2. The Day After

“You don’t have to worry, she just fainted from the shock that’s all,” Chaeyeon heard an unfamiliar voice of a female.

“Thank you, Doctor,” she heard Eunbi said.

Chaeyeon slowly opens her eyes only to be greeted by a beautiful human being in a white doctor gown. She was staring at the human angel when the doctor turned around startling her. They stared at each other for a few seconds before the angel decided to speak.

“Ms. Lee, hello I’m your doctor Dr. Miyawaki and I’ll be the one overlooking your recovery,” the human angel, Dr. Miyawaki, said to her.

“Chaeyeon, you’re awake! Thank the Lord, I thought something bad had happened! Oh, Dr. Miyawaki here was the one who did the surgery on your leg!” Eunbi said as she rushes over to look at the younger girl.

“Thank you Dr. Miyawaki for doing the surgery, I hope I’ll recover soon,” Chaeyeon said as she bows to the doctor as a form of appreciation.

“I’m glad to perform the surgery for you. You will recover soon, with some therapy and some will you will be up and dancing in no time,” Dr. Miyawaki said as she smiles at Chaeyeon.

After she fainted everything went back to normal as normal could be, with a heavy cast on her right leg. Yena and Eunbi picked her up and helped her with the paperwork. They then drop her off at home after going to the grocery store and picking up some grocery for her.

“Are you sure you’ll be fine alone?” Eunbi asks as she helps the girl sit on the couch.

“Yes, unnie. I’ll be fine, if I need anything, I’ll just call you. You, Yena, and Yujin live one floor down from me,” Chaeyeon said as she reassures her older teammate.

“Hmm, ok if you need anything or any help call us ok?” Eunbi asks as she gets up.

“Ok unnie, I promise,” Chaeyeon said as she smiles reassuringly at her unnie.

“Ok, well we’ll leave now, bye Chaeyeon,” Eunbi said as she heads to the door.

“Bye Chaeyeon please call us ok,” Yena said as she follows Eunbi.

“Bye Eunbi-unnie, bye Yena, I’ll call if something comes up,” Chaeyeon said as she waves to them.

Once the door closes, Chaeyeon turns back and look at her leg. All the memories flash before her again and she was getting depressed again. She started sobbing, asking herself why and what to do now. She sobs so much that she slowly succumbs to exhaustion, falling asleep on the couch.
