She woke up with a pulsing headache. She sluggishly walked out of the room and to the bathroom to freshen herself up. “Oh, you’re awake already?”, Ha Neul asked looking at her coming out of the toilet. “My head hurts”, she complained. He walked towards her and held her hand, leading her to the kitchen. He filled up a cup and put it in her hand and pills in her other hand. “Drink up, that should make you feel better”, he said as he collected some stuff in his hands, ready to leave the house. “Wait, wait, where are you going?”, she asked in her croaked voice. “To the gym.”

 “At 9am?”

 “Yeah, because I woke up late and it’s too hot to run now”

“What about breakfast?”

“I’ll eat something when I’m back”, he said before closing the door.

            She swallowed the pills, finally and checked out what was in the fridge. “Pancake should be okay”, she mumbled to herself and started getting out all the ingredients. She was thankful Ha Neul played it cool about what happened last night, although it was sort of blurry for her. She could only remember bits of pieces of last night but she knew he helped her a lot and maybe she was the one causing him to stay up at night, and missed his morning run. After she was done cooking, she prepared the table and decided to clean the house after the chaos she created last night. God, she was so embarrassed.

            She entered his room, unsure of going in but she entered anyway. She picked up some clothes that were on the floor and fold it up, some she will put it in the laundry basket near his door. She went to his study table to see the mess on it, books scattered around, crumpled papers and stationery but there was one thing that caught her eyes, which was a very familiar earring that looked like hers. The one she lost and there was only one of it on the desk. She took it in her hand, analyzing it further. He’s m, her final thought. before she could speculate longer, she heard the door opened and quickly put the earring back to its place while she moved to the side of the bed to pick up the remaining clothes on the floor

            “Ji Eun!”, he called out. She could see him panicking as he saw her in his room. Ji Eun act normal when she turned around and chirpily answered him. She saw his eyes stealing quick glance to the desk and seeing that the desk was still in a mess, he let out a small breath of relief. “Hold on, let me pick up some more clothes. You can go ahead and eat first”, she replied before leaving his room.  “Ji Eun, are you okay if I ask you some questions about what happened to you?”, he asked while taking the first bite of the pancake. She hummed in reply while her hands were busy filling glasses with orange juice. “When you were kidnapped-“, he paused looking at her reaction. She sat across him and hummed for him to continue. “When you were kidnapped, were there only two kidnappers?”,

            Ji Eun stayed in silence for a moment and replied yes confidently. “Why did you ask?” “Well, I heard from different sources that there were more but I’m just asking”, he shook it off while gulping more of the pancakes. “Kang Ha Neul-shi, I-”, “Ji Eun-ah, I think it is time for you to stop calling me Kang Ha Neul shi”,

            “Then, what should I call you?”

            “Well, I am older than you”,

            “Sunbae? Like Ha Neul senior?”,

            “Oppa? I heard you call Baekhyun Oppa sometimes”, her face changed a little when he said Baekhyun’s name. “Ha Neul Sunbae it is”, she replied with a weak smile. “Hey, I know you might not like this but, do you want to talk about Baekhyun?” “There’s nothing much to talk about”, she replied without looking at him. “Is he still calling you? Maybe you should pick up”, he asked, worried. “I think it was stupid of me. This whole Baekhyun thing, I was stupid. I thought I liked him but I don’t. Even knowing that, I tried liking him, sincerely I tried but he was just a friend. I didn’t have a friend for a long time so I wanted to preserve it. I thought I really do like him but”, she sighed “I don’t and with him doing what he did, I feel betrayed because I am trying so hard!”,

            “Ji Eun-ah, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to-“,

            “No, no, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t lash it on you while you’re trying to help me. I should thank you instead.” She said in guilt.

            “Hey, at least you don’t have pretend to like him anymore!” he joked around. She smiled in respond. “Hm, how’s your hangover?”, he changed the subject. “Better after I took the pills”, “Remind me not to let you drink anymore”, he stared jokingly and she replied no, begging him to stop talking about it but he didn’t. “I didn’t know you can climb very well, Ji Eun-ah”, she covered her face in shame while he laughed at her reaction. “Stop it and please don’t mention about this tonight during dinner. You didn’t forget about the dinner, didn’t you?”, she asked seriously. “No, madame”, he answered in English accent.

            “Leave everything, I’ll clean it up. You just go and rest”, he ordered as he started to collect all the plates. She nodded in
