I was busy.” She said and I looked at her, confused. “It’s just that I felt that you really do love me.”

“Err... Isn’t that the truth?” I laughed.

“Yes, and I’m afraid to tell you that I don’t feel the same. I guess I just said ‘yes’ to your proposal because I thought that we would work out and that I was just too immature.” she explained. “I’m sorry.”

END OF FLASHBACK

*The break up day...* I thought then asked her, “What makes you think I moved on now anyway?”

“After the break up, I saw you cry and then asked me if we could hide it first since you couldn’t just leave it all away. I agreed to go out with you as friends like once or twice and then after that you’ve stopped asking me and I’ve notice you and Seomi.”

“Seomi?” my eyebrows stitched together.

“You know... Even when we were still together, I’ve always seen you two cute together but never did I feel jealous or anything.The day we broke up, I felt happy when I saw her comfort you when you cried. It’s like I made the right choice and I just made way for some kind of true love.” She chuckled.

“I think you’re getting it all wrong.” I interrupted her. *I still love you Krystal.*

“Eh? Oh, mian—“

“It’s still you that I cherish. And as of now, I don’t think that’ll ever change.” I looked deep into her eyes.

“Myungsoo.. I told you.. I don’t feel the same way. I asked you to meet me up so that we’ll be able to really clear things up and to officially end this.”

“And what if I don’t want to?” I challenged her.

“Oppa, you have to. I’ve got my interest on a different person now and I don’t want you to keep your eyes on me. If not Seomi... perhaps Ga Eun?”

“Damn this Krystal! Who is it that you want now?! And why are you setting me up with just some other girls eh?!”

“Myungsoo oppa, let me go... arasseo?” she asked and hugged me before she left.

“!” I screamed in frustration. I walked all the way home alone but to my surprise, the threatening tears on my eyes went away and didn’t flow. I thought of Seomi but decided to just spend the day alone.
