8. Meeting You

Chaeyeon was recovering slowly. Chaewon and Hyewon said she was getting better during her therapy sessions. She was happy to be recovering even if it’s slow. She can now walk without her crutches for a short period of time and she was pleased with her progress. She still uses her crutches and it had become easier to use with no difficulties… or so she thought.

“That will be $25,” the guy at the cashier said as Chaeyeon handed the money to the guy.

Chaeyeon was sitting at home when she started to crave for some ice cream. She got up from the couch and walked to the kitchen, only to find no ice cream in her freezer. She sighs and got her wallet and crutches and made her way to the nearby convenience store. Once she had entered the store, she walks to the ice cream section and begins having an internal debate on what ice cream to get.

‘Should I get a tub of ice cream or just popsicles?’

‘If I get a tub, do I want a pint or a gallon?’

‘Wait what flavor do I want?’

‘Why is it so hard to pick ice cream!?’

After her dilemma, Chaeyeon grabs a pint of vanilla, butter crunch, mint chocolate chip, and strawberry. She also got a cherry flavor popsicle, some bag of chips, and some soda.

After paying for her goods, Chaeyeon secures the bag on her wrist before holding on to her crutches making way towards home. She was almost home when…
