L looked about in the foreign land, his heart thumping wildly. He ran as fast as he could towards the palace, willing his feet to move faster. The wind whipped his hair all about, his knees were weakening with fatigue, but he didn't care.

And then he saw her.

His Jaekyung. In a white wedding gown. With a white Veil. Looking absolutely angellic.

But the man beside her wasn't him. It was some blonde ugly freak which he presumed was Prince Yongguk. He gulped as the priest announced the last words.

"I pronounce you husband and wife."

The ring slipped onto her fingers.

L screamed. "NOOOOOOOOO-"

---END OF DREAM---

"-OOOOOOOO!!!!" L jumped up in fright.

The rest of the Infinite members which had dozed off in their twelve hour long ride suddenly woke up and looked around. "Ehh? Something happened?" Hoya rubbed his eyes tiredly.

In his flurry, Sungyeol had even managed to smash his head into the box of strawberries and when he lifted his face, it was entirely red with strawberry juice dripping merrily down his cheeks.

"Eh. Sorry. I had a bad dream." L cleared his throat awkwardly. Sungyeol rolled his eyes and threw strawberries at L for revenge.

Sunggyu yawned and stretched. "You think we're there yet?" he asked. That was when they realized that the truck wasn't moving. The engine was turned off and everything was silent. Dongwoo put his ear by the door and listened for noises outside. He shook his head to signal that he didn't hear anything.

"Let's check in case." Woohyun nodded and opened the door by a fraction. They all peeked at the gap.

They realized they were in a large parking area with loads of trucks that were similar to the one they were in. The drivers had left their seats and went to get a smoke, while new workers came in to unload the goods.

Woohyun's eyes widened in alarm and he quietly opened the door, gesturing for them to follow. The seven of them tiptoed around the trucks and ran for the nearest exit. Sungjong looked back, only to hear,

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THE STRAWBERRIES!!"

"So this is the Land of Men." L whispered in awe.

It didn't look any different from the Land of Men, really. People were walking about, buzzling activity everywhere. They wouldn't have known the difference if not for the fact that they didn't recognize any of the places there.

The only thing that seemed different about the place was that the men were the ones who walked with confidence, while the women seemed to tread carefully.

There were plenty of displays of powers of course. Men could be seen showing off their powers in broad daylight, where they threw fireballs leisurely, or suddenly created an electric field that cut off your connection.

Dongwoo's jaw dropped at the sight. "Woah. Amazing." he whispered.

L frowned and gestured for them to follow. "Come on. We've got to get ourselves cleaned up and find that darned palace."

The Infinite boys went straight for the nearest pawn shop and sold their accesories and some valuable stuff they managed to bring for the local currency. They changed into new clothes and got a bite before flagging a cab directly to the palace. They stood outside the great walls and gulped, not knowing wha tot do next.

"Okay I tell you guys what." L whispered. "I'll try to meet Jaekyung first. I'll tell her telepathically to come to the palace garden tonight at 10pm. You guys wait outside the barrier of the palace and I'll bring her to meet you guys. It's better not for all of us to enter the palace at once. It'll be hard to hide."

Sungyeol nodded and patted his pal's shoulder. "Take care, L."

*Why did Myungsoo oppa want me to go to the garden this late?* Jaekyung scratched her head puzzled. She hid behind a wall as a maid walked past. She heaved a sigh of relief as the maid's footsteps sounded further and further away and she finally emerged from behind the wall.

She crept to the garden, not knowing what she was supposed to find there.

*Myungsoo oppa?* she thought hesitantly. *I'm at the garden already. What is this supposed to be, oppa? A trick? I don't see anything here.* she thought, looking around in the darkness.

"Jaekyung ah.."

Jaekyung blinked. *Myungsoo oppa?* she frowned. Why was his thoughts sounding closer than it usually did? It was as if he was talking to her face to face.

"Jaekyung. Baby." His voice seemed louder now, and Jaekyung turned about, her heart racing.

And there he was, standing right in front of her, his arms spread wide in a welcoming pose. A tear trickled down his cheek as he smiled, swallowing. "Baby. I'm here." he whispered.

It took exactly 3.71 seconds for Jaekyung to finally react, and launch herself into his arms. She couldn't believe he was there even when his arms were around her, when he whispered her name, when she could smell his familiar smell.

*You're here.* Jaekyung looked up at him, cupping his face tenderly. *I didn't know. How? When? But this is the palace! Are the others here too or are you the only one? This is dangerous you know tha-*

L hushed her by putting his finger on her soft lips and smiling widely. "I'm here. We're here. We'll get you back." he whispered softly.

He cupped her cheeks and wiped her tears away, tilting her head left and right and looking at her intensely. "You became skinner, Jaekyung." he chided. "Haven't you been eating? That idiot prince must be ill treating you!" he frowned.

Jaekyung giggled and slapped his chest. *It's nothing like that Myungsoo oppa.* she sighed contently as she laid her head on his chest. *I just missed you guys too much.*

L cuddled her tightly. "Me too. I thought about you twenty four seven." He looked at her and brushed her hair out of her face. "We're all ready to get you back. Are you ready to go?"

Jaekyung bit her lip for a moment and looked at him. *But..*

L nodded for her to continue. *I realized I haven't thought about looking for my mother since I got here. I was too caught up in the longing and missing home.* Jaekyung frowned guiltily. *She's here somewhere Myungsoo oppa. I have to find her.*

L nodded and her hair understandingly. "Arraso. You just continue your life in the palace. We'll search the city for your mother alright?" he cooed. "When we find her, we'll bring her back with us, back home."

Jaekyung nodded, leaning into his touch. He lowered his head, wanting to claim that pair of lips he had missed for months when-

"Yah L! It's already 10:20pm! Is Jaekyung there yet?" A particular Choding's voice was heard, snapping impatiently from the outside of the palace walls.

L pulled apart from Jaekyung and took her hand, interlacing it with his. He smirked at her playfully. "Ready to meet the others?"

KYAAA I finally have a solution for the spamming of votes! I'm sorry if it's becoming a chore to you guys to have to continue voting so many times, but even after the rant, the second poll's result seemed rather ... suspicious. I mean, Jjong was third with 24% one night and the next morning he was first with 39%?

I can't be actually sure if there was spamming the second time round, but I'm still highly suspicious. Perhaps there was none and Jjong was just THAT charming (can't deny), but I really want a fair result.
