“Bakit ba kasi ayaw mo na lang sabihin kay Winter? Imbis going through that kind of where you’re trying to get her back with a fresh start”

“Giselle, trust me. It’s something na I don’t want Winter to know. Do you think Winter will be glad to know that? Nasaktan ko na siya, should I hurt her more with that information? What if sinabi ko nga, Hey winter, my dad wants to ruin your career so I had to leave you. It’s like telling her it’s her fault na we suffer. Because this is about her Giselle.”

“Pero Karina..”

“Do you think it’s easy for me?..” I felt my voice crack

“I wanted to tell her everything, I want her to comfort me saying na it’s okay. But no, if I told her, she’ll feel bad about everything. She’ll feel bad that’s why it will be the sole reason on why she will come back to me. I don’t want that. I want her love, not guilty love”

“I’m sure Winter loves you with all that type of love”

“But she’ll be forever guilty about it. It’ll affect us both.”

“But still, Winter deserve the truth”

Giselle’s right. Should I accept whatever love Winter can offer? Mas okay na yung kesa sa wala right?

“Alright, I’ll tell her. I just, don’t want to lose her again Giselle”

I can’t take it anymore, I broke down. I remember all the pain from the last 3 years without Winter. I want Winter so bad. 

Even if we’re in Giselle’s office, I don’t care. I want to let it all out.

Then I feel Giselle’s arms around me hugging me.

“Hey Bam-oh ”

“Ning,Winter? What are guys doing here?” 

When I heard her name, I immediately got up. Inayos ko sarili ko before I leave the room.

, I dont want her to see me like this. Dumerecho ako sa CR para mag-ayos. I check myself in the mirror, I looked like a mess.

I heard the bathroom door opened, I heard a tick of lock upong closing.

I turned to where the door is and saw Winter.

“Anong karapatan mong umiyak? Anong karapatan mong magpakita sa harapan ko after mo ako pahirapan ng ilang taon ha? Karina!”

Inayos ko ang sarili ko bago ko siya hinarap ulit.

“What I did is unforgivable, I know. But at least can you give me a second chance?”

“Do you think you deserve that?”

“I-I don’t know. If you’ll let me to make it up to you, I promise that it’ll be worth it” 

“Tapos ano? Iiwan mo ulit ako ng walang dahilan? Tingin mo ba ganun ako katanga para bumalik pa sa’yo?” 

, naluluha nanaman ako. I don’t want her to see my tears.

“You want to know the truth? Fin-“

“You know what? Forget it. I don’t want to hear any of your excuses. I don’t need it”

“But Winter-“

“I don’t want to hear it, nakakaintindi ka ba? Wala ng magagawa kung sabihin mo pa sa akin kung ano mang reason mo. It’ll never change anything, hindi na ako babalik sa’yo”

I took a step closer, I look at her intensely. 

“Baby, I know it was hard for you. I don’t intend to-“

“Don’t you dare call me that. You lose that right, years ago!”

“Winter-hmp”

Oh , oh , oh ! She’s kissing me. Winter, my baby is ing kissing me. Oh hell. I think my knees are wobbling. 

God, she still has the same effect on me. I missed this lips, this plump, marshmallow-like lips that I can kiss all day. I miss her-oh my, her tongue. 

Napahawak ako sa shoulders niya for support and to prevent myself from falling. I can feel her hands holding my waist.

I felt her tongue forcefully entered my mouth and oh God, it’s too aggressive but there’s something about her kiss that’s not right.

She’s kissing me with a lot of force, this kiss feels like she’s pouring all the hatred. It’s a lot different from our past kisses where I can feel the love.

But what do I expect? She hates me.

I’m pretty sure that my lips is about to bleed so I made my move.

I kissed her tenderly so she can calm down. But oh boy- I was wrong. I stopped when I suddenly taste a salty liquid, it was her tears.

I leaned back para makita ko yung face niya.

“Can we consider this as our closure?”

And suddenly, I can’t move. I can’t even say a word. I just stared at her, she looks like a lost puppy but I can still see the pain in her eyes. 

Winter

Hindi siya nagsasalita kanina pa kaya I pulled her by the waist and kissed her again. A little less aggressive this time. This will be our closure so I should definitely pour everything into this kiss. 

I honestly missed her, but I can’t let her again in my life.  Everyday, since nung bumalik siya; iniisip ko na umalis na siya ng hindi nagpapaalam. Lagi ko nireready ang sarili ko sa pag-alis niya ulit sa buhay ko.

As I kiss her, tinulak niya ako ng marahan.

“No” matipid niyang sinabi

“Rina..” nagtataka ako pero walang lumalabas sa bibig ko kung hindi pangalan niya. She smiled, upon hearing her name from my lips I guess.

“This won’t be a closure. Ayaw ko ng closure kasi nothing will end. I’ll do everything for you to come back, baby.” butterflies sa tyan, magsitigil nga kayo.

Kailangan kong maging malakas, ilang years kong inaral maging matigas. Dapat magamit ko na siya ngayon.

“You’re not welcome anymore. Ayaw na kita sa buhay ko. Sige, sabihin natin na mahal pa kita. Pero hindi na katulad dati na handa akong magpa-ulol sa’yo. Tama na Rina please”
