46. Starfish Hero! Round 2

Spring break, a time or a week away from school and simply relax and have fun. Chaeyeon had invited her friends to go on a picnic with her, Sakura, and Wonyoung for the day. Everyone agrees to come, as they quickly plan what to do to that day. A few days later, the fateful day came, Chaeyeon, Sakura, and Wonyoung arrive first to the park. They lay out the picnic blanket and set up a little before the rest of their friends came bearing food as they promised.

The friends all enjoyed the food, Hyewon more so than everyone else, as they talked about everything and anything. Their conversation was interrupted when Wonyoung started crying startling everybody especially her parents. She was playing with Mr. BonBon and Mr. Bunny when she slipped and fell, Chaeyeon and Sakura rush over to where she was feeling guilty for not paying attention to her more. Their friends came over to check on Wonyoung too as Chaeyeon and Sakura hug Wonyoung to calm her down.

After Wonyoung had calmed down, Chaeyeon asks what she wanted to do to make up for her guilt of not watching over her daughter carefully.

“Hmm, I want to play Starfish Hero again!” Wonyoung said as Chaeyeon smiles while nodding her head.

“Starfish Hero?” Yena asks for their group of friends.

“Oh, I forgot! Starfish Hero is a superheroes roleplay game that we played on my birthday,” Chaeyeon said as she explains to her friends.

“That’s right! Aunties should play too!” Wonyoung said as she looks at them with her puppy eyes.

“Ok Wonyoungie,” everybody said as they couldn’t resist her puppy eyes.

“Yay! Ok, Mommy, you will be Mommy Kitten and Mama you are Mama Bear. Hmm, Auntie Hyewon and Aunty Eunbi will be The Foodies, Aunty Chaewon will be The Blank and Aunty Hitomi will be Strawberry Mochi! Aunty Yena will be Ms. Duckie and Aunty Yuri will be Hamster Girl! Aunty Yujin will be PuppyYu and Aunty Minju will be FrogMin! Aunty Nako will be The Lonely and I am Starfish Hero!!!” Wonyoung exclaims as she went around and gave them superhero names.

“Ok, my power is my fast punches! Everybody can choose your own powers! I will be the superhero with The Foodies, Strawberry Mochi, Hamster Girl, and FrogMin! The villains will be Mommy Kitten, The Blank, Ms. Duckie, and PuppyYu! Mama Bear and The Lonely will be the people the superheroes need to save from the villains!” Wonyoung said as she excitedly explains the roles.

“OK!” the adults said as they break off into groups to discuss what the scenarios will be like before they start.

“Ok, let’s state what our powers are before we start the roleplay,” Sakura said as the ‘villains’ nodded along.

“I’ll start, the last time we played I didn’t really have a power it was me being mostly bossy until I was defeated and turns into a kitten, so I guess my power is just being bossy to Chaeyeon,” Sakura said as the other nodded.
