17. The Drive Home

“Here, sit here. I’m going to go clear some stuff first then we can leave,” Sakura said as she helps Chaeyeon sit on the couch inside her office.

“Ok, Saku… Dr. Miyawaki, take your time, I am in no hurry,” Chaeyeon said before realizing that she almost dropped the formality.

“Jjaeyeon, just call me like usual, we are friends now right?” Sakura said as she sits in her chair.

“Are we really?”

“Yes, so be comfortable,” Sakura said with a smile.

“Ok Saku-chan, but take your time you don’t have to hurry because of me,” Chaeyeon said while Sakura nodded her head before focusing on finishing her work quickly.

After about 30 minutes, Sakura finally finished with her work. She logs out of her computer, grabs her purse, grabs her car keys and phone before she was set to go. She was walking over to Chaeyeon calling her to see if she’s ready to go.

“Jjaeyeon! Are you ready to go? Jjaeyeon?” Sakura calls out before looking up from her phone to see a sleeping Chaeyeon on the couch.

“Cute,” Sakura said quietly, not wanting to wake up the sleeping bear.

“You’re really cute Jjaeyeon, I think I might have fallen in love with you,” Sakura said as she bent down observing Chaeyeon’s sleeping face.
