Time was running short, Chanyeol now only had 2 days to ask a certain Slytherin to prom.

It was just a party, it'd just be like asking him if he was going to the winter one.

Keep it casual.

He had to do some poking around for the smaller since classes were over with for seniors so it was free rain to wherever the Slytherin could possibly be.

He wasn't in the library, surprisingly for once he wasn't. The library was dead after exam time and Chanyeol understood why, he was sick of the sight of it now.

There was a possibility he could be in the Slytherin dorms, Chanyeol sighed at the thought, how was he supposed to ask him there? Let alone even get inside.

His head poked inside the great hall, it was empty apart from the few kitchen elves cleaning away breakfast.

He turned to the courtyard, there was a chance he was there, he stepped outside, scanning the faces. His heart feeling relieved when he noticed a familiar face, the person he was so desperately needing to talk to.

He made his way over, a small smile resting on his face when the Slytherin laughed loudly at whatever the Ravenclaw beside him said.

"Hey." Chanyeol spoke up as he cleared his throat, grabbing the two small male's attention.

"Hi, Chanyeol." Kyungsoo replied as Baekhyun smiled softly at him.

Chanyeol wanted to squeeze him right then and there because of the Slytherin's adorable smile, shout to the whole school that this was his prom date, but that wouldn't be cool, right?

"Can I talk to you for a sec?" Chanyeol questioned as he directed it towards the Slytherin.

"Yeah, sure." Baekhyun nodded, not moving an inch, obviously not getting the idea that Chanyeol was wanting to speak privately.

"In private." Chanyeol spoke up.

"Oh." Baekhyun replied, rolling his eyes sarcastically at Kyungsoo before following Chanyeol to a secluded area of the courtyard, plonking himself down on the stone wall beside the Gryffindor.

"So, I—"

"I was actually meaning to talk to you too," Baekhyun spoke up, "But you go first."

"No, you go." Chanyeol was curious on what Baekhyun wanted to talk about.

The Slytherin ran his hands through his hair as he left out a huff, this was embarrassing. But if Kyungsoo could somehow muster up the courage to ask Jongin then he was totally fine; exaggerating this even.

"What's wrong?" Chanyeol furrowed his brows.

"Okay," Baekhyun let out a deep sigh, "I wa
