Well-Kept Tears

Seunghyun's past came to meet him.

Seunghyun just came back from a short grocery trip.  It doesn't have a specific occasion, but he wanted to cook something special. Can a man cook for his lover just because?

Nah. It's only for his stomach.

His stomach grumbled in agreement.

Ah!!! He can't wait to stand in front of the stove and start cooking!

This past year had been nothing but bliss for him. At first he was afraid that things would get awkward between him and Glory (because of his amnesia and all) but it doesn't! He doesn't treat him like a broken teacup. He let him do work (he got invited for a small local vocal academy ran by their neighbors who heard him singing while he was cleaning in their backyard).

Basically, he doesn't treat him different. He made him feel normal.

And normalcy is what Seunghyun needs. He needed the comfort of routine to forget the fact that he forgot a huge chunk of his life.

How the hell did he get in this situation anyway?

He had dreams that made him grasping for air when he woke up. Eyes wide with fear for something he cannot remember.Glory would hug him and console him, gently whisper in his ears a mantra that he had longed memorized, "It's okay, my love. It's just a nightmare."

No! He wanted to scream. Because it felt too real. It felt too familiar.

But there's also that lingering sense of fear that left his body shaking, his eyes watering, his chest heaving, his lungs dried of air. 

He became afraid of remembering.

That he almost didn't wish to remember. At all.

He was too lost in his thoughts, too engrossed in his music, he didn't notice that a man had approached him until he found himself pinned by the wall.

A man was screaming in his face. His lips moving in a familiar pattern.

He stared at him, eyes wide with fear and worry.

Why does he look--

He didn't even notice that the impact had pushed his earphones away from the comforts of his ears.
