“Y/N,” he warned, arching an eyebrow in your direction. “Don’t.”

“Don’t what?” you mused, feigning innocence. “I’m doing nothing.”

“Keep it that way,” Hyunwoo ordered, resting his hands over his stomach that had not long been satiated with dinner. All he wanted to do was hibernate on the couch and watch television until he fell asleep. You’d then have to wake him to go off to bed and the night would end peacefully.

However, his focus wasn’t nearly as hooded as it usually would be around this time of night. Instead, he flicked his attention back to you.

That smile never boded him well.

“Why don’t you come and sit and watch this show with me?”

“I have dishes to do.”

“I’ll do them in the morning,” he offered. Hyunwoo knew if he had you next to him, he could simmer down some of that playfulness he could see in your gaze. The distance between you meant you would remain unpredictable and attack him when he was least prepared for it.

“Laundry too,” you added on, pointing to the basket with clothing to fold.

“Tomorrow.”
