Baekhyun woke up, somehow feeling refreshed. He was looking forward for the Quidditch game, he never did exactly pay attention to any of the Gryffindor players before but one was on his mind constantly.

"You've got a pip in your step today," Sehun pointed out, adjusting his tie. It was strange to see Baekhyun this lively in the morning, rare to see him so eager to get out of bed.

"It the big game today, Sehun." Baekhyun said, opening his bed side drawer, picking up his necklace and wand. "And I get to watch, no buldgers are coming to my face this time."

"Hmm, it's still possible." Sehun replied, raising a brow.

"Don't ruin my mood." Baekhyun huffed, combing his messy bed head, making sure it was neat and looked just right.

"See you at breakfast."

"Byun Baekhyun going to breakfast early, are you feeling alright?"

"Shut up."

Baekhyun was feeling good lately if he had to admit it. Everything was okay now, everything was right, everything was controlled and he liked that.

He knew if he kept things up like this his dad would have nothing be mad about, and that made Baekhyun ecstatic.

He furrowed his brows slightly as he walked down the halls, the few people staring for a little too long for his liking, he glared back at them watching them look away and mutter to their friends.

He shook his head, maybe he had something on his face, but he didn't really care. He kind of got used to the odd glances when he was recovering from the buldger incident.

He made his way into the great hall, still feeling a few eyes on, he gulped, did people know about the broom closet incident from yesterday?

No, they couldn't have.

He shook his head with a sigh, sitting down at the usual spot Sehun and him sat at the Slytherin table, not too far from the end or the middle.

He leaned over, instead of picking something from the plates of food, he picked up a newspaper from the pile, there wasn't many left. When he usually came down to breakfast there was none left, so he was quite keen to get his hands on one; thinking he should come down earlier from now on to get first pick of the food and other privileges for the early students.

He sat back down, unfolding it, he was going to focus on it after picking out his food but he froze. Why was his family name on the front cover? And why was there a picture of his father? He focused on the picture watching his dad with two men holding him, pulling him away.

He clutched the sides of the paper tightly, his heart slowly dropping, his eyes scanned over the words 'Cruciatus' and his name a few times until he'd seen enough. He folded the paper back up, panting heavily, not exactly sure what it was. He was scared, shocked and most importantly angry.

Angry at one specific person.

His head looked up from the table, his eyebrows creased deeply, his lips in a thin line. 

This is why people were staring at him.

He took the newspaper and stormed out the hall, nearly colliding with someone in the process, he muttered a sorry, his eyebrows furrowing even more at the Gryffindor Quidditch kit.

He looked up his blood boiling even more at the sight of the male.

"Baek, what's wrong?" Chanyeol asked, not sure what was even wrong with Baekhyun, he looked angry and sad, like he was about to hit h
