"DON'T TOUCH HER!"

Jaekyung and L immediately jumped apart in shock. They spun round and saw Zelo striding towards them purposefully, angry and pissed.

He grabbed Jaekyung by the shoulder and pulled her out of L's grasp, standing between the lovers. "What do you think you're doing to Jaekyung noona?" he hissed dangerously.

Jaekyung gulped. "Zelo ah.."

L's eyes flashed with irritance. He looked over Zelo's shoulder at Jaekyung. "Babe. He's the zelo you were telling me?" he crossed his arms. "I thought you said he was the good guy!" he retorted, displeased.

Zelo clenched his fists. "I'm talking to you! Don't try to talk to Jaekyung noona because I'm not going to let you near her!"

"Zelo.." Jaekyung frowned, tugging at his sleeve.

"Who are you?" Zelo asked dangerously. "What are you doing in the Palace? Why are you..." he closed his eyes momentarily in pain. "Why are you kissing and hugging Jaekyung noona?" he whispered.

L smirked. He could tell that this guy was in love with his girl. It was obvious to him. The way his eyes flashed with pain when he tried to even talk about Jaekyung and him kissing and hugging. The way he's protecting Jaekyung now. The way he glared at L.

He's in love with Jaekyung.

"She's mine." L took a step closer and looked straight into Zelo's eyes. "I'm her boyfriend and we love each other. And for your information, lovers do that." he smirked.

Zelo's face fell as his head whipped towards Jaekyung.

"Is it true?" Zelo's voice cracked. He looked confused, resigned, brokened. "Noona, I thought you were engaged to Prince Yongguk!" he retorted weakly.

Jaekyung bit her lip and sighed. "I can explain, Zelo." she pleaded.

"Yes. Please explain, noona." Zelo grounded out, his voice hard.

Jaekyung sighed. "You do know I'm from the Land of Women right, Zelo?" she asked and the latter nodded. "To be honest, I already had a lover there. I had no idea I would fall for Myungsoo oppa, and I bet he didn't think so too." she smiled softly. "But somehow things turned out this way and we're in love."

L smiled and walked over to her, taking her hand in his. Zelo flinched at the contact and swallowed.

"But when I came here," Jaekyung continued. "I missed them too much. I missed him." she glanced at L. "That's why I think I lost my voice because I lost the will to talk. I couldn't even protest when Prince Yongguk just suddenly made me his fiance. I had no say in it. He didn't even discuss it with me or anything, we weren't in love, and suddenly I'm his fiance."

L stepped up and conitnued the story. "While in the Land of Women, we're desperately trying to get Jaekyung back. We tried to get banished but it didn't work. We tried to take down the organisation that caused her to be banished but it didn't work as well." he frowned. "That's why we ran off and escaped here instead."

Zelo gulped. "So you're going to take noona away?" he whispered.

L looked at Jaekyung and brushed the hair out of her face tenderly. "We have some things to do before that, specifically someone to find." he muttered. "But after everything's done, we'll get back. Home." he gave her hand a squeeze.

Zelo took a deep breath to process everything. SO now not only did his suspicions turn out to be true and Jaekyung really had a lover, she was going to be brought away from him? When he thought Prince Yongguk had her, he thought he could get her somehow.

But if she was going to go somewhere else far from him, what chances did he have?

*I'm not going to allow this.* Zelo clenched his fists.

"So are you the only who came here to save Jaekyung?" Zelo asked slowly, looking at L with as little detest as possible. Jaekyung brightened. "You're okay with this?"

Zelo nodded. "If noona is happy with this guy, then you should go with him." he forced himself to say.

Jaekyung smiled. "Thanks Zelo." she softened. "Myungsoo oppa isn't the only who came. The rest of Infinite came too, another six of my friends. They're currently waiting at the back pagoda for our nightly meetings."

*Another six?* a plan formed in his mind.

"The back pagoda?" Zelo gasped. "They can't go there!"

L blinked. "Why not?" he questioned.

Zelo frowned worriedly and paced around. "I heard that the generals and Prince Yongguk are going to have a meeting there tonight! They're get found out!"

Jaekyung and L looked at each other at the same time, causing Zelo to scoff at their unintended syncronization. "Oh no!" they gasped together.

"We have to get there fast, before Infinite gets caught!" Jaekyung shrieked and darted off with L following behind her. Zelo watched them run and followed shortly. *Mianhae noona. I only want you to be mine.*

"Aww what's taking L so long to Jaekyung here!" Hoya frowned. "He's taking longer than usual!" he complained.

Sunggyu smirked. "Just emphatize with him, Hoya." he laughed knowingly. "He missed Jaekyung for months before we managed to come here. Even when we're here and we're out there trying to find the Queen, he still misses her. Just give him some time for a few more hugs and kisses."

Sungyeol pouted and hugged his knees. "What about me! I miss my little honey bunny too!" he whined.

Dongwoo whacked Sungyeol's head. "Aish. You only left her a little more than a week, while L and Jaekyung were separated for months. Quit complaining."

The Infinite boys waited around for a few moments till Woohyun pointed and shouted. "Oh there they are!"

They turned and saw Jaekyung and L running towards them at top speed. Sungjong frowned. "Who's that blonde guy running after them?" he pointed.

Jaekyung and L reached, panting. "We have to get out of here!" L hissed urgently.

Sungyeol blinked hesitantly at Zelo. Zelo stepped forward with an assuring smile. "I'm on your side. We have to get out of here because Prince Yongguk and other officals are coming here soon. I know another way out of this place."

Infinite looked at Jaekyung who nodded. They agreed and followed Zelo as the latter lead them away from the place.

The group ran from the back pagoda towards the main hall. Jaekyung frowned as she looked around. "Zelo ah. Aren't we going to the main hall where most of the people are?"

Zelo shook his head. "There aren't anyone there at this time." he assured. "I know a secret exit there."

Jaekyung nodded and L took her hand, running faster.

It wasn't until they reached the main hall that they realized something was wrong. They had just ran straight into the meeting of Prince Yongguk and the officals like Zelo had said.

Prince Yongguk frowned when the entire gang stumbled into his meeting.

"What is happening?" he boomed.

Jaekyung gasped and threw a confused look at Zelo. "I'm sorry noona. I love you. I can't lete you go to the Land of Women even if I can't have you when you're here."

Jaekyung looked at him, shock reveberating throughout her whole body. She looked at L who seemed as shocked as she was.

"He betrayed us."
