Sunnee sat at the cafe alone as she waits for Yu Meng to arrive. She was almost done with her glass of soda, when finally, Yu Meng came. "Sorry, I'm late. There was a traffic along the way." Yu Meng said as she put her designer bug on the table. Before she faced Sunnee, she took off her sunglasses. "It's all right. I haven't been waiting that long." Sunnee said. Yu Meng waived at the waiter and ordered something to drink. "I'll have orange juice. How about you, Nee Nee? Anything you want to order?" Yu Meng asked. "Root beer float, please." she told the waiter.

 

"I'm glad we're finally able to catch up. You can't believe the amount of work I've been getting lately. I've had three fashionshows the last month and five photoshoots this month." Yu Meng told her. "Well, I hope you left a room on your schedule for The Digital Bear..." Sunnee said. Yu Meng smiled at her. "Of course. I aready signed the contract. Also, I'm just waiting for the schedule." Yu Meng said. "We just finalized the location, so you'll most likely yet the schedule this week." Sunnee said..

 

Then, their orders arrived. They thanked the waiter, and waited for him to leave before resuming their conversation. "So... The Digital Bear, huh? What made you decide to work for them?" Yu Meng asked. "Well, the offer and compensation is really good. And I wanted something new to do..."

"So you closed your studio?"

"It's part of my contract. Besides, with the amount of work we have right now, I don't think I can even open the studio"

"Well, you're lucky to have Dylan as a boss. "

 

Sunnee nodded her head. She decided not to tell her that the real reason she agreed to work for Dylan is because she knows he is her childhood friend and wanted to be close to him. "I didn't know that you know Chief..." Sunnee said. "Oh, I really never met him when I was still studying here. It was only till I was in college when I finally met him. Although I know they were our neighbor. He was sent abroad at an early age."

"I guess you two are close, huh?"

"You can say that..."

 

Then, Yu Meng let out a laugh. "He's smitten by me! Don't you know I can tell he really likes me a lot? He's like a cute little kitten when I'm around.ok" she said. "Ah Meng... " Sunnee said. "It's true. He's always shy around me. You know, I just need to give him a little push. All I can say is his the best kisser I had so far. Good in bed too." Yu Meng said. "That's too much information, Yu Meng." Sunnee told her. Yu Meng just laughed it off.

 

"So, is Chiet your type?" Sunnee asked. Yu Meng nodded her head. "Someone I could have in my bed...."

"How about as a serious boyfriend?"

"I'm not thinking of getting committed in a relationship yet."

 

Sunnee just nodded her head. "Wait, are you trying to set up Dylan with me? And since when have you two been so close?" Yu Meng asked. "Well, he's a very hands on boss, and he's working closely with me. So, we got to be familiar with each other." Sunnee explained.  "I see. It's good to hear that." Yu Meng said. "If you're planning to stay here for good, don't you think it's time to get into a serious relationship?" Sunnee asked. "With Dylan?"

"Look at it this way, Ah Meng. You two really looks good together. And based on your story, You two are compatible He likes you, you like him. Don't you  think it's about time to select the frog to be your prince? Not that he looks like a frog..."

 

Yu Mery laughed again. "Well, you're right. But I'll think about it. It's not like he'll ask me to be his girlfriend right away, given how shy he is. But I'll consider him to be my serious boyfriend." she told her. With that, Sunnee let out a smile.

It was the day before the photoshoot.

 

Sunnee just finished her day, and was about to go home. As she stepped out of the building, she noticed Dylan's car parked in front of the building. He rolled down his window, and waved at her. She smiled as she walked towards him.

 

"Hey..." she said. "Got time?" Dylan asked. "I just got off from work. I think I've got time." she replied. "I want you to come with me. Get in." he said. Sunne nodded her head, and got into his car.

 

Dylan drove her to the posh apartment building. "Where are we?" She asked as they got out of the car. Dylan turned to her, and smiled. "We're at my hideout. You're lucky, you're the first person I brought here. So I hope you'll help to keep this place a secret." He said. Sunnee smiled and saluted him. "Yes, sir!" She said.

 

The went up to his pad and entered it. It's just a one-bedroom apartment, but everything around it is simple. For someone loke Dylan, she expected the furniture and the design to be lavish, but he kept his pad simple and clean. "Welcome to my secret hideout." He said. "Nice place." She commented. "Thanks. Have a seat first. What do you want to drink?" He asked as he headed to the kitchen. "No, it's ok.. "

"I insist. You're my guest."

 

Sunnee couldn't help but smile. "I've got pineapple juice here." Dylan told her. "I'll take that." She said. Dylan walked up to her and handed her a bottle of pineapple juice. "So, why is this your secret hideout?" Sunnee asked as they both sat down. "Well, this is my own little corner away from everything - from stress, from work, from chairwoman..." He said. There's a faint smile on his lips. "I usually run here when I need to get away from everything, when I feel so pressured from life." He said.

 

Sunnee looked at him, and he could see the sadness in his smile. "It must have been tough on you..." She said. Dylan nodded her head. "Everyone's expecting a lot from me. It felt like I'm not even allowed to make a mistake. When it feels that it's too much for me, I run here to be alone." He told her. "Then, everything's too much to you today?" Sunnee asked.  Dylan only looked at her, and smile. 

 

"I guess in the short time we've known each other, you can already read me." He said. Sunnee smiled at him. "I guess, I can read your thoughts." She said. "After all, we used to have a hideout too at the orphange when we want to be alone..." She added in her thoughts. "Ah, I forgot. I brought you here because I want to show you something." He said. He stood up, and then went to his room. 

 

After a while, he came back. This time, he's holding a long, velvety box. "I know that you know Yu Meng best..." He said. Sunnee nodded her head. "I want to ask your opinion. Do you think she would like this?" He asked. He opened the box, and showed her a diamond necklace. "Looks expensive. Knowing Yu Meng, of course she will like that." She said. "Do you know what else she likes?" He asked.

 

Sunnee paused for a while to think. "As I've said before, she likes expensive thing. Expensive, shiny things. She've always wanted a jewelry from Tiffany & Co. She likes the perfume from Chanel and Givenchy. Her favorite bag is from LV. She likes drinking the finest wine and eating the finest food at the poshest restsurant. But, when she's with me, she likes eating street food. She likes those juicy and big fried chicken, and those sweet candied strawberries from the night market. She could drink two big cups of those lemon slushies. She can be both simple and lavish at the same tine, but I think she prefers the finer things in life." She told him. 

 

Dylan nodded as he listened to her. "You two seems opposite. It's still a wonder how you two became friends." He said. "Well, Yu Meng was the one who helped me against my bullies back in our first year in high school. She was not liked by many because she is a rich kid, and I was not well liked because I'm adopted. We only got each other back then. Eventually, all boys chased her, while I became friends with almost everyone in school since I'm the official photographer of our batch." She explained. "Well, in your case opposites do attract. I'm glad you two are still friends after all these years."

"Of course. She's my muse. And she got her fiest modelling stint because of the pictures I took of her. Everytime she comes home from abroad, I make sure to have time to take pictures of her. I'm her favorite photographer."

 

Then, they looked at each other for a long time. It was onl when she felt her cheeks became warm when she looked away from him. "Oh, I forgot. There's another thing I want to show you." He said. He stood up and went back to his room. When he came back, he's holding a bigger box this time. "Another gift for Yu Meng?" She asked. Dylan smiled. "It's a gift for  you. Open it." He said.

 

Curious, Sunnee opened the box. She was surprised to see the camera she had always wanted. "The camera I want!" She exclaimed happily. " She said. "I hope you can capture more beautiful pictures with that camera." He wished to her. Sunnee nodded at him. "I will." She said. Then he took a stolen shot of him. "Hey!" He said in surprised tone. Sunnee could only smile. "Now, we're even." She said then she laughed.

Photoshoot day.

 

Everyone arrived at the location early to set up the place. Meanwhile, Sunnee and Win were doing test shots on their camera to find the right setting. "Wow, is that a new camera, boss? And the camera you wanted too!" Win said. Sunnee nodded at her. "Do you think this is all right?" She asked, showing him the photo she took. "Wow, this sure looks better thay the photos we used to take with our old camera! Boss, you finally bought the camera you want! I'm so happy for you." Win said.

 

With that, Sunnee blushed as she smiled shyly. "Actually, I didn't buy this. Someone... Gave it to me..." She explained. "And by thay someone, you mean... Fluffy Bear?" Win asked. Sunnee nodded her. Win let out a smirk. "In today's episode of 'Good Morning, Sunnee', someone gave her a camera and our boss is blushing!" Win . Sunnee could only giggle. "Aiyo, don't be like that." She said. She hit his arm so hard, he almost lost his balance.

 

Meanwhile, Xuan Yi was helping with the wardrobe and props, when Evan approached her. "Hello, Xuan Yi..." He said. Xuan Yi looked at him, surprised to see him. "Evan! You're here!" She said excitedly. "Well, Chief wanted to see the shoot. He'll be here any minute. I'm just an advance party. Anything I can help with for the mean time?" He asked. "Oh, no, it's OK. I can handle it." She said. Evan said. "No, I insist. I should lend you a hand while I'm still not busy." He said. Xuan Yi let out a smile.  "Well, if you insist. Can you help me carry a box from the car? We'll be needing those later." She said. Evan nodded his head. 

 

As they were heading to the car, Evan noticed Sunnee and Win doing some test shots. "Oh, Sunnee seems to be busy now..." He commented. Seeing him smile at her friend, Xuan Yin couldn't help but feel jealous at her friend. "Y-yeah... She said she'll be using a new camera, so she needed some test shots." She said. As Evan looked at her, she tried to smile. "Let's go and get that box." He said. Xuan Yi nodded her head.

 

Moments later Dylan had arrived. The moment Sunnee saw him, she smiled to herself. Dylan saw her and smiled and waved at her. She was happy for a moment, until she saw Yu Meng catching up to his side. "Oh, they came here together..." She muttered. "You know, I really have a bad feeling about your best friend." Win told her. Sunnee looked at him, confused. "I think I could understand why Kai doesn't like her."  Win said.

 

Sunnee could only watch as Yu Meng linked her arms to Dylan. He has a happy expression as he looked at her. "I guess I really could not win to her..." She thought. Then, she took a deep breath and forced a smile. "OK, let's get ready to shoot." She told Win. Her assistant just nodded his head.

 

While they were getting ready, Dylan and Yu Meng approached her. "Hello, Sunnee. Is everything ready?" Dylan asked. Sunnee smiled and nodded her head. "I'm really so happy that I get to work with my best friend again. Dylan, you made a right choice in hiring Sunnee." Yu Meng said as she smiled sweetly at him. Dylan nodded her head. "Sunnee's work is always wonderful. And I know you'll be in good hands with her." He said. Yu Meng nodded her head. "I trust Sunnee will make me even more beautiful in my photos. Right, Sunnee?" She said as she turned to her. "Of course, I willl. When did I let you down?" Sunnee replied.  

 

She looked at the two as they exchanged loving gazes. Then, she cleared . "I think you should get your makeup done and change wardrobe. I wanted to catch some nice photos while the natural lighting is good." She interrupted them. "Of course, boss." Yu Meng said. Then, she turned to Dylan and gave him a kiss on the lips. "I'll catch you later." She said before leaving the two together.

 

"Well, I guess you don't need my help anymore. I think you can do it." Sunnee said. Dylan pouted at her. "I need your moral support." He said. Sunnee let out a laugh. "All right, all right, don't worry. I'll be there for moral support. You can count on me." She said. With that, Dylan smiled. "So, what's the plan?" She asked. Dylan scratched his head. "You have no plan yet?" She asked. "I have no idea what to do..." He confessdd. Sunnee let out a sigh. "OK. If I ask her to go with me under the cherry blossom tree, just follow us. I have an idea what to do." She said. With that, Dylan smiled at her. "Thank you, baobei! You're the best!" He said, giving her thumbs up.  

 

Sunnee let out a laugh. "Also, I think you should stop calling me baobei. You're going to have a girlfriend soon..." She said. Dylan smiled. "Why not? You're my favorite person. And you're too precious to me." He said. She could only sigh. "How about this, I'll only call you that when we're alone, OK?" He suggested. Sunnee had no choice but to nod her head in agreement. With that, Dylan smiled at her and pinched her cheeks.

The photoshoot started. They first made the shoot by the piano in the garden. Sunnee gave Yu Meng instructions on how to pose, and Yu Meng listened to her. The first part of their shoot ended early without a hitch.

 

After a change of clothes, they did their shoot they did their shoot at the field of tulips and lavender. Then, by the flower wall, by the clock tower and the windmill.

 

"OK, Yu Meng you need to change into the blue gown, then we'll shoot by the carriage. It's going to be Cinderella theme." Sunnee explained. Yu Meng smiled happily and clapped her hands. "Cinderella! You know me so well, Nee Nee! You know I always love doing those kind of shoot." She said. Sunnee let out a smile. While Yu Meng went away to change costume, she noticed Dylan walked towards her, and walked her to her tent. She could only sigh as she lookef at them. Then, she took pictures of them together. "A reminder thay he will never be yours, Sunnee..." She thought.

 

After a while, they continued their shoot. As expected, Yu Meng enjoyed the Cinderella theme shoot, and she was able to take a lot of pictures. "All right, we're done here at rhe carriage. Let's go to the chapel for the last shoot. Yu Meng, you can change clothes once we're there, OK?" She said. Yu Meng nodded her head. While everyone went on their way, Sunnee stayed behind with Yu Meng. "Hey, can I see my pictures?" Yu Meng asked. Sunnee obliged, and showed her her pictures. "Wow... You know you really make me beautiful when you photograph me!" She said happily. "Anyway, the chapel is the last place to shoot today, but I've been wanting to give you a personal shoot just as promised. Can you stay behind? We can shoot by the cherry blossom tree." Sunnee said. Yu Meng let out a smile. "Of course, I can stay. Anything for my best friend, and favorite photographer!" Yu Meng said. "Thanks. I think you should go now so you could change clothes right away." She told her. Yu Meng nodded her head, and headed on her way to the chapel.

 

After a while, Dylan approached her. "So, we're set for later?" He asked. Sunnee smiled and gave him a thumbs up.

After the photoshoot, Sunnee and Yu Meng went to the part of the flower park with cherry blossom trees. "Wow, the cherry blossoms are in bloom today." Yu Meng said in awe. "That's why I want to take pictures of you here, because it's just perfect." She said. Yu Meng approached the tree, and Sunnee began to take photos of her. They were taking a lot of pictures when Dylan finally came.

 

Yu Meng was surprised to see him there, as she thought it was just going to be her and Sunnee around. After all, everyone has already left. "Dylan, why are you here?" She asked. "Well, I figured out this is a nice place... To confess..." He said. Upon hearing that, Sunnee began to distance herself from them. "Well, you two need to talk. Got to go!" She said before running off. "Sunnee, wait! She heard Yu Meng say.

 

What they didn't know is that Sunnee ran off to a big tree next to where they are. From there, she could see and hear everything. "What is it that you want to say?" Yu Meng said to Dylan. "Yu Meng, I... You know that I've always liked you..."

"I know."

"We had so much fun together. And I enjoy every minute that I have with you. We've already done things that a normal couple would do."

"Well, it's just natural, because we like each other, right?"

"I like you very much, Yu Meng. I really do. And I would be very happy if we make it official..."

 

Then, Dylan held her hand. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked. Yu Meng paused and stared at her. "Well..." She said. Then she smiled. "I'd love to be your girlfriend." She added. With that, Dylan let out a smile, and hugged her. After that they kissed for a long time.

 

All of this, Sunnee witnessed. The moment she accepted him, she felt her heart break into a million pieces. Then, she let out a sad smile. "I may not have the man I love, but I'm happy he's happy now. Yu Meng, please don't hurt him, because it will hurt me too... I hope you two will always be happy..." She whispered sadly.

Airport.

 

Sylvia almost got out of the airport when her phone rang. "Hello Kai? Yes, I've just arrived. Don't worry about me. Of course I will see Sunnee soon. Yes, we'll wait for your return, OK? Don't worry about me. OK, bye." She said on the phone. She looked around to find a taxi.

 

Meanwhile, a car parked a fee meters away from her. Wes came out of the car and greeted a girl standing a few meters away from her with a kiss. Sylvia's eyes landed on them, and he was surprised to see him again. "Babe, did you miss me?" The girl asked. "Of course. Let's go so we could catch up, OK?" Wes said. She helped her to get in the car. As he vlosed the door, his eyes landed on Sylvia. They locked eyes for a while. All of a sudden, the pain he had been keeping for years all came back to him. 

 

Sylvia looked away from him, and then hopped on the taxi in front of her. "Wes... I'm sorry..." She thought. "Sylvia... Sylvia!" He shouted.

 

He ran towards the taxi, but it was too late. He missed her again.

Kai paced back and forth in his hotel room. He can't sleep and he seemed bothered. "I wonder if Sunnee's OK? I hope she is... Ugh! I can't be away like this always worried about her! I know something is wrong." He said. He then took his luggage and packed his things. "Wait for me, Sunnee, I'm coming home." He said.
