3. Mother-Daughter Duo

A few days had passed since the accident and Chaeyeon was not getting any better, internally. Whenever she’s with Eunbi, Yena, or Yujin, she pretends that she was ok and that she was getting used to having her cast on. And today was like any other day. The four are in their practice room, Chaeyeon tagging along to see how the three are doing with their practice.

“How are you doing Chaeyeon-ah?” Eunbi asks as they are taking a break from dance practice.

“I’m doing good unnie. It’s still a little difficult getting around though but I’m getting used to using the crutches,” Chaeyeon answered half truthfully.

“That’s good to hear. Oh, isn’t your checkup in a few weeks? Do you want me or all of us to come with you?” Eunbi asks.

“Hmm, yes it is next week but you guys don’t have to come with me. I think I can manage,” Chaeyeon said as she gives her friends a reassuring smile.

“Ok, well if you need us, we’re literally a call away,” Eunbi said as the three smiles at her.

Chaeyeon nods her head as she watches her friends go back to practicing. She envies them because she wants to dance as well, it’s the only thing that made her happy but she can’t due to her leg.
