Once again the school day had come to an end and everyone was on their way home. As Hayun was walking out the gate she noticed a figure leaning on the wall beside it smoking a cigarette.

“Shouldn’t you go home Seunghyun?” she asked strolling up to him.

“I was waiting” he replied blowing out some smoke.

“Waiting for who?” she asked again obliviously.

“For you, who else?” he stated emphasizing ‘you’.

Hayun giggled “Okay but can I ask why?”

“I have taken, upon myself, the duty of making sure that you get home safe and sound” he explained stepping closer to her.

But when he stepped closer she stepped back, Seunghyun looked at her with an almost hurt expression before she said “Very well then but first put out that cigarette as much as smoking might look hot the smell really puts me off”

Seunghyun smirked as he tossed the cigarette on the ground and crushed it with his shoe. “The smell will go away after a while” he said seeing her frown still.

“I guess I’ll have to deal with it until then” she said already beginning to walk ahead and Seunghyun followed.

It was already evening the sun still travelled ever so slowly to its setting point and the sky was painted in orange. The ugly smell of smoke had now been gone as the couple walked down the pavement side by side.

“So we’re going to walk together like this every day?” Hayun asked breaking the silence.

“Yes, why? You want those guys to come and finish what they started?” Seunghyun teased.

“No! Besides we don’t know if they’ll come again. I mean for all we know they are scared to even look at me since I’m your girlfriend” she pointed out.

“You obviously weren’t listening that day. Those guys would come after you whether you’re my girlfriend or not.”

“That reminds me, why did they call you TOP?” she asked in an innocent way.

Seunghyun thought for a moment how on earth could he tell her that it was a street name for him in the underground given to him since he was the TOP fighter. He just got Hayun to have a different impression of him if he revealed this maybe it would revert back.
