{Chapter 7: Late night savior!{

“Who—” Hani muttered as he looked back

“Just run” he said as Hani paused

“C-Changbin?” she muttered as the rapper pulled them inside a narrow alley, waiting for the coast to clear.

It was like a dream…a dream where my knight in his black jacket— yeah black jacket, comes and saves me from the gang of mean guys.

My knight is just the one whom I wanted to be…

The one whose hand I want to hold and run far, far away.

Hani looked straight up at Changbin panting for air as his two arms blocked her on both side, their bodies completely in contact.

“Hush, I’m harmless” Changbin whispered, pulling down his facemask, as Hani nodded when she heard footsteps of the guys as she tightly clenched her hands and buried her face into Changbin’s chest.

Hani could feel Changbin’s chin rest on the top of her head as she dared not to look anywhere, scared. A few minutes pass by, Hani felt Changbin’s hand her hair.

“I think they’re gone” he said in his low voice as Hani shook her head

“I’m scared” she muttered in a small voice as he pulled back his hands

“I’m here, don’t worry” his warm voice said as Hani felt her entire body shaking – there were these gangsters who were after a lonely school girl getting home after class, then there was Changbin appearing out of nowhere.

“But how did you know?” Hani asked as Changbin pulled her for a hug, making her freeze, again.

“I’m sorry I was a bit late” he said as Hani stood there, astonished.

“I think we should get out of here” Changbin said as Hani nodded

“Thank you” Hani bowed as she looked at the dark alley scared

“Don’t worry about it” Changbin smiled as he took off his jacket and placed it over Hani

“I’ll walk you home” he said as Hani nodded

“Thanks” she muttered as the two walked out together.

The first time I met Changbin, and it was crazy.

Soon:

“Please come in, I’ll cook you something nice” Hani said as Changbin smiled shaking his head

“I’ll just head home, please give me directions, I’m not too familiar with this neighborhood” Changbin said as Hani pulled him into the lift

“I insist” she smiled as Changbin looked at her and awkwardly turned away.

“You must have been scared eh?” Changbin asked as they got into the apartment

“Emm…it usually don’t happen but I don’t know why it happened tonight” Hani sighed as she prepared food for her guest.

“I usually don’t have guests that often, so I get really happy when I have people over for food. Make yourself comfortable” Hani said as Changbin nodded.

Hani watched Changbin devour the food as she chuckled

“Were you that hungry?” she asked as Changbin chuckled awkwardly

“The food is delicious” he smiled as Hani smiled

“Thanks, do come often, I owe you” she smiled as she noticed Changbin’s phone beside him on the table as she remembered to call C.B.

“Excuse me, but I’ll make a call” she said as Changbin nodded.

Hani quickly went to the kitchen as she called him –C.B. A few rings later the call was answered as Hani sighed a bit looking at Changbin eating his dinner peacefully

*It really isn’t you* she sighed

“Neh yobosaeyo?” a voice said as Hani smiled a bit

“I’ll call you a bit later” she said hanging up as she walked to the kitchen and sat watching the latter wolf down the dinner.

Fast forward:

“Thank you once again, I’ve called a cab, it’ll take you directly to the dorm” Hani said as Changbin bowed politely nodding

“Thank you for the food, it was delicious” he said as Hani nodded smiling

“Thank you for everything” she smiled as Changbin rubbed his neck awkwardly when Hani kissed his cheek

“Good night” she smiled as he awkwardly nodded before the lift door closed between them.
