{Chapter 18: Why so lonely?{

“Ryujin-ah, you have to match the beat. There’s only 3 months left for the showcase, you can’t be lacking like this” Changbin said as he turned off the music.

“Oppa” Ryujin called as Changbin looked at her

“If I get to debut, will you come and train me again?” Ryujin asked as Changbin looked at her blankly

“Ani. Why would I?” he asked making the trainee smile nodding

“Are you dating that unnie who came last time?” Ryujin asked as Changbin turned around playing the music of Blackpink’s “Boombayah”

“Once more” he shouted as Ryujin made a face.

“You’re waiting for me, where?!” Hani shouted as she sighed, holding her files close to her.

“At the café, wae? I can’t concentrate in the practice room” June answered.

“But why does it have to be a café? Are you looking for excuses to meet me out like this?” Hani sighed face-palming herself

“Come on, it’s just Jinan hyung noona’s café” the stubborn voice replied

“Fine, see you at 5” Hani sighed hanging up.

My time with June used to be beautiful, it was ridiculous, to be honest.

“So if you’re the main PD, what are the things you want to do?” Hani asked for the fifth time as June sat back, relaxed with a smirk on his face

“Molla…just chill, I guess” June chuckled as Hani covered her face with her hands annoyed

“Yah, why do you ignore me when you see me at the company, huh? You know hurt I am because of that?” June chuckled as Hani sighed

“Let’s keep business matters business, oh?” Hani said annoyed as she tapped the notebook with her pen.

“I will meet you tomorrow, make sure you come up with a plan or something. I am a PD but this is a show by you guys so I want you all to be serious as much as I am” Hani said glaring at June.

“Ugh fine, now business aside, have you been seeing someone?” June asked as Hani sighed standing up and grabbing her things

“See you later okay?” she muttered annoyed walking away

“Wait!” June shouted running after her.

“Here” Ryujin said handing Changbin a bottle of water as the elder did a small bow.

“Oppa, that unnie is so lucky, she’s probably your first in everything” Ryujin said smiling as Changbin took sips from the bottle

“But…” she paused as Changbin raised an eyebrow

“Are you her first too?” the trainee asked sweetly as Changbin shook his head

“I don’t really care about it” he said as Ryujin nodded as she took out her phone, searching for something.

“Ah, this. See, they used to date” Ryujin said handing Changbin her phone as he looked at the picture of Hani and June together.

“iKON’s Koo June” Ryujin- the hiss, said folding her arms as Changbin turned to her.

“If you want to continue dance sessions like this, stay out of our personal lives” Changbin said getting up and exiting the room.

“You are clearly pissed about it” Ryujin muttered as she heard the door close.

“...And why exactly are you following me here?!” Hani shouted as June forcefully got into the cab, next to Hani, briefly giving directions to Hani’s house.

“SO ANNOYING!” Hani shouted as June chuckled

“yah, yah, don’t hate me so much” June chuckled as Hani turned away, staring at the window outside

“I hate you” she muttered as she sat there, not saying a word.

The cab soon pulled out in front of Hani’s apartment as she got off, followed by June.

“Are you gonna follow me home too?!” Hani shouted annoyed

“Yah, don’t always shout at me. I just want to talk to you” June said as Hani rolled her eyes

“its 8:25, I’ll give you five minutes. Leave after that” Hani said as June nodded smiling

“Just tell me, are you seeing someone? From JYP?” June asked as Hani looked at him

“Have you been stalking me around?!” Hani asked as June showed her a picture

“Someone dropped this at the studio today” June said showing her a photograph of her and Changbin sitting together, holding hands.

“There was a note attached to it. ‘tell her to stay out of our lane’” June said as Hani sighed.

“Hani-yah, you know JYP and YG are rival companies. You are a YG fam and he’s from JYP, that’s just not right, right?” June asked looking at her as Hani clenched her fist.

“Plus, he is still a trainee. If dating scandals go around before he debuts he’s ruined…big time. I’m not saying you guys shouldn’t date. I’m just saying that now’s just not the right timing…both for you and him” June said as Hani looked at him

“Your five minutes is up, leave” she said walking off.

A few days later:

Hani ran as fast as she could as his voice rang in her ear – “Noona, I got eliminated”

“Felix, wait for me” she muttered as she looked around at the park where she was supposed to find the younger.

“Found you” Hani muttered sitting in front of him as Felix kept his head down, quietly sobbing.

“I’m so sorry for what happened” Felix said as Hani looked at him

“You did a good job okay, noona is so proud of you” Hani smiled sadly as she cupped his cheeks

“Look here” she said as Felix turned to her, sobbing.

“Uljima, you low pitched maknae” Hani smiled making Felix break into a small laughter

“You know, noona will even fight with JYP if he doesn’t bring you back okay?” Hani smiled as Felix looked at her

“And w-why would you do that?” he asked as Hani thought for a while

“Because you led me to that idiot, Seo Changbin. So, I’ll have to repay you” Hani smiled as Felix chuckled

“I’m supposed to be crying” he muttered as Hani rubbed his tears away

“Let me hug you, my baby” Hani smiled hugging the younger as the boys proudly smiled from a distance.

“Why is your girl so perfect, eh Seo Changbin?” Chan chuckled as Changbin proudly smiled

“Noona will be with you till the very end” Hani said as a tear dropped from her eyes

“Ah, uljima! You’re supposed to be telling me not to cry” Felix sulked as Hani gave a small laugh.

“Mian” she smiled when they heard footsteps behind them.

“Yah, are you trying to lure my girl?” Changbin’s voice called as Hani rolled her eyes looking at the seven guys.

“I’m just telling my baby not to cry” Hani said sticking out her tongue.

“How’re you feeling?” Chan asked to Felix who just nodded as Hani looked sadly at the boys – their dreams to debut as 9 which got reduced to 7, their eyes which showed everything even behind those smiles they faked.

Hani turned to Felix sitting with the boys, trying to cheer each other up as she sat with Changbin on the bench as she looked at Changbin

“Don’t be sad” she said noticing Changbin’s red eyes

“He’ll come back, I guarantee you” Hani smiled as Changbin held her hand tightly in his

"Thanks for always being around us” he smiled as Hani smiled nodding

“YG is here to help JYP” Hani chuckled as she turned to Changbin as she cupped his cheeks.

“WE CAN SEE EVERYTHING!” Seungmin shouted, covering his ears as Changbin made a face making Hani laugh
“Fine, we’re coming!” she shouted back as Changbin looked at the boys and then at Hani

“Just come” she smiled pulling him as the guys gave them teasing looks.

“Oh god” she sighed.

Hyunjin smiled as he looked at the two couple playfully teasing each other – Yang Hani, he smiled.
