May, a time for rejoicing for school is over. However, May, is also a month of nervousness and stress, a time for that last exam before summertime comes rolling in. A time where the seniors start stressing for all the ‘what ifs’ afterward. However, despite the nervousness and the stress with it, it’s also a time to rejoice for they’ve come so far in their education and walking across that stage to achieving their dreams. And Chaeyeon is one of those seniors who is equally or maybe more nervous than the others.
“Babe.”
“Hmm.”
“Are you ok? Like are you fine, I know it’s finals season and all,” Sakura asks when they were cuddling in bed one night.
“...”
“Babe, you know you can tell anything, I’m always here for you,” Sakura said as she squeezes Chaeyeon’s hand.
“I'm just scared, Princess. Like what if I don’t pass my exams? And I’m one of the contenders for the top place in the dance department, what if I don’t get the top and everybody will be disappointed. Like, how will they feel? I. I. I,” Chaeyeon said before Sakura pulls her into her embrace stopping her rambling.
“Babe, look at me. Come on, look at me,” Sakura said before lifting Chaeyeon’s chin to face her.
“Hey, everything’s going to be ok. It’s ok to pass sometimes and even if you don’t, you’re still walking across that stage next week. And you’re the best dancers I know, you’ll definitely be the top. But if you’re not, you’re the top in my heart and in Wonyoung and your friends. We won’t be disappointed, we just want to see you achieve your dream, so don’t ever feel like you’re making us disappointed because you’re not.
