“How was it?” your boyfriend asked as soon as you entered the car, his hand finding yours to intertwine immediately, like it’s the only thing his hand is programmed for. His grip firm and secure. You hummed in reply.

“They look really keen on accepting me, but I’m still thinking.” you muttered as your brows furrowed deep in contemplation. You have the luxury to choose from 4 companies but each seems to have more cons than pros. Too far, too demanding, too restricted, too less of a pay, too much politics and more. He placed a kiss on the back of your hand without another word, letting you drown in your thoughts before bringing you back up from the ocean of thoughts with an inaudible sigh. 

“Just be an intern in my company. I know what you’re thinking… if it makes you feel better, we can just keep our relationship a secret, at least until you’re done with your internship. I promise I won’t interfere with anything. And you know I never break my promises with you.”

“I know, Baek. I just… don’t want to be a burden… you have already helped me so much and I cant possibl-”

“Shush, we both know my company is the best option, you get to learn more as it is a big platform, it’s near and you will have a nice allowance on top of that.
