Chapter-20

My Only Love

Jaejoong's POV

We're supposed to have our first practice today in so many years. Yoochun's wedding is just 2 days away. I don't know if we can perform with just 2 days to practice.

I was on my way to practice from the hospital. I got my guitar and keyboard from home. The ones I used in high school.

When I reached the place, Tiffany and Yoochun were already there with Sooyoung, Yunho, Taeyeon and Junsu.
Actually I expected Tiffany n Yoochun to be late cause they could be busy with their wedding preparations.

"You guys are early." I told them.

"Of course...this is something so important to me. I can't be late or not show up." Tiffany said in the most dramatic way.

But it's true our band defines our high school days. So it is a precious memory to us all. And considering Tiffany treasures memories more than anything, this must mean a lot to her.

"Sorry we're late."

I saw Changmin coming in followed by a girl. I couldn't see properly cause Changmin was blocking the view. But when he moved, I saw it was Krystal.
Everyone was welcoming her. They were happy to see her after so long and so was I. I always thought of her like my lil sister.

"Oppa!" She came in front of me.

I couldn't help but smile cause she was still the same cute girl she was back then.

"How have you been?" She asked as she gave me a hug.

"I've been good. I'm glad you came. It's been so long." I told her.

"Aham!" Tiffany coughed. "Can we do the bonding later? Cause we have something important to do right now?"

"Oh sorry! I was so excited to meet everyone." Krystal told Tiffany.

I guess she didn't come...yet. I didn't get to ask Krystal or maybe it's cause I couldn't bring myself to.

We started practicing. We were having a hard time trying to get used to the instruments again cause we haven't played since high school except for Sooyoung. I heard she plays and sings occasionaly in her cafe. She sometimes invites us to sing too but we all have our own jobs so we never made it.

After hours of practicing, we finally got it right and everyone was finally starting to enjoy like the old days. We decided to wrap it up for the day and practice some more again the next day.

Everyone wrapped up their things and was on their way home. I also got my car and was about to get in when Krystal called me from the back.

"Oppa!"

I turned to see her standing behind me alone.

"Are you busy? Can we hang out a bit?" She asked hoepfully.

"Yeah...sure...but what about Changmin?"

"I already sent him home."

"Amazing how he agreed to leave you alone." I joked.

"Because I need time with an even more handsome guy, I sent him away" She joked with that sweet smike.

I couldn't help but smile. She has grown a lot.

"Where do you want to go?" I askes as I drove.

"I don't know...Oppa,recommend some place" She said as she started playing the songs from the radio.

She was moving her head to the rhythm of the songs.

I first took her to a restaurant since she might be hungry and because she loves food too.

She was gulping down the food like she hasn't ate in a long time.

"Slow down a bit...Were you that hungry?" I told her.

"Yeah...I haven't had anything yet properly since morning." She said while still gulping down I food.

I was smiling the entire time. I never realized how that shy little girl became like this.

"Oh...you know what oppa? Changmin oppa cooked today and it was very very bad. But I had to pretend it was good."

"Is that why you're so hungry?" I laughed as I asked her.

She just smiled and nodded and continued eating.

After having the dessert, we decided to leave.

"Oppa, can we walk a bit? I think I'll have indigestion if I don't. I think I ate too much." She said.

After walking around a bit, we decided to sit down at the park.

"Oppa...you want to ask, don't you?" She asked me suddenly.

"Hm?" I was quite taken aback.

"About unnie...I can tell you're holding yourself from asking about her."

"She's doing well, right?" I asked her with a smile. I had so many things I wanted to ask but I thought it was better I don't. The more I know about her and talk about her, the more I'll miss her and I don't want to be a burden to her new life with her husband.

Krystal's POV

Changmin oppa was watching TV when I came back home. I went and sat next to him.

"Did you have dinner?" He asked. "If you didn't I can cook you something."

"No...it's fine I ate with Jaejoong oppa."

"What did you guys talked about?" He asked.

"Nothing much."

I was sitting there quitely for a while while Changmin oppa continued watching TV.

I was trying to figure out Jaejoong oppa's and unnie's feelings. I'm pretty sure they still love each other.

I guess Changmin oppa noticed me going to a deep thought.

"Hey what are you thinking?" He asked facing me and turning off the TV.

"I think Jaejoong oppa doesn't know about unnie's divorce." I told him.

"I never got to tell him so...yeah he probably doesn't know."

"Aish...I'm pretty sure they can still work it out though.." I talked to myself.

"What did you say?" Changmin oppa probably thought I was talking to him.

"Do you think Unnie and Jaejoong oppa can start again?" I asked him.

"Yeah...if they meet and sort things out." He replied.

"Maybe I should plan something when unnie comes here. What do you think I should do?" I asked him with excitement and hope that he would suggest something.

"Why don't you just leave it to them?" He said nonchalantly.

I just stared at him for a while still not believing he just ruined my "not even started yet" plan.

I hit him slightly with my bag as I just got up and left for the bedroom.

"WHAT? WHAT JUST HAPPENED?" Changmin oppa was shouting still not able to grasp the situation.
