18. Getting Closer

The two were so immersed in their conversation that they didn’t realize that they have arrived at Chaeyeon’s apartment. Sakura parked the car before getting out to help Chaeyeon.

“Here let me walk you to your apartment, I want you to put less pressure on that leg since you overused it today,” Sakura said as she helps Chaeyeon walk.

“Are you sure Saku-chan? I don’t want to hold you up, it’s already late and you probably need to pick up Wonyoung,” Chaeyeon said as she pulls them to a stop outside her apartment building.

“Jjaeyeon. Not only am I your friend, but I am also your doctor so let me walk you to your apartment, please? And Wonyoung is in good hands, I have nanny watching her whenever I work late,” Sakura explains before Chaeyeon admits her defeat and allow Sakura to help her.

“Ok, I’ll come by in the morning to bring you to your therapy sessions, and before you say anything. I clear my schedule in the morning allowing me some time to pick you and take you to the hospital, and I got your schedule from Chaewon so there’s no use in refusing,” Sakura said once she was sure that Chaeyeon was settled in on the couch.

“Really? I don’t want it to be a hassle for you Saku-chan,” Chaeyeon said as she looks at her angel.

“Jjaeyeon, it’s not a hassle at all! I wanted to help you, so please let me help you,” Sakura said as she held Chaeyeon’s hand.

“O.o.ok, thank you for doing so much for me,” Chaeyeon stuttered.

“You’re very welcome, thank you for letting me help you. Anyways I better get going, rest up and I’ll see you in the morning,” Sakura said as they bid goodbyes before walking out the door.
