XVI

You started organizing the book for hours, until you saw how dark it was outside, You took out your phone and text your brother "I'm going to be home late tonight, eat dinner without me." No reply. "I guess, he still isn't okay with me..." you sighed and continue to put away more books. (8:00pm) you were the only person left in the library, beside the librarian. You finish up your last book and head towards the front desk. "Good job today." She added. You smile and nodded "Here, give this to your teacher tomorrow. This is your community service hours, give it to him and your tardy will be excuse." You nodded "thank you" you added taking the sheet and head outside. 

As you were walking outside of the school building, you saw that it was rainy out the window and sighed "I forgot my umbrella...I'll just make a run for it, if anything." You added, as you walk out of the building. You saw someone standing there waiting "Bae Jinyoung.." you yelled. He turn around look at you, you walk up to him "Why are you still here?" he look at you and open the umbrella that he had in his hand."Are you coming or no?" You nodded running towards him, as he was about to leave. On the way home, he was holding the umbrella half of the time and some rain got on his jacket. You look over his shoulder and didn't say anything, it was complete silent between you two *Thinking to yourself* "Why are we so awkward..." 

"I'm sorry for today..." He say, you look at him "huh...for what?" he look down "Everything..From giving you the cold shoulder and not helping you with the whole Hyewon's situation." You smile "It's fine, don't worry about it. It just a misunderstanding that's all." He look at you and nodded "hmm". Half way to your house, the rain stop. "Oh.. it's stop rainy" he put out his hand and nodded "Hmm". Jinyoung put away the umbrella and you both continue walking. 

[AT YOUR FRONT DOOR] 
"Thanks for walking him home." you added. "It's nothing, don't worry about it." he added. As you were about to say something, someone call out to Jinyoung. "Jinyoung ah ~" You both look at the direction the voice was coming from. "Kyulkyung noona?" Jinyoung added. She walk up to you both "Jinyoung ah ~" she added holding on to his arm. You look at her and smile "Annyeonghaseyo.." you bow. "Oh I didn't know you were with your friend. Sorry." she apologize. You shake your head. "No it's nothing..." Jinyoung look down at his arm and let go our her hand. "This is Lee Jaein, my classmate and this is Kyulkyung noona..she's my-" Kyulkyung interrupted "I'm his noona (Older sister)" You nodded "Nice to meet you." She look at you and smile "wow! Bae Jinyoung, your friend is really pretty. Do you have a boyfriend? Do you want me to hook you up with someone?" You shake your head "No..It's alright. Thank you..Ummm I should really get going..I'll see you tomorrow then." You added and walk inside. 

Jinyoung look at you and held your arm "...Wait..." He look back at Kyulkyung "Noona,can you wait for me..over there..." Kyulkyung look at you both and wink at Jinyoung "Got it!" She added and left. You look down at his hand "Sorry.." he added. You smile "She's really pretty..." He look at you and scratch his head "We are nothing.. I swear..I didn't know she would be here..." You laughed at him "Yah..Bae Jinyoung..Why are you explaining that to me?" He look at you "...i..don't know.." You smile "I should get going, I'll see you tomorrow?" He look at you and smile "yeah..." You look at him and back at Kyulkyung "Goodbye unnie" you wave at her and walk inside your house. 

[JINYOUNG'S POV]
On the way back to Kyulkyung's house, you couldn't help but thinking about what you said to Jaein. "We are nothing.. I swear..I didn't know she would be here..." you shake your head, while walking. Kyulkyung look at you "are you okay?" you nodded "hmm" She look at you and smile. "Your friend, Jaein? She's adorable." you look at her "yeah..I guess" At her front door, "Thanks for walking me home." You nodded. She smile "yah! Lighten up, stop being so emo all the time." You scratch your head. She pat you on the head and walk away, but stop "Yah! Also, if you like her. Confess to her, I saw the way you look at her." she smile and walk inside. You look at her in shocked "but..I don't like her..though..." you added and walk away. *Thinking to yourself* "Do I ?" *DING* 

[BACK TO YOU]
You walk inside your house and sigh , "wow...She's really pretty." you said. Your brother walk out of the kitchen and saw you, you guys made eyes contact. But there was still awkwardness between you two, you let out a sighed as you saw him walk into his room. You took off your shoes and went straight to the bathroom and take a shower. After your shower, you walk out and towards your desk to start on your homework. As you were continuing your study, you couldn't help but search up Kyulkyung. You started to look into her on her instagram and you were amaze by how pretty she was "Wow..." you look at yourself in the mirror. "Jesus..I'm a potato compare to her" then you quickly realize what you just say and snap back into realize, "what am I saying.." you shake your head and went back to doing your homework. 

"Aish..." you couldn't help but overthink, so you stop what you were doing and grab your phone. You went to Kakaotalk and started texting Jinyoung. 
--MESSAGE--
You:Did you get you home safe?
Jinyoung:Just drop off Kyulkyung noona, on my way home right now.
You:Ahh..okay
Jinyoung:Jaein ah...
You:Hmm? What's up?
Jinyoung:Are you busy saturday?
You: No, why?
Jinyoung:Okay, let's hang out that day.Just the two of us.

You literally stop typing, when you saw he say "Just the two of us" *Heart beating* you put hand on your chest "Oh no..." you quickly shake your head and snap to reality "Yah, you guys are just friend. It's nothing."You reply back to him "Hmm, okay sure.It's a date..." you hit send without thinking anything. But as soon as you realize you throw your phone on your bed. "AHHHH!WHAT HAVE I DONE...NO NO NO NO! PLEASE DON'T SEE IT." You quickly pick up your phone and saw that Jinyoung have seen it. "Oh no..." 

[JINYOUNG'S POV]
You look at your phone for hours and your members quickly notice it. "Jinyoung ah ~ Are you eating?" Jisung added while putting foods on the table, everyone was staring at you with your phone. "Is he okay?" Woojin questioned. Daehwi walk over to look over your shoulder and shake his head, "what it is?" Jihoon ask. Daehwi look over at you and back to the food "Lee Jaein" he added in a singing voice. "oooooooooo" everyone added, you look over at your members "yah, we're just friend" you snap "then why are your cheeks red?" Sungwoon added. Minhyun came over to comfort you "yah, stop bullying him. Let's him." he added touching your head.

"Beside, this is the first time he's like this." Minhyun added trying to help you. Guanlin look over "wasn't hyung like this with Kyulky-" before he could finish his sentence Jaehwan shut him up "Wow good job Guanlin ah" he added trying to make him realize, what he was about to say. "Oh, I wish. I can find love like him." Seongwu added eating his food. Daniel look over at him "Hyung ! You got me, what do you mean." Everyone added "Oh ONGNIEL!" 

*DING* You pick up your phone to look at the notification "Hmm, okay sure.It's a date..." she reply. You look at the messages in shock. You got out of the position and ran into your room. "what was that?" Sungwoon ask. Minhyun got up and look at the members, "I have no idea.." You look at your phone in shocked  "What... what does this mean ?" *Heart beating* "No..Noo...wait...Am I ... Noo" you started denying everything you can to ignore reality. You stare at your phone for hours, waiting for an reply from her. 

[NEXT MORNING]
As you were walking to school, you couldn't help but remembering what you send Jinyoung "Aish...PABO PABO ! " you said as you were hitting yourself with your fist. But then someone stop you from doing so, you look up at the person and realize it was Jinyoung. You look at him and gasp "Sorry..." you added and ran quickly into the school building. 

You enter the class room, trying to catch your breath. You sat down on your table and sigh "Jesus..." As you were putting your stuff away Hyewon walk over to you "yah! I have afterschool duty today, take care of it for me?" You look at her "why would I ?" She lead towards you and whisper to you "If you dont, I will do something worse beside taking your phone." She chuckled and left your desk. You look at her and shake your head. 

"Jaein ah " Daehwi added waving at you while walking towards you. "Oh Daehwi ah" you added, suddenly you make eyes contact with Jinyoung instead. So you turn your head away from him and hide yourself. Daehwi sat down next you what "yah, what are you doing?" you look at Daehwi trying to hush him "nothing, im just comfortable this way." Daehwi shake his head "Okay" 

[LUNCH]
"Yah, are you coming ?" Daehwi added. You look at him and Jinyoung "Umm..Im going to the teacher office. Eat lunch without me" you added running away from them. "what's up with her?" Daehwi added walking towards the cafeteria with Jinyoung. You enter the teacher office and gave your community hours to him . Lunch was still going, but instead you decided to skip it. Since you didn't want to talk to Jinyoung about what happened or even think of what happened. 

[JINYOUNG'S POV]
You sat down at the table with Jaechan, Guanlin and Daehwi. "Where's Jaein?" Jaechan asked. "She said she went to the teacher office for something, I don't know." Daehwi added eating his lunch. Guanlin look over to you "Hyung ! What are you doing Saturday? Jaechan hyung and I wanted to go watch a movie, you wanna come?" Daehwi look at Guanlin "Hey ! I wanna come too." He added and Jaechan chuckled "So?" You look at him and the guys "Sorry, I already have plan." you apologize. "With who? and What? This is the first time I heard of this." Daehwi questioned. You look at him and smile "Don't worry about it." 

"Jaein ah ~" Jaechan added as you guys were walking back to class. As soon that she saw you guys, she bow and left to class. "What was that?" Guanlin added and everything just look at each other. "I don't know" *Thinking to yourself* "Is she avoiding me?" 

[END OF CLASS]
"We'll wait for you in front of the school building." Daehwi added and left with Jinyoung. "Wait..Aish...I have to stay after today..." you added. Hyewon walk over to you with her group of friends "Have fun" the girls giggles and left the building. 

Outside of the school building, Jinyoung and Daehwi was waiting for you. "Huh? where is she?" as each students came out they saw Hyewon and her group of friends. "Wait isn't Hyewon on afterschool duty today ?" Daehwi added and then realize "Wait..It can't be... Its Jaein doing Hyewon duty for her?" He added and Jinyoung sighed "Let me call her " *Ring Ring* You took out your phone and notice it was Jinyoung, you decided to not answer the call since you were too embarrassing and went back to cleaning. "Huh?She didn't pick up" Daehwi added and running back inside the school building. 

"There she is" Daehwi pointed to you as you were cleaning the board. You saw him and Jinyoung "What are you guys doing here..?" Jinyoung look at you "We should ask you that same question, why are you doing Hyewon's work for her?" Daehwi snap. You look at them both "It's fine, I'm almost done.Shouldn't you guys go, you don't want to be late for work." Daehwi look at his phone and at Jinyoung. "It's fine, we can help you finish up and leave." You shake your head. "Go!" You push them both and went back to finishing up. "Fine ! But remember to call me, once you get home." Daehwi added and walk away with Jinyoung. 

[Home]
As soon as you walk inside your house, your brother was about to leave. "Where are you going?" You asked. He didn't look back at you "Work" as he was about to leave you held your brother arms "Take this, you can drink it during work." He turn around and look down at your hand "Thanks...Rest, there's foods on the counter if you are hungry." He added and left. 

"hm...what's a day..." you let out a deep sighed and notice the date. "Wait tomorrow is Saturday..." you gasp. "Oh no..Wait I have been avoiding him all morning...Did he notice?" 

A/N: I'M SO TIRED...Im about to watch Revenge Note and just knock out. Sorry It have been rough lately, but I'll update more as times goes. I promise ~
