20. Pizza for Lunch

“Who is it?” Sakura calls out before opening the door.

“It’s me, am I disturbing you?” Chaeyeon asks as she sees Sakura tired state.

“Jjaeyeon! No you’re not disturbing me at all, had a busy morning,” Sakura as she looks down blushing, she had to take a double take when she saw Chaeyeon’s leg without its brace.

“Jjaeyeon?”

“Hmm.”

“When did you remove your brace?” Sakura said before she looks up at Chaeyeon, who was blushing at her question.

“Um, today. You can say I had a busy morning too, it wasn’t easy to walk again without the support of the brace,” Chaeyeon said shyly as she smiles.

“Oh really? Well, I’m proud of you Jjaeyeon,” Sakura said as she pats Chaeyeon’s head lovingly.

Chaeyeon was caught by surprise, she blushes from the contact. The two of them stood there like that with Sakura petting Chaeyeon’s head before she realizes what she was doing.

“Oh, sorry Jjaeyeon. Um, please come in, sorry for making you stand out here when you’re still recovering,” Sakura said before she bravely grabs Chaeyeon’s arm pulling her to sit on the couch.
