Judgment Day

When midnight comes, don't forget to lock the door. One may never guess who waits on the other side - a gun by his hand.

Seunghyun and Glory were enjoying a simple ‘me’ time in front of their television. They were cuddling, arms rested on each other’s body, seemingly morphing together as they basked in the current show’s silliness.

It was like a ceremony for them. Whenever neither can sleep, they’ll cuddle in front of the television and let the sounds of it lull them back to exhaustion.

“I miss this,” Glory gentle whispers, nuzzling Seunghyun’s neck.

Seunghyun laughed and kissed the top of his forehead. “You should’ve stay more then,” he jokingly said.

Glory remained silent, though his arms that wrapped around Seunghyun’s waist, tightened.

They were silently enjoying the quietness of the night, when suddenly they heard the sounds of an engine at the distance.

Glory stiffened and he sat up, his body rigid, like a prey that heard the roar of a lion.

“Glory?” Seunghyun asked, a bit worried.

“It’s probably nothing—”

The sounds of the engine stopped right in front of their front door.

Seunghyun’s attention turned towards it.

They heard the echoes of a car door opening then closing.

A pause.

Two-maybe three—more of the same sounds followed.

Seunghyun tried to stand up to take a peak at the commotion when Glory’s hand forced him down. “Don’t. I’ll take care of it—”

The door suddenly burst open—

Bang.

Seunghyun screamed when he saw Glory got shot on his abdomen. He tried to stand up and tried to run but—
