{Chapter 28: A fall’s dream{

Hani waited for bus as she looked at the picture of her and Changbin smiling together, holding hands, in her phone

*Pabo* she smiled as she got into the bus at the stop – 4419.

Hani gave a small sigh as she scrolled down her contacts - My hubby.

*Did you change your number already?* she thought as she paused before finally dialing his number

“Ring 1”

“Ring 2”

“Ring 3”

“Ring 4”

“Ring 5”

“Yobbosaeyo” his voice said as Hani found herself all smiles.

“Changbin-ah” she smiled

“Emm?” his voice rang as she sighed

“Hi” she smiled as Changbin gave a small chuckle

“You finally decide to call me after two long years?” he asked as Hani nodded, watching the monitor at the bus play Stray Kids’ – “Mirror” Changbin's rap there got me asdffdhhdkjfhkjfha *sinks in a pool of fangirl feels*

Changbin sat in front of the desk in their room as he tried to focus on writing the songs, the music bank trophies and Gaon Rookie trophies standing there in all its glory – Stray Kids.

“CHANGBIN-AH YOUR PHONE IS RINGING!” Woojin shouted from the living room

“Ohhh, coming” Changbin said walking out of the room
“HANI IS CALLING YOU!!” Chan shouted running to Changbin with the phone

“Is it Shin Ryujin again?” Changbin muttered as Chan answered the call

“Oh neh, Hani-yah” Chan answered as Changbin looked at the leader

“The joke is seriously getting old okay” Changbin muttered as Chan smiled

“Neh, Changbin here refuses to talk to you, otthokae” Chan giggled as Changbin pulled the phone away and put it in his ear

“Hani?” he paused

“Neh” Felix’s voice answered as the boys burst out laughing

“Do that again and you’re dead’ Changbin muttered

“Wae? Don’t you love me?” Felix asked as Changbin hung up on the phone
“Did you just hang up on me?” Felix shouted from the bathroom as Changbin turned to walk away, tossing the phone at the couch when it rang again
“LEE FELIX STOP CALLING!” Changbin shouted

“It’s not me though” Felix said getting out of the bathroom, phone in his hand

“My wife? Who’s that? Ryujin?” Seungmin asked as Changbin looked at the younger

“Do you always see Ryujin with Changbin?” Woojin asked rolling his eyes

“She keeps calling him all the time though” Jisung said as Chan looked at the phone that was ringing

“But why would you save it as – My wife?” Minho asked when Hyunjin tossed the phone to Changbin

“It’s her” he said as Changbin looked at the caller ID – My wife.

“Who is the wife?” Seungmin asked looking at Hyunjin as the rapper smiled

“Who else?” he smiled

“Yobbosaeyo” Changbin answered as the boys looked at him expectantly

“Changbin-ah” her voice rang

“LOUDSPEAKER, LOUDSPEAKER!” Woojin whisper-shouted

“Emm?” his answered

“Hi” she said as Changbin gave a small chuckle

“You finally decide to call me after two long years?” he asked walking into the room, locking himself in

“YAH SEO CHANGBIN!” the boys shouted together.

“Where are you?” Changbin asked nervously as he paced up and down in his room

“Meet me in bus 4419” Hani said as Changbin grabbed his sweater.

Hani played with her fingers as she wrapped herself warmly with the scarf as the bus stopped at every bus stop, people getting off as the number of people lessened.

Tapping her fingers to the song – Are you okay by the Eastlight I just love them 2000 liner kids gyaaaa Woojin-ah, say hi t o noona, Hani closed her eyes, moving her head slowly to the beat of the song.

Changbin ran as he got into the bus – not wanting to convince himself that it may only be a dream.

He stopped as he looked at the same girl from the café that day with a coat keeping her warm as she jammed to the song she was listening

“Yang Hani” his voice called as Hani slowly opened her eyes.

“Changbin-ah” she smiled as he went and sat next to her

“Hi” Hani smiled turning to him as he looked at her

“Bogoshiposeo” he smiled as Hani nodded

“Na du”

And just like that my nightmare came to an end.

The nightmare that started from bus 4419 ended with the bus 4419.

Hyunjin stood at the rooftop, a can of beer in his hands, as he laid down, staring at the stars in the sky when he heard footsteps

“Felix-ah, enough with the lady whose footsteps I hear when I’m alone in the terrace, trick” he sighed when someone came and sat next to where he was sleeping

“Get up, lazy ” her voice said as she stared at the stars

*That voice…*

“Gurae, it’s Yang hani” Hani chuckled as Hyunjin got up, pulling her into a hug

“Hani?” he muttered as Hani took a step back, taken aback
“Yah” she chuckled as Hyunjin felt tears escape his eyes

“How are you? Why didn’t you answer my calls whenever I called? You’re only concerned about Changbin, not me’ Hyunjin said as Hani laughed

“Yah you grew up” Hani said cupping his cheeks

“Aigoo, my Hyunjin-ah” she smiled ruffling his hair

“I wrote you letters, didn’t I” Hani smiled as Hyunjin shook his head

“Twice, on my birthday, but that’s not enough” Hyunjin said as Hani smiled warmly when

“She didn’t even wish me on my birthday” Changbin’s voice said in an annoyed tone as Hani chuckled, Hyunjin giving off a small laugh

“WELCOME BACK!” Chan shouted running up to them

“Wait, you already told the boys—”

“WAE?! HE CAN’T?!” Seungmin shouted as Hani sighed laughing.

“You really are back” a voice said as Hani and Jongin tried to dispense the soda from the machine

“Oh, you…nice to meet you” Hani smiled politely at Ryujin as Jongin gave weird looks to the two

“Shin Ryujin” Ryujin said as Hani nodded turning away

“Noona, let’s go fast, hyungs must be waiting” Jongin said as Hani nodded smiling

I really can't wait until Jongin starts his evil maknae side. Now he's just a smiling baby T_T Ya'll hyungs, I believe in this evil maknae's potential.

“Handshake?” Ryujin asked as Hani looked at her hand when something caught her eye – the ring on her finger that once belonged to her.

“That ring…” Hani muttered as Ryujin smiled sweetly looking at her ring

“Oh, it’s a gift” she smiled as Hani looked at the sodas dispensed as she put them in a paper bag

“It’s not too good to put love rings in the little finger, don’t you think?” Hani smiled as Ryujin made a face

“And” Hani said as she took the ring and placed it on Ryujin’s hand

“It’s not too good to keep love charms to belonged to another couple either” Hani smiled as Ryujin eyed the finger ring in Hani’s finger engraved with the initials “C.B.H.N”

“Maybe you’d want this when I get a new one too…but , this has our names engraved…bye” Hani smiled placing a soda on Ryujin’s hand, walking away

“Waaaa Noona is daebak” Jongin said showing a thumbs up as Hani proudly smiled.

The same night:

Hani sat outside as she washed the lettuce, preparing for the little mini party with the boys when

“Let me help you, noona” Felix said as Hani smiled nodding

“Then you help, bye” Changbin said dragging Hani away

“YAH!” Felix shouted pointing at the couple making Hani laugh

Changbin dragged Hani as he closed the door to his room

“it’s not fair that you never get alone time with me” he sulked as Hani chuckled

“wae~?” she asked as Changbin hugged her from behind

“Who was that guy in ‘love and fall’ café with you that day?” Changbin asked as Hani chuckled

“You saw me?” she asked as Changbin nodded

“I thought I was hallucinating” Changbin sulked

“Then tell me why Ryujin has our love charm” Hani asked placing her hand with Changbin’s, their rings matching each other

“I’m pretty sure I lost it when you returned it to me that day” Changbin muttered confused as Hani nodded

“And that guy was June, we were discussing plans for a show…your girl is really busy you see” she chuckled as Changbin nuzzed on her neck
“I missed you” he said as Hani turned to him kissing his lips

“YAH YOU TWO TAKE CARE OF THE LETTUCE!” Felix banged on the door making Hani chuckle as she dragged Changbin with her

“We can stay together but for now, let’s help that Lee Felix” Hani chuckled tightly holding Changbin’s hand.

And at that one fall’s night everything seemed perfect.

Hani couldn’t ask for anything more except her family – Stray kids.

“Woojin-ahhh, go help Hyunjin in setting out the grill!!” Chan shouted

“NEHHHH!!”

“I’LL HELP TOO!” Jongin shouted running happily

“Cut the meat in equal thickness or it won’t cook well” Minho instructed as Seungmin nodded

“HAN JISUNG, GO BE OF HELP!” Chan shouted taking out the plates and spoons

“I’M ON A HELLEVATORRR!!” came the high-pitched reply

“Date me” Changbin said washing the lettuce

“Sure” Felix chuckled as Hani laughed.
